I chose a Bak Revolver X4 for my 2019 Nissan Pro 4X. I've had it for a year now and I'm very happy with it. It looks and feels like a hard top, but when rolled up it doesn't block your rear window view and still give you full use of your truck bed.
She won’t talk about water leaks, she should. My brand new X4s, professionally installed had gaps from the rails in the bed front. It also does not seal the tailgate well. A ride through the car wash will make you think you don’t have a cover.
Heads up on the BAK Revolver series if you live in a very warm climate and the truck bed is exposed to severe temps over extended periods of time. In Texas and other extreme summer temp regions, the Revolver series has a well-documented history of the vinyl shrinking and peeling back from the edges after a 2-3 year period.
On the backflip MX4 cover , can you easily take just the cover off like the Extang Trifecta 2.0 in case you have to get a yard of topsoil loaded into your truck?
Stay away from ARE-I had two and on the second one had some clear coat issues that they wouldn’t warranty. Their “limited life time warranty “ states that you have to report it immediately .“ So they decided I didn’t report it soon enough. Im in the market for a new truck and they lost my business. Couldn’t find them with Better Business Bureau so I was left with a defective paint cap.
Ordered my Extang solid fold 2.0….. I noticed the website says “300 lbs. equally distributed” not 600 lbs? Can my wife and I roll out a mattress on it and sleep under the stars?

I have an older toyota tacoma truck, 2003. It has a bed liner that makes the sides of the bed smooth as it moves over the edge. There is nothing to attach the rails or clamps to. Is there any cover that will fit?
No. There is about an inch clearance when folded up, secured by the two struts. It also has solid rubberized bumpers along the top piece (when folded up) to protect the cab and rear window if it flexes too far over bumpy terrain.

I had a tri-fold Extang on my Ranger for 9 years ...still looked new.
Loved it for ease of folding and I could remove it by myself in 5 minutes.

Have an aluminum cover and it leaks like crazy. I’d suggest the soft cover.

Hi, have you found a hard tonneau cover that doesn't leak, maybe try our hard tonneau cover with a special spout that refuses to leak!
Only a fitted bed cap will not leak. I don't know of any tonneau cover that is absolutely water tight.

At the current moment, we do not have any covers to fit this truck but our manufacturing departments are working diligently to get some released!

Um, trucks have these things called "door mirrors". Check your owners manual for the location. 😆
A lot of newer trucks have rear cameras. Just leave it on while driving.
And not one of them was electrically operated.
