I would never buy from a company that offshores engineering. Not because there aren't great engineers overseas, but offshoring is a cost savings strategy, that's not the mentality that leads to quality hires.

That's 100% stupid! First off, rolls-royce, bentley, ferrari, and Lamborghini car 100% designed and engineered by non-americans. Secondly, Americans are not even the highest rated in engineering quality or Talent. Lastly, there are a number of low-cost countries, like india, from which the United States recruits top quality engineers.
