WHAT ~ SO THERE’S A EASIER WAY TO DO THIS ( ME👉🏾🤦🏾♀️🤣) WHY DID I NOT WHATCH THIS VIDEO YEARS AGO 😂 ~ THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
Love the clear directions thank you
That’s exactly how I do it too!!
Very helpful! Thanks!
You could replace the "Bichon" in the image (since you said you're going to remove it) with a scaling box that's 1 inch x 1 inch so when people print it out, it's the right scale. You could also potentially put registration marks on the image in another colour so it can be aligned correctly. This is often used in sewing PDF patterns.
If you wanted to get more technical, you could import the image in Photoshop (or a free alternative), create a new layer then trace the image so you have your defined lines for the pattern which you can then easily print separately to save on ink and make it easier to trace.
Amazing info. I'm going to have to figure out while I'm sitting with someone techical! Thanks!
@@RibbonCandyHooking No problem! :) I'm a technical type myself who's looking at rug hooking or punch needling as a new hobby so your video came up in my feed. Glad I clicked!
@@q_nevermore I'm glad you did too! Not everybody is forthcoming with info and I appreciate how much information and detail you have. As soon as the noise dies down in my head from frantic busyness I'm going to focus on your amazing tips!
What is the name of the canvas you use to draw on the dog?
What do you use to trim the wool down when your rug is done?
I just use a small pair of sharp scissors. Regular ones. They sell the shaped ones that look like topiary scissors and I'm sure they're great too
Hello, can I use aida cloth for punch needle?
No. Weavers cloth works for tiny punch needle and monk's cloth for larger needles. The Aida has no stretch so the punch just wants to tear it.
Sorry could you tell me again where the Bicheno pattern comes from
Yes that's on my website... www.ribboncandyhooking.com/products/nancy-thomas-pattern-dog-bichon-face
how did you turn the image to a pdf
