Great directions, very helpful from beginning to end. Thought that it would be more complicated, but with this video, it was easy and very time friendly. Thank you
I used this video to help me install a Bison cover, which seems identical to the BAKFlip. The instructions were terrible but this video helped a lot. Thanks!
I have a same cover but and it came with the truck. I did not have any idea how to open that cover after watching your video it help me alot thanks for your video
So a year ago I found your shower mold removal video after we bought our first home, resealed two showers. Now looking for a truck bed cover I find your video again, think it's a sign I better sub, you keep helping me out! :)
Question: you drilled into the sides of your truck. Does the hole go all the way through to the outside panel? And is there a seal for the piping attachment to your truck side panel? Also what size hole saw did you use? I am hesitant to drill into my new truck. Is this step necessary?
I drilled the holes in the rubber plugs in the truck bed with a 7/8" hole saw. The hole goes outside of the bed. You don't have to add the drain hoses but you may get a bit of moisture inside the truck bed.
I usto work 4 Toyota and put them in all the time and allso roll and lock covers thoes back flips are nice but thay are not water tight trust me I know
WeatherTech still beats bakflip covers! No wonder WeatherTech offers lifetime warranty on their bed cover compared to balflip 3year warranty cover, price=abput $150 more for weather tech, i checked out both before buying & hands down these are 2 best bed covers on the market but weather tech is still #1 & bak flip #2 & so onnn...
Called a local company the clown that answered the phone told me it take 4/6 hours for installation @ 160. An hour Plus 1199. For the cover… Shop around or get ripped off!

Made things much easier, thank you!
Excellent video. 10/10
Much appreciated!
Are the drain hole really needed? looks like a big hole to drill into your bed..
You could leave this step out but you will get some water in the bed if your truck is sitting in a rain storm.
My pickup already came with a bed cover, but recently the cover began to slide forwards and backwards. Somehow i cant get it to stay.
Sorry to hear that 🙁
Pro video, well done.
Thanks!
Thank you this was great
bedliner looks thick what brand is it?
It's a BakFlip.
You make this look so easy. I don’t even have a truck. But thank you 💎💎💎

Sorry to hear that, I get a bit of moisture in the truck bed near the tailgate after a storm but not a lot.

You still like this bed cover and have you had any problems?
Love the bed cover and have had no problems.
100 day warranty??? Lol, that's comforting.
Does the bed cover lock?
The bed cover doesn't lock but when you close the tailgate and lock it there is no access to the truck bed.
