Just saw the Stellantis software plan and I'm out. It came time to replace my Ram 2500 and I am moving to Ford. Not interested in subscriptions on things that I have already purchased.
The worst part about Stellantis is how they hold dealers hostage for 50 question reviews that nobody wants to fill out and then withholding credit to dealers. The “unconnect” system hardly works right when trying to set up the customer. The tech support is always unhelpful saying basically tough luck. But then we get penalized for not completing connectivity.
Stellantis has done such a disservice to itself by not keeping the legendary Chrysler name and instantly recognizable Pentastar logo as the unifying name to represent all the brands of the company. Without a doubt the brands of Chrysler: Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram are incredibly successful and popular in North America. The euro brands of stellantis will never gain the success in North America like Chrysler has enjoyed since the dawn of the automobile.
You americans already killed so many brands. Pontiac, Holden, Saab, Oldsmobile and many more because of your terrible management. You weren't even able to make Opel profitable but PSA did instantly after buying it. Chrysler and the Pentastar logo are iconic only in the US. In Europe, Chrysler is only known because of the ugly PT Cruiser, and that's not good. I believe the french and italians will take care of your brands much better than you did.
Imagine making body-on-frame passenger cars in the early 2000s when the Italians already made the first monocoque car in 1922.. Yeah, americans shouldn't stick to making cars.
I had a Jeep Cherokee 2022 that had serious issues. No dealer was able to fix them and Stellantis didn't do anything. I sold it in less than 12 months after I got it (new)...
Hey guys! Thank you for terminating my lifetime warranty and for lying about trying to contact me! I cannot believe you guys did this to a loyal customer. My Jeep has always been maintained and repaired at a Jeep dealership ever since I've had the vehicle. I've had my Jeep in the dealership more times than I should have for repairs and recalls. Let alone the numerous maintenance checks and you guys have the audacity to state that I didn't follow the protocol for a powertrain inspection. It has been at the dealership more times than I can shake a fist for engine issues so exactly where is it that it didn't have an inspection done? I have all the records! Do I need to get an attorney?
Yeah their new story is going to be how they destroyed dodge....for an electronic dream that is about 10 years away to even begin...because they had someone tell them go electric and their desk jockeys said good idea. 😂

RAM trucks most reliable and capable trucks in the world, Jeeps most reliable and loved off-roaders in the world for years, both Chrysler Hemi and Pentastar engines have and still, winning awards every year and they put those engines on everything. Anyway, last I check both Fiat and Peugeot cars are among the most hated and unreliable cars in the world. So.. next time I see a Alfa Romeo Stelvio stuck in 2 inches of sand I’ll remember your comment. You see to me - that’s garbage
