Well this is very cool. I'm a thread crocheter mostly, do a yarn project on rare occasion, and I didn't know anything about this. Great job explaining it all, I may have to try this.
Nice video. What happend with the acrylic yarn from Cameo? (Cameo, Inc. Orlando, Florida 32809) Or the yarn from American Dimensions, Inc? They were specialy made for ultra punch embroidery. It was brushable, color fast machine wash/dry, soft/plush. And 200 yards/183 meters ready to use... I can 't find them anymore? Are they still available in your country?! Greetings from the Netherlands
Any tips on how to join 2 ends of embroidery thread, like when you're running out of one length and need to start another? I have some short pieces to use up but not enough to feed the whole punch.

Unfortunately those would best be used for other projects! Any join in the thread could jam up the needle!
My yarn doesn't stay on the rug
