I absolutely love you folks, you are my “go to people”. I do sewing, spinning, weaving and all the different types of punching and hooking etc. People used to ask, won’t you be bored in retirement? I always say “heck no, it’s my job that gets in the way of my hobbies”.
I made my 9 fine adjustable by adding faucet washers on the needle. The inner diameter of the washer was a bit too large, so I wrapped the washer in blue painters tape. Pushing the needle through the hole of the washer, drove the painters tape into the hole, giving it just the amount of friction I needed to hold the washer in place while punching.
Candy Ribbon Hooking had a great idea for Oxford punches, just buy the longest needle and tiny rubber washers and now your one needle is adjustable to any loop length you desire!!!
