Just got an fx3 for my 2017 tundra… Seems like the tie-downs have to be removed from the rails. I was assuming the rails had to come off too. Thanks. Relocated rails don’t look too sturdy, so they’re useless anyway but this saves me a step.

You don’t need to take the rails off the truck for install.
