Everyone in my life is going to get a rug this next year for their birthday, I love that homemade gifts are becoming more popular than just buying something in a store
Such a good idea! I made presents for my family this Christmas and they loved them so much ☺️ would recommend!
Just a quick hint folks, if you’re gonna use the rug as a floor rug and not a wall hanging, you need to back it with a layer of floor adhesive to keep it sturdy and it’ll last longer, if you want it as a wall hanging then is a good idea to back it with a layer of PVA as it’ll remain straighter with no curling edges and it’ll last longer. 😊✌🏻

Best video on tufting I've seen. Very informative. Plus using tuft needles can produce very fine lines and can do some of the most amazing pieces like dragons around a castle! The tufting gun does large areas but it's very difficult for detail. So good job. The more you do maybe you could show start to finish. Some people don't like videos like that but I wouldn't know since no one had made one. So frustrating for me. But great video thank you. I did like, subscribe, share.

No not at all use a tool to leverage the staple pins

hey everyone, one question: in many rug diy videos i’ve seen people apply a sort of glue to the carpet after finishing it and i also saw that henri linked one in the info box but to my mind he didn’t explain the use of it in this video...does anyone know if it’s mandatory to apply carpet glue? thanks so much in advance for the answer!!

How do you keep the finished rug from folding?
You can glue it with carpet adhesive in order to get it more stiff
I thought you have to glue down the rug on one side? or else you pull one string and everything gets loose
