- In today's video we talk about Nissan being sued over the Titan XD pick up trucks. These diesel trucks had the wrong fuel pumps causing catastrophic engine failures and the company has knowledge of the error.
Lets discuss this in the comments.
Giveaway rules for the giveaway in this video are stated in the video.
@TKsGarage2
Wild. Those fuel pumps have been a problem for lots of mfrs. Bosch taking it in the butt....
same parts from same supplier
That sounds painful literally and figuratively 😂
Must be the Bosch cp-4 fuel pump. I have one of those in my 2012 Duramax and it’s a ticking time bomb.
If your fuel gauge starts getting wornky shut it down ASAP or get it home ! Its bronze particles collecting on the fuel sender unit ! Take the return fuel line off at the engine and tank then flush the line into a clear glass container ! Then only all the fuel pipes and lines need to be cleaned and the injectors will also be saved luckily !
At least the fuel pumps for the infamous 5.7 liter V8 diesels in my parents' 1979 and 1981 Oldsmobile diesels never failed.
I know s bunch of people that work at the Nissan plant in Ms they all informed me not to buy a Nissan, not going to say why but it's not good
Why Nissan let the French redesign there trucks was so stupid A Japanese name should be a Japanese product, not Oui Oui.
Oui oui merci 😂
Want to see my we-we? 😂
My 2017 Titan XD died on the interstate at 75 mph on Mothers day this year. Towed it to my local Nissan dealer and was told the crankshaft snapped in two and it needed a new motor. That quote was for $35K... About 2 months ago the dealership contacted me and offered to fix it for half of that first quote. Something is kind of fishy about the whole thing. Right after my motor blew, I reported it to the NHTB. Waiting to see what happens in the class action lawsuit..,.
Nissan’s quality has unfortunately gone downhill across all vehicle lines. Very sad these people forget they are making cars people put their families in!
I always liked the Titans. Too bad about this.
it is the end of the line for the titan. the titan diesel has always had problems.
People pay a markup and they want a refund? Nah just don’t overpay plain and simple
Heck yes they need to be held responsible. I had a 2017 ram Ecodiesel that blew up 1.5 years ago. I went out and bought a used Titan XD with Cummings in it. It just blew up two months ago. Now I have two trucks rendered uselessall over crap manufacturers.
The Titan has never really been on my radar.
Thanks for the video tk.
I hope Stellantis, Dodge and Ram gets their shit together...I'm on my 3rd new Ram Bighorn since 2007...my latest is a 2019 so I’ll be needing a new truck in a year or two…I also have a 2012 SRT Yellow Jacket....I used to be a Pontiac guy( before my trucks) and went to Mopar when Pontiac went out...Guess I'll stick with Mopar till they go out too!
Why don’t you hold on to your truck for like 10 years?
So when is the ram 5.7 litre class action lawsuit going to happen for engine failures, bad lifters and internal problems
Great info, thanks for the video . Love the giveaways , thats a win win for everyone.
Hyundai just recalled a bunch of bad fuel pumps in their N models. If you market a car as being track ready, it better have a good fuel pump
European fuel pumps are designed for liters not gallons
Love the dash cam...
I hate the fact that quality of Most manufactures have let everyone down. Manufacture over price there vehicles and give subpar quality for there products. We are tired of this, Money is tight for a lot of people for a lot a reason, with interest rates they way they are also, I'm not planning getting anything new anytime soon.
Great content brother!✊🏿
Nice... I will fully accept the giveaway
I would like that dash cam 👍🏾
Ford and gm have the same issues with the cp4 pumps and then trashing trashing engines
The 3rd day after purchase had 30,000miles at time lights went off an it kept popping from exhaust , at 45,000 fuel pump went out 65,000 both EGR valves now today at 112,000 reluctant level sensor got every light in it on
All i can say is the view out the rear widow is hilarious TK 🦮 style 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
it seems all the manufactures are demanufacturing so the car have all kind of problems or blow up as soon as the warranty is over, Toyota used to last forever now they don't 😢
Love the video's keep it going 😊
😎 a dash cam would be dope
Great show
nice dash cam
I own 5 vehicles ! Not one has anything made by bosch !
Zero percent chance that's true unless they are all pre 1980s. 😂😂😂
My dash cam just borked itself. So fingers crossed.
Nice background, TK.
Do you like Doggie Style?😅
I could use a dash cam with all the crazy drivers in Atl Ga.
I'd love a dash cam!
It appears only amateurs are making vehicles now, it's become very hard to find a will made vehicle you can trust.
The fact is that these automotive manufacturers put one cheap part and it affects the whole car . to the total anialation of the car . just look at the takata air bags that still have yet to be installed on every car ! They play the time game of cars dying before people do !
2016 owner here. Biggest piece of shit truck I’ve ever owned. I’ve already put 8k in repairs in four years for all kinds of shit. And I’m still dealing with dpf issues atm. Selling this pos soon if someone will actually buy it. Nissan will never have my business again.
Great job
at least Datsun still ok
Does Datsun still exist? 😂
I owned a 2011 Nissan Sentra, that car was a pile of 💩. Cured me of ever wanting to purchase another Nissan.
Next to the firing line Nissan
Why is it that nobody seems to be able to build a vehicle that is not going to grenade! Give me the old stuff that lasts forever!!
That truck has a 9k transmission. You can't rebuild. It has to be bought new
I am lost for words that this could even be cleared through the engineering side. I would defiantly sue and this could actually start a, call it dominoes dropping effect across the auto market. I understand making money but what has the world come to as for making a quality product that people will want to buy again. Stop cutting corners and make reliable products and you just might stay profitable and in business for years to come.
Yo yo. You'd think these companies would be smart, but they're not, they're not. I'd expect changes very soon, and very rapidly if I were them.
I have a 2019 titan pro-4x and im having the same problems, took it to the dealer they replaced both fuel pumps yes 2 pumps, fuel pump control module, crank sensor, new optima battery and mass air flow sensor, after all that computer reset . Truck lasted 2 weeks running and now wont start again! 😢should i burn this truck? Pure garbage and the dealer is even worse.
Nissan should be have a lawsuit against them.
A potential win for the Titans in TN? Naw...WHAT?!? 😂😂😂
totally different point of view
@Tk is talking about the lawsuit and the owners getting screwed.....check out the name of the business through the rear window....doggy style, maybe its my warped sense of humour or Tk wanted to get a point across without physically saying it😂😂😂😂
Yes
Does anyone make quality anymore?
It's all about maximizing profits at the expense of quality.
Good job
I use to have a 1993 Altima bulletproof now it’s all junk !!
Everything seems to be overpriced and junk. What’s left buy?
Nissan is frontier. That’s it. Everything else is crap.
Go stick to Stellantis. They haven’t made them for years. They are Cummins. And Bosch. Nothing to do with Nissan. Bunch of crap. They sold 3. They sucked. Cummins SUCKS.
Sweeeet GAW! Come for the car news and stay for the give-a-way! Just saw I was unsubbed for TK2. grrrrrrr
