For non-artists, how do you make the design bigger to fit your frame?

I take it to staples if you have one. I also have an old school overhead projector I bought for a song off Facebook marketplace. I used that in the months everything was closed.

Your videos are so helpful! What backing fabric would you recommend for a large rug?

I usually do monk's cloth. Linen is great but just a bit more expensive and will have same properties as a large rug

Do you use a small hoop to hold your piece for hooking

I use a rug hooking frame. But sometimes I use a quilters hoop which is two- tiered. You can use a hoop to start off and see if you like it. Some people stick with the hoop always... it's a preference thing for sure. But with hooking your pulling upwards so you have to be able to lean your hoop down and resist the upward pull. Feel free to write again if that was confusing!

I think I did burlap, which I rarely do, but I know it's a tiny decorative piece that won't get wet

Are you using thin tracing paper

I use the thin tracing/drawing paper you can get on big rolls on anazon. You can iron them, draw, trace, and they're very cheap. Anything will work though. I have no fancy supplies to my name!

Have you tried white landscape or blanket plant cover for transferring? Ink goes right thru it quickly.
