- No music, no talking, just making a Homer Simpson meme rug from start to finish!
My 5th rug tufting video - completely underestimated how challenging doing the face detailing on a rug this size would be! Any tips on how to get really defined THIN lines (eg. the black line around his face) please let me know in the comments! Any questions you have about the processes seen in this video drop it down below and i'll do my best to give you the answer.

I would absolutely LOVE one of your handmade rugs in my home, you're brilliantly AWESOME.
Jesus Christ loves you and all 😊😊😊😊😊
He’s got every right to charge an arm and a leg for it too. ✨
Hey just a heads up from a professional, when you use that spray adhesive, do it outside (or in a VERY well ventilated area) and wear a respirator. Those tiny adhesive particles can be inhaled, go into your lungs and stick to the walls of your lungs where you add to the glue every time you breathe in. There is no way to get rid of it. This is how an instructor of mine died.
Kind of like asbestos right?
Same with resin art, so sad when people don't know better. Thanks for spreading awareness!
This should have been pinned
Seeing Homer always makes me happy! 💛🥰
Hi mommy what's ur snapchat
A too I learned to get clean lines is to cut trim every color before you put the next color in. I find it helps out
omg i never thought i can use a video projector to draw
I'am using it now to paint a graffiti in my garage
you just saved me hundreds bucks
Thanks !
"This is easy!" I thought until I tried it and ended up with a painting in the loosest sense of the decoration. Bravo to you!
That is one vicious prison tattoo gun.
Forbidden tattoo gun
🤣🤣🤣

@@TheGemstoneMines get a job, bum
The trick is to do it from the INSIDE of the skin.
A small tip from someone who's been getting into sewing! For seamless edges, try folding the edges under the black, Kinda like what you did for the base of the carpet that you stitched into when you glued that on. Similar to that, however folding them down under the black instead of over, and thus creates a seamless edge that would make them look nicer on the back. I know those things can get annoying, especially for those with OCD.
Ahhh what a good idea! I will try giving this a go on my future rugs :)
@@rugtrade Which song do you prefer ?
The first :
What's the story Wishbone ?
What's this you're dreaming now ?
Such a big imagination,
On such a little pup !
What's the story Wishbone ?
Do you think it's worth a look ?
It's kind a seems familiar,
Like a story from a book.
Shake a leg, now, Wishbone !
Let's wag another tale.
Sniffing out adventure,
With Wishbone on the trail.
Come on, Wishbone.

Now that’s the perfect carpet I thought I would never have thought of
This was quality all the way around. I always stop to give props to talent
Means a lot man I appreciate it :)
This rug looks so good, I want one.
Good? He uses hot glue on the finish...
I really like that Matt went into the rug trade. It suits him! :D
The result is so satisfying. Thanks for sharing
Cant wait for one year from now to see what this artist has accomplished.
Love the design, talent and skill that went into that! 👏😄 Fantastic result!
Thanks for sharing.....

Need a rug!! How much
I would never have guessed this is how rugs are made.
Wow very talented! I love Simpson 💛✨
That rug really ties the room together.
I love your videos they're so calming. Please don't stop making them. ❤😊
Yessss. Love your videos man. Wish there was more
Interesting process. I had no idea this was a thing. I wanna get all the stuff to do it now though. 🍻
Wow, you have a lot of precision and control with that tool.
I used to make rugs when I was a kid I used to have a kitten the 80's and 90's I had the pattern and everything on it and you used to hook thing to hook the thread into it to make the rug is pretty fun
Smashing it man, another banger!
Overwhelmed great 👍🏾 job 😊
the editing on these just gets better and better 😍
This is my all time favourite meme
I think it would be cool if you could sew an overlock style stitch all the way around the edges just to solidify it. I’ve seen other factory rugs have this sewing around the edge and I feel like it makes them last long. Well done!
Yeah man that’s so true! I see some people use an overlock machine that makes it look very tidy, think they’re expensive though so won’t be getting one too soon !
@@rugtrade Ahh okay I didn’t know they would be expensive but either way the rug looks amazing!
You can do it by hand with a carpet binding stapler. Bond Carpet Products has "serge tape" that does an awesome job.@@rugtrade
Fantastic thumbnail, the video really caught my eye
Thank you that means a lot! :)
This was very enjoyable to watch! I love the finished product. (Didn’t listen since ASMR drives me batty lol)

That's dope.
I'd like to see a bony tony garbage pail kid rug that would be super fire. 🔥💯😮

Well done this is amazing 🎉
I’m wondering why they didn’t teach us this in DT instead of teaching us how to draw a cube 😂
😂😂😂 very true
So impressive!!
I love you made a fullsize rug. Something looks off about them when they are so small imo.
You signed it matt, because it's a floor mat, that's clever 🤣
and it's my name 😂🤯
That's awesome ❤
oh m geeeee...this is awesome! i love this scene
It's actually a lot easier than I imagined with that machine but still a lot of work
You are so skilled dude

First time here and I just have to say that is a great channel name!
넋 놓구 보게되네요 ㅋㅋ ❤

This is similar to the punch needle art right? Buy may I say it's faster 😂😂😂. Love it
That is such a good rug!!!!
The carpet turned out great, I wonder how many threads are needed to create such a carpet? although I've already seen
Why is the backing glued on the other side of the carpet?
Incredible work
You deserve more subs goodluck with your channel man
I appreciate it man thank you! :)
I saw that in yellow and green you used two lines at the same time... does that make any visible difference? btw nice job :)
Can u put those in the washing machine normally ? And btw incredible work !
I love it!
5:31 sounds like Glenn Quagmire laughing 😂
😂😂😂
Omggg this is so goood
Was gonna ask if he was selling any of these then I read the description lol dope vid thoe
It's very striking. Can you use shears on looped yarn as well as cut yarn?
Great question, I’ve never make a loop pile rug but I don’t think you use shears on those… I think you poke the loops with a stick and shuffle them in the the position that looks best :)
I’ve found a new passion
You could make one of those sequin pillows with this image, when you wipe the sequins it reveals Homer.
great craftsmanship, well done.
My favorite meme & gif
Talented and skilled aF ❤ love it.
Do you sell custom rugs? It would be cool to get one and also see it being made like this, it's a very satisfying experience
Something I thought I'd never give a shit about.....but it's cool man!!
So very cool! 🎉
Great video
Just want to know do you notice a difference between using 2 strand of yarn vs using 1? I see people do both? Does it really matter or does it come down to just preference?
Imagine just watching this, then *WHOPPER WHOPPER WHOPPER WHOPPER-*
"I cant...it's geo"....lol😆
Very nice finish and very well executed. I'm now following you. Can you tell me which yarn you are using please?
Amazing!❤❤❤
Te felicito. Buen video. Saludos desde Chile
Looks fun to do.... but what do you do with this rugs afterwards???
definitely cool
That is so dope ❤
Technic trouble sencibiality great deaft😅😅😅❤❤❤🎉
This is awesome!
Is this the new generation latch hook rugS ? So cool! I want one
You signed it as “Matt” 🤣🤣🤣
I want one of those.
Amazing 😳
Where did you get your equipment and materials? I think it'd be so cool to learn tufting!
Can you please make a video on where you got your supplies? From tufting gun to projector to yarn and cloth? Thanks.
rly nice
Maybe a black border would of added that finishing touch but overall it's amazing.
Sooo fire🔥🔥any links to where we can buy the gun??
Do they make one of those machines for right handed people too?
