    Admirable initiative. Happy to see a maker making. The spray adhesive needs you to wear a respirator. Or to spray outdoors. Not kidding. Can affect your brain and lungs over time. Important. Wish you luck.

      You know, I never gave any thought to this as I've used spray adhesive outside. Your comment got me curious and I checked the 3M website and oddly they only recommend a respirator based on an exposure assessment by the user. Thanks to you, I will absolutely use a respirator on future projects, I do semi truck interior as a side business to owning my own trucks. Thank you again

      I've thought about it and actually went to a rug binding warehouse months back but the only problem is they can only bind rugs that are straight lines. Most of my rugs have curves in them and are random shapes haha

    • @brendanbuehler4352
      @brendanbuehler4352 3 года назад +1

      Yeah a lot of them only bind straight! However with some cotton binding tape, a portable binder, and a little elbow grease you can get it to do just about any shape! Even inside corners! They are pretty expensive though and would add a lot of overhead that I’m sure you don’t need!

    Did I want to make rugs by hand? No. Did I want to buy some? Yes. Then I found out about modern day child slavery fueling foreign markets. I started hand knotting my own. It was a lot of work (2 years) but now I have a custom design and I feel better about the quality. It’s nice to see an entrepreneur spirit and youth encouraging creativity in others.

      Lol true, but that’s because small businesses fly under the radar not because Nintendo doesn’t care. Doesn’t matter how big or small your business is, if they know you exist they’re at least sending a cease and desist letter lol But let’s be real, 750k views isn’t exactly flying under the radar now is it 😂 Either way if I were him I would just play dumb until they reached out and then ok the party is over and move on from it lol

      I would just use a wet carpet cleaner. I have my doubts the compound used to keep ot together would do well in a washing machine. And the deepening on the yar you use, it could discolor.

    Thank you for the video! I purchased a gun from you but it seems like every time I try, the yarn stops feeding, I tear a hole in the fabric or it just doesn’t weave into the fabric.

    • @HJKelley47
      @HJKelley47 3 года назад +1

      OB Kash: Is the tension on your Monk's cloth tight enough? Are you working with Monk's cloth
      or loose weave burlap? It is important that you always have enough yarn pulled out from the
      center of your skein to help eliminate yarn feeding issues. It has also been shared with me that
      you cannot apply excess pressure against the backing fabric when tufting. Like yourself I am
      also still learning about tufting, and am watching many vids on the subject, particularly
      those that I can ask the creator of that channel questions during a live feed.

    • @PopularNobodysKash
      @PopularNobodysKash 3 года назад +1

      @@HJKelley47 thanks for the feedback. I started out using burlap and it seemed too thin so I switched to the monks cloth but it hasn’t made much of a difference. I also made a fabric holder like his fiber videos and I have it as tight as it can be. I’ll try having a lot more yarn going through the center today and just different amounts of pressure.

      I use the 8x10 cheap area rugs from Walmart. Remove all labels as forensics can trace the numbers to the Lot, store, receipt. and eventually link you to the purchase by surveillance if you didn't use a credit card.
