I have a Titan XD Cummins as well. All you have to do is leave your foot on the brake and press the start button. Leave your foot on the brake and you will see the dash tell you to do that while the engine is "warming" with the glow plugs. Then after it starts of course you can take your foot off the brake. No need to keep cycling the ignition on and off.
@Tssimpson9 It's a 2016 with 124,000 miles. I bought it with 70k, one owner, and it runs great! I think maintenance is the most important! Keep your oil fresh, less than 10k miles. Tune ups and fuel filters replacement are important. I tow occasionally but I don't dog it. I want to delete it one day so I don't have to worry about the DEF system because that's their weakest link. Hope this helps. Did you buy one?
@@UnforgivenStar I did! I have the 2018 bought with 82k miles. Did the delete and Def. Its actually in the shop today to get the FASS bypass system installed. Im trying to get rid of the weak links. Ill let you know how it runs with the FASS.
I have the exact same one you have, its been negative temps and it fires right up, just hit 90k and i love this truck. I have a 6 inch lift with 35s and its a beast
4x5 in the snow at 40-42 mph is a tank. 2017 PR with 91k mikes. Mine is Pure stock, plenty for me, love the gearing of the Aisin trans too, I barely used the big brakes on it cuz I don’t need to. Of course I hammer it now and then to knock cobwebs off, only 2 major issues, both sensors (coolant level sensor and the turbo actuator went out at 70k) both issues had me in 45 mph limo mode for a week… both were covered by Nissan… I love my truck and would keep forever, but the parts availability scares me. Cheers to all titan xd drivers!
Absolutely been a great truck, It's a 2016 with 124,000 miles. I bought it with 75k, one owner, and it runs great! I think maintenance is the most important! Keep your oil fresh, less than 10k miles. I know it's been a while since you commented, but I'm an owner of a 16 PR with 113k miles and I absolutely love my truck. It's bone stock atm but won't be for very much longer. I think if you buy a well-maintained truck and keep it that way, it will be reliable for years to come. Parts availability is my biggest issue with it so far, but I've never not been able to get what I needed. The main problem for now is you can usually find parts but you don't have a lot of choice. That could change in the coming years though, so idk

I just press a button from my nice warm house. Lol. There ain’t no need to freeze your ass off if you don’t have too. All cycling the key like that does is drain your battery.

Nice video. I have a 2017 XD with a Cummins. Love it.

@@Tssimpson9 How is it with the FASS System?
Have a 16 XD Cummins and live in White House, Tn. During that week of cold and snow I had zero issues.
Are you enjoying yours? I think this is such an under-rated truck.

Could you make more videos of your truck? Been on the fence of getting one of the Nissan cummins for a while!
Yes I will try and do a video this week. Check back soon.
They’re great trucks when deleted
Any turbo issues or anything?
What tires are you running? I still have the stock generals on mine and it’s time for a new set.
