Amen Brother, I just traded in my 2011 Ford F150 with a 5.0L Coyote V8 in it with 360 HP and 380 Ibs of Torque for a 2024 Nissan Titan with the 5.6L Endurance V8 in it with 400 HP and 413 Ibs of Torque and man its a beast and it sounds like a beast as well along with a really great warranty as well, the best part is no cylinder deactivation and no Auto stop start crap either.
@@CJColvin it feels good doesn’t it Brother? Welcome to the family. We’re in Virginia and I’m gonna turn TINY into an over landing monster. We plan to have Titan meet Ups on the 32 acre property out here if you’re in the area next year swing on by we would love to meet you and we can take our Titans out and explore the three national forest.
You have a great truck there! I have a 21 pro4x xd that I use mostly for towing my 7k travel trailer. This truck rides and handles very well and it really does a great job at towing. From May through Oct. we go camping just about every 2 weeks. Our longest trip this year was from Spokane, Wa to Rapid City, South Dakota. Ive used both at tires and ht. you will get the better mpgs with ht tires. While towing I get 7-9 and not towing, 17-19. I was so impressed with this truck I ended up buying a 22 frontier pro4x that I use for traveling, hunting and fishing, and running around. I like this truck equally as well.
@@lindaracicot7182 wow that is awesome. You got a Titan and a frontier. Yes I drive very slow and I’m averaging 19.5 miles per gallon. We’re gonna start over landing in it so I look forward to camping out of it.
The most underrated truck on the market. The only reason it’s going away is because of the government giving billions to Nissan to retool the Titan plant into an EV plant.
Bought a 2024 Titan Platinum Reserve in Feb and I love the truck! I bought a 2004 Titan and it was a good truck so I thought I would get this one because it has all the Bells and Whistles on it and it's a proven drive train and cost a Lot Less than the other brands. I've got 15K on it and not ONE problem!! and Hwy MPG is 18 to 21 MPG.
The diesels were awful but the V8 trucks have been pretty good and the lack of stupid technology like DOD or AFM is a good thing. Too bad it is the last year because they could update a few things and it would sell well because the big 3 have been smoking their own stash and want 80k for a similar truck with reliability issues.
I had a 21 Pro4 and it was great except for the clunky transmission. Not sure if they’ve fixed it yet but most of the recent videos I’ve seen on the 22-24 model it doesn’t appear they have. I’m considering purchasing another one beginning of 2025 simply because the value on them is so good compared to other brands
That’s great to hear. I think it’s hit or miss so hopefully you’re in the clear. It’s real noticeable on the down shift from 2nd to 1st like when approaching a stop light. Sometimes you’ll notice after you come to a stop you’ll feel a thud like someone bumped you from behind. It’s real weird. Look forward to seeing your progress on the truck
Have the exact same truck. Also Toyota guy and passed on the tundra. Kept my 2006 Tundra double cab though lol. Love everything except a small tranny lurch upon getting to a stop. It was pretty prevalent at around 300 miles but almost gone at 10k miles. Wondering about your experience.
@@HomesteadOverlandVirginia looking forward to it. The tranny lurch is well documented with xd and non xd 9 speed. I have a buddy with a Nissan tech source that says they are testing new logic for the tranny TSM. Otherwise, this beast is perfect! Love the uniqueness of our trucks.
