I love my Tundra TRD Off Road limited Crew ‘17. No problems in 33k miles. This is an old school truck, looks great, drives well. This is my favorite vehicle. It is used for vacations, hauling, and horse shows. I like all trucks but am satisfied with my choice. I am always taking the Tundra whenever I can. My daily driver is a BMW X5. That drives better, but the Tundra is much more useable. When the X5 reaches its end, I will be keeping the Tundra as a daily driver.
Guys, I appreciate you taking the time out to review these trucks. I don't understand the logic in your review. The Tundra is going on 10+ years without a major refresh, has a smaller engine, less horse power, less gears in the transmission, no locking diff, less miles per gallon, less features and functions, Shorter warranty period, The only thing more in this Tundra is its price. I'm afraid to see how you 2 would do a comparison between an iPhone 4 vs a Samsung S20. Its not emotional appeal, its brand bias.
Techical fact......No truck can ever be useful offroad unless it has either a fake hoodscoop and / or orange painted tow hooks! And let's not forget the air intake snorkel for when you drive your 65k truck into muddy water up to the windshield!
Excuse my bad English folks. I purchase a brand new Titan sv 2017. At 17000 kilometres, the engine begin knocking. At 24000 kilometres, in June 2019, Nissan replace my motor (short block). Now this month at 35000 kilometres my motor knocking again. It is always the cylinder number 7 who is problematic. Real epidemic trouble. In my small town we are 3/3 with this trouble. On Facebook pages, I’ve seen A LOT of cases, I see guys who are on third motor on 2018 model. Also see people with this problem on 2019 model (Titan, armada.) Nissan seems to don’t have a clue about this problem. The 7 speed transmission on 16-19’ model doesn’t works well too, and seems to be change very often . Long story short, run for your life, you can see a video of my titan knocking on my profile. I swear to god, I don’t beat the truck at all really lite works sometimes.
That's some bad luck I've owned 2 titans both hit 300k no issues My frontier was an 07 with a 6 spd mnl and hit 250k no problems Nissan all day for this guy
Jus H I purchase a brand new Frontier in 2009, very happy with it, both of your Titan probably be 2015 and older ...? The first generation seems bulletproof, 2016 and newer seems fragile
You get so much more for off-roading with the Nissan Titan Pro-4X. It provides off-roading tech and safety features that the Toyota Tundra TRD Pro doesn’t even begin to compete with.
I wish the tundra had more of the bells and whistles than some of the other trucks but I had an 08 XSP and sold it when it had 220,000 miles and now I have a 2016 tundra xsp-x with 160,000 miles. Both have never let me down and I drive 40k miles a year. They are great trucks and I wouldn’t have anything else. I also have a 2000 4Runner with 113k miles and it’s been awesome as well. Can’t go wrong with Toyota!
I was looking at both the 2020 Tundra and the 2020 Titan. Drove both several times and researched quite a bit. I like the storage and cleaver things like the seats, truck bed design, etc. of the Titan, but the Tundra felt more solid and better built. Also, I prefer the port injection reliability of the Toyota 5.7 over the Titan's direct injection. And finally, I do NOT trust JATCO transmissions; so when Titan put a unproven 9 speed JATCO in the Titan, it gave me great concern. Finally, with Nissan circling the drain in the market, I chose the Tundra.
I purchased the Titan for my business as a write off, I love the amenities more than the aged interior of the Tundra. The value was undeniable, and you both (reviewers) are more partial to the Tundra. No bedlining, no foldaway step to get in the bed. The Tundra holds it's value, but idk, it's written off as a depreciating asset, or capital tool (whatever your CPA thinks is best). Titan is underrated simply because of Tundra being in the segment for so long, thats it. BTW, RAM trucks are trash anyway, the service centers can never figure what's wrong with them. The Titan will outlast the Ram 1500 with the HEMI. The paint on Nissan is the only strike I would have against it.
Bought the Tundra TSS Off road (Gulf states option) it came with spray on Berliner, 20” with aggressive wheels and other cool stuff. Much more comfortable than the Nissan on long distance driving. I also like the auto-dim rear view mirror and headlights. I leave it on tow/haul and it will rocket off a stop sign faster than Nissan. I have also towed a fully loaded 6x12 uhaul trailer from San Antonio to Hampton Va. with absolutely no issues with handling or through the mountains. 2nd week of owning it, had to rescue a developer who drove 35 yards into caleche. Easy-peasy! Also the double cab has a full drop rear glass and best of all, Nissans rust. I haven’t seen a rusty Tundra in NYS yet. We have gotten as much as 23mpg.
No proper locking differential is huge off-road... I don't care what shocks it has. The tundra is near the bottom if you are actually going to take your rig "off-road"
Ok we looked at both trucks before we bought the titan. Honestly hands down best truck I want to drive. Besides the fact that Nissan is less expensive and I love that my lower back does not hurt when riding or driving in the titan. Now is Tundra a bad truck no but we bought a new 19 for under the price of a used tundra. In my book Nissan will get it for the win.
Lockable storage in the rear on the Titan and a pass through for a rifle/shotgun barrel. Not surprisingly...something most reviewers with fuzzy zip up sweaters don't notice.
Nice video. I own a platinum Tundra after two f150s. I love it Reliable. Comfortable. Interesting comments about the TRD dual exhaust. I was going to put one on my truck but was worried about the noise.
If you're someone who doesn't mind a bit of drone, it sounds awesome, and we'd definitely recommend it! But just know that it'll always be there in some capacity. Definitely a preference thing. Thanks for watching!
The TRD exhaust is one of the most popular aftermarket mods. I was debating between the Platinum and the TRD Pro, I went with the TRD Pro, but if I didn’t I was going to add the exhaust immediately.
Trebz How is the exhaust? Mine just arrived today from Sparks parts. Black tip- I will be painting the pipes with some high heat rustoleum this weekend and putting it on next week
My truck/SUV ownership has ran the gambit of the most of the top auto makers. Ive had few Fords, a Dodge (when it was still just Dodge), a Chevy and a few Nissans. Never had a Toyota but a couple of close friends have swore by them for years and I will agree they are dependable trucks that give great service and insane resale value (all of which I'm reminded of constantly). However, after looking at all the brands in the half-ton market over the past 6 months, I pulled the trigger on a Pro 4x Titan last week and I couldn't be happier. In my humble opinion, most manufacturers are setup to run about the same nowadays. As long as you take care of the truck, it will "generally" take of you (a horror story can be found for each brand if you look hard enough). For me it came down to personal preference and the deal. I was already in a Frontier, great midsized truck, and was able to swing a better deal staying with Nissan than switching to another brand. I also feel like I got much more up front, for less money, than a "comparable" Ford, Chevy, Ram or Toyota. Especially in the areas I was concerned with (creatures comforts, warranty, capability and price).
I traded my Tundra for the Titan ...I have owned them all of the big 3 and my Titan the best truck I have ever own......I'll buy an..other Nissan pro 4X.....I can say this because I owned them......My gas mileage is way better..My Tundra I traded rattled ,road noise..air leaks..MY first Tundra and my last.....I think the Titan is the best truck made in America.....hands down......
You need to know the heritage tundra shares an engineering you can only find in land cruiser And therefore you’ll be satisfied knowing the great product Toyota brings on the table I never owned before a Toyota and before I got my tundra I owned a lot of Chrysler’s and jeeps and I love What jeeps are having overland and trailhawk trims until I had a ram truck I felt the need to upgrade and researched so much I was looking for a tundra trd pro at the end I ended up with a trd off road 1794 which I love to dead I put it simple Toyota it’s a top dog in the industry has a top place as manufacturer if you learn it’s among the best 3 in the world as a brand now you know what you getting I admit ford and gmc are great too but they lack in what the Toyota brings it’s a reliable product with bulletproof qualities
And yet the Titan has a locking rear diff and the Tundra doesn't. Strange. I'm not saying it is better for just that reason, but a simple feature like locking diff can be amazing in off road situations where you are off camber and one wheel is in the air. It's on the land crusier. Isn't it even on the Lexus GX series?
The Tundra and Land Cruiser have nothing in common but the motor, and the motor is the worst part about the Land Cruiser. A made in Japan global vehicle is nothing like a just-for-North America pickup truck.
Step up the game hmmm 🤔 who else builds a 3/4 ton truck and sells it for the price of a 1/2 ton? Who else builds a low maintenance million mile capable V8 gas engine truck, step up the game they still outsell the Nissan
@@jeromep3182 you do know that the million mile truck was a 4.7l timing belt engine right not the 5.7 chain driven. 5.7l motors are trash. Most Ford, dodge and gm trucks don't make up to those miles because they are work horses not a treadmill truck. Put those tundra on a ranch that has to tow on a daily basis its be 100k motors explosion. 20 years tech at Toyota and no mechanics here and a few other Toyota dealership mechanics around here say they will never own a tundra or tacoma. Reliability is there but crash safety is the issue. They say they seen a few front end collisions around 40mph where the dash was pushed back 15 inches into the driver and passenger where there knees and shin were blow out. Reliable is good if your looking for a treadmill truck but don't get into a accident you just might wish you never bought one
I would and probably going to go with Nissan. Tundra is dated. Doesn't have useful tow ratings and still lacks a rear locker. That titan is far more capable than that 15 year old tundra
I like both truck but I chose the Tundra TRD PRO. Why? There were still questions about issues with the Titan which made me pick the Tundra. Couldn't find many people with extensive miles on the Titan to verify if it would compete with the Tundra on Longevity. HOwever, I really like the Titan too....it would definitely be my second choice especially if they offer the incentives on it that were on the 2019 Titan. By the way the exhaust has never go old for me yet on my TRD PRO love it.
Actually what is interesting is that surveys have shown that the Tundra is the most expensive half-ton pickup truck to own since owners spend so much more money on gas than any other truck, despite the fact that it spent less time in the shop. In other words, any money you save on maintenance and repairs you lose at the pump with the Tundra.
Would like to see them in the snow offroading in bad conditions. Both are good trucks, whatever suits your needs. Nissan has done well with their redesign...watch out gm...they are coming for ya
This review overall gives me a Toyota bias vibe which really is hard to criticize when the Toyota rep is great but in today's world tech and value they didn't really mention that at all for example stereo sound system, camera systems, or steering wheel amenities. Also that's a TRD pro why not compare it to a "TRD offroad" but yeah that's what I mean
Bought a 2023 titan xd . It is by far the highest quality fit and finish truck I’ve ever had. Disappointed they won’t be available when it’s time for another
Part of what makes the Tundra look larger than the Titan, from the front, is how high the top of the windshield is on the Tundra. The Titan, the sheetmetal came down farther in the front. Depending on the seating position, I wonder how this would play into visibility at traffic lights. Would you have to lean forward in the Titan to see the lights overhead?
I am happy with my 2021 Titan I thought I've never owned one Ive always had a ford for the last 15 20 years. Ill l see how it does I'll be honest I don't like the MPG I'm getting at . the Titan feels like if it's turbo charge or something lol (I don't know what that feels like either) the power its always there I don't know if I like that yet 🙂😁 planning to enjoy it thoug cheers!
The Tundra is more " AMERICAN " made, designed and sourced than any other half ton truck ( all Tundras made in San Antonio Texas also ), however it is owned by a Japanese company ultimately. I own a 2016 Platinum Tundra, did my homework before purchase, was very surprised to learn it was like a virtual tie for " AMERICAN " made with only the F-150, which in rear seat comfort was not even close. Then Reliability, it had to be the Tundra. I do like the Titan look, though many don't. The dual exhaust is wonderful and nothing cruising on highway, and I'm 57 yo, you guys are way to young to even think of the exhaust sound, you want to hear what you bought 😀. Nice review, thanks guys.👍
lawrence fitzgerald , That is nice to know. I have always liked the Titan. In my case I needed the largest back seat for my Son’s needs. Was looking at Ram Mega Cab, until I learned,at that time, none were even made here. Thanks for info.
@@MrInzombia.... Designed here, parts sourced here, and employing many "AMERICAN WORKERS "to build them. I don't call that crap. What i do call CRAP is American truck companies building and or sourcing their trucks parts from other countries. Plus a Tundra will outlast, and resell better than anything built by the Big Three "American" truck companies, the truly sad truth. Do your homework next time you buy one of your" American " made trucks. I did say, ultimately, the company is Japanese owned, but it does an awful lot for the American workforce in many ways. I'd say San Antonio ,Texas, is probably pretty pleased with the Tundra plant located there.
After doing a ton of research when recently looking for a new truck, I started off wanting a diesel Ram (repair costs REAL high), looked at Titans (not many on the road At All), the diesel Titans are a real mess, and ended up with a Tundra with the 5.7 and lots of goodies on it. LOVE the truck, and if you don't like aftermarket parts, get something else. =) The Tundras are the Jeeps of the aftermarket world and man, the engine really sounds great with some shorties on it! Can't wait to sort out the rest starting with an open CAI.
Dave R I don’t care about interiors though. Give me a radio and ac/heater and that’s all you need. If someone is complaining about interior then they can go get a Cadillac or Lincoln. Less is more sometimes and simplicity IMO is always better. Too much technology will ultimately break.
100% agree. When I bought my Kia with all the new tech at the dealership they pushed the warranty hard and mentioned that all the tech is bound to go bad in any new car.
9:24 well, driving straight and cornering are two very different things and will induce very different strategics within the TC. Pointless to compare apples and oranges. I've driven non of these trucks (we don't have them over here), but taking into acount that Nissan builds some of the best offroaders and arguably the one with the best TC anywhere to be found (Y62), I would assume they'd nail it in the Titan.
I REALLY LIKE THE TITAN THE TUDRA NEEDS A UPDATE ! I JUST wish THEY would UPDATE the FRONTIER like the NEW TITAN and I'd Buy the FRONTIER LOADED (more for less)
i own, the 2018 titan pro x. is a dream truck. has all the great thins expected from a full size truck, with the modernity of a 21 century luxury car. for me a vehicle is made to serve the user, toyota thinks that the buyer need to serve their trucks. maybe that is the case in africa or third wolrd countries. but here a 10 year old truck is just a liability, junker. i want fuel eficiency performance and overall driveavility. the Titan 4 Pro X is a really big GTR that is happy to do 60 miles on poor dirt road, or 100 mph in a bumpy highway. the tundra trd pro is just a hard riding prerunner for jumpimg sand dunes in baja california. Titan's 2020 9 speed transmision gives better MPG. Because of Toyota's old 6 speed, tundra has the wost MPG. their excuse is relability, but tru is profit.
I hate road noise. My 2010 Silverado is so loud. I’m on the fence about what 1/2 ton to purchase. In this video, the Tundra was much louder inside riding on the back roads (before the rear window was opened). The Tundra was definitely taller next to the Titan. I agree, aftermarket options abound for the Tundra. I dislike the light steering on the Toyota. There’s a pedal commander for the Titan. That would help with throttle/transmission response.
You can still get the Titan as shown in this video in 2023. Toyota radically redesigned the Tundra now and I like it a lot less. For those wishing they could still get the old school Tundra with the V8, the Titan is the closest you will get. Also, the Titan Pro4x is now by far the most bang for your buck among trucks. You get one fully loaded for $10-15k less than upper level Fords or comparable Toyotas.

@@jacobpoullath3478 I love the its new looks and features but I'm just concerned its long-term reliability. Thank you for the feedback sir:)
@@won01419 i think the big 3 have less reliability my 2018 f150 transmission started going at 23k miles and they wouldnt fix it. Atleast with nissan you get 100000mile warranty bumper to bumper and my dealer offers 1000000 mile powertrain warranty. Plenty of dealers do it and they have great deals on them as well. I wouldnt really worry too much especially with the warranty you get. Every manufacture has lemons and i think theyre all pretty solid. I honestly think nissan and toyota will outlast all the others in reliability.
FYI, Nissan was regular top contender for Paris-Dakar Rally. Toyota didn't even come close till they entered Baja 1000. Both are very very good trucks at the price - you will NOT regret getting either.
Can't take a truck reviewer seriously unless he has a full beard and a beer belly...lol.
I purchased a 2024 titan pro4x very happy with it
I didnt see any off roading? Everything you did there can be done on a Prius.
Your 100% on that!
I drove a tundra 2015 4.6 the other day trying to change my Titan 2015 and I just fall in love with my truck again🤩 I haven't drive the 5.7 but I'm looking forward...but right now my vote it's for the TITAN 💪 so under rated.....you have to drive it ...
Titan Pro-4X all day
I love my Tundra TRD Off Road limited Crew ‘17.
Surprised they repaired it at all. They did me crappy on my Frontier...I’ll never buy another Nissan
That's some bad luck
I've owned 2 titans both hit 300k no issues
My frontier was an 07 with a 6 spd mnl and hit 250k no problems
Nissan all day for this guy
Jus H I purchase a brand new Frontier in 2009, very happy with it, both of your Titan probably be 2015 and older ...? The first generation seems bulletproof, 2016 and newer seems fragile
I'm going Titan. Love it.
Good review, cant wait to trade in my bullet proof 17 titan for the new hottie titan!!
I always feel like most people find a way to underrate NISSAN TITIAN
I like the Titan more. The 5.6 has been around for longer than the Toyota’s engine believe it or not.
Regis Riley The current 5.6 endurance has actually been re-engineered since its last debut. The 5.7 in the Tundra has been around longer.
Lie
But are they getting one million miles yet?
@@robertkayler6292 you keep saying that lol the 5.7 isn't the million mile motor. The 4.6l is
"The steering is heavy!"
Well, yeah it's truck ffs! People should stop being whiny sissies for once.
I agree! PUSSIES!
I don't think the TRD exhaust is annoying at all, it's perfect
You guys are ridiculous. You touted the Titan in every category over the Tundra and yet you choose the Tundra. Last time I watch your channel.
I agree
It doesn't matter if the Titan was actually better, the tundra was "cooler" lmfaaooo ridiculous
This new titan doesnt have JATCO it has a mercedes 9G-Tronic. according to wikipedia
Josue Zuniga is 9g tronik better?
That exhaust note from the TRD never gets old! Lol I prefer the Tundra.
i'd rather get the Titan.
Kinda agree. Everybody I’ve known with a tundra has major frame rot, heck they get worse than a chevy.
I bought a 20221 titan pro4x loaded with everythg. Luv my truck . Traded in a 2019 maxima Sr. Do not miss it . Happy everything I get in my truck.
Titan the real underdog!
Tundra has Fox shocks and a lift in the front. More comparable to a Rebel. While the Titan is more comparable to a F150 FX4.
Yes, I was going to say the Pro 4x is comparable to a Standard Tundra TRD not the Pro.
No proper locking differential is huge off-road... I don't care what shocks it has. The tundra is near the bottom if you are actually going to take your rig "off-road"
Pro4x has bilsteins and a rear locker
Rear locker alone will drag the pro4x through more than the trd. The pro4x also comes with an inch taller tire.
The Tundra Trd pro has nothing on that Titan off road....nothing.
It’s isn’t as noticeable as the reviewer states it is. Its only a drone if you have your foot is on the gas pedal constantly.
Pulling GUARD I love the exhaust. I have no regrets, and I doubt that you will either.
Titan all the way
I have a TItan XD Pro4X and its been a awesome truck
Lol NO
🤣 He said "emotional appeal" while panning the camera over a plastic dash. You can sense his frustration with the out dated dinosaur tundra.
You need to know the heritage tundra shares an engineering you can only find in land cruiser
And therefore you’ll be satisfied knowing the great product Toyota brings on the table I never owned before a Toyota and before I got my tundra I owned a lot of Chrysler’s and jeeps and I love What jeeps are having overland and trailhawk trims until I had a ram truck I felt the need to upgrade and researched so much I was looking for a tundra trd pro at the end I ended up with a trd off road 1794 which I love to dead I put it simple Toyota it’s a top dog in the industry has a top place as manufacturer if you learn it’s among the best 3 in the world as a brand now you know what you getting I admit ford and gmc are great too but they lack in what the Toyota brings it’s a reliable product with bulletproof qualities
And yet the Titan has a locking rear diff and the Tundra doesn't. Strange. I'm not saying it is better for just that reason, but a simple feature like locking diff can be amazing in off road situations where you are off camber and one wheel is in the air.
It's on the land crusier. Isn't it even on the Lexus GX series?
and yet the land cruiser has a fully boxed frame and the tundra does not.
The Tundra and Land Cruiser have nothing in common but the motor, and the motor is the worst part about the Land Cruiser. A made in Japan global vehicle is nothing like a just-for-North America pickup truck.
Toyota needs to step their game up with the tundra.
They are.
why need to step up their game when their truck can outlast everyone else?
Step up the game hmmm 🤔 who else builds a 3/4 ton truck and sells it for the price of a 1/2 ton? Who else builds a low maintenance million mile capable V8 gas engine truck, step up the game they still outsell the Nissan
I'm a trunda fan and owner just wish Toyota would come out with a trunda HD or up it's payload a little bit
Lol sure buddy! Each to its own
Sooooo, do a real offroad test and watch the Tundra lack in comparison. The Titans are very well made trucks.....
That's exactly how I feel!🤦🏽♂️
My money was spent on the 2020 tundra, better return when you go to sell and my Toyota's require little to no repairs
Do you buy a truck to drive or to constantly resell every two years? Lol
Travelin' Ted.my 2008 tundra still going strong 650 k miles cero problems only reg. Maintenance nothing from Detroit do that.
I just seen tundra being loaded on a flat bed towtruck haha keep telling yourself that!
@@ramiroescamilla7263
That's not my point. I gave your comment a 'like' anyways.
I can see that nothing real made you choosing Tundra over Titan .. it is just kind of emotional judgment ! 😊
AKA meat riding toyota like most of them
This review overall gives me a Toyota bias vibe which really is hard to criticize when the Toyota rep is great but in today's world tech and value they didn't really mention that at all for example stereo sound system, camera systems, or steering wheel amenities. Also that's a TRD pro why not compare it to a "TRD offroad" but yeah that's what I mean
Trd pro vs pro 4x = apple to apple.
Bought a 2023 titan xd . It is by far the highest quality fit and finish truck I’ve ever had. Disappointed they won’t be available when it’s time for another
Good time to have a big V8 engine. Even cheaper gas coming soon.
This comment didn't age well lol
lol Sleepy Joe is in charge now #Sorry
It's interesting that the two of you had completely opposing opinions on the drives of the two trucks in comparison to each other.
That Tundra interior is barely more modern then a Frontier. That vertical plastic trim is Frontier all the way.
Pro4X all the way!
I had a flow fx installed on my 19P4X.. nice growl when wanted but very sutble when driving my daisy.
I know the Tundra is king but I like the Titan better. I too like easier steering. Good comparison.
You are wrong. The 5.7 liter normally aspirated motor with the TRD Pro exhaust sound never gets old!
So the Titan is better, but emotionally the Tundra is better....
DWB Titan is made in America too Tennessee and there’s a plant in Mississippi so yes there both made in USA compared to the big 3
lawrence fitzgerald , That is nice to know. I have always liked the Titan. In my case I needed the largest back seat for my Son’s needs. Was looking at Ram Mega Cab, until I learned,at that time, none were even made here. Thanks for info.
DWB Tundra is japanese period. Dont try that crap saying its American.
@@MrInzombia I'm from San Antonio. Tundra is born in here Texas.
Great review! This channel should get more subs!!
The comments about the tundras exterior being outdated, go get a Cadillac. It’s a truck.
Ohh dont worry your in the running with Chevy for the most boring interior its close
Dave R I don’t care about interiors though. Give me a radio and ac/heater and that’s all you need. If someone is complaining about interior then they can go get a Cadillac or Lincoln. Less is more sometimes and simplicity IMO is always better. Too much technology will ultimately break.
Ghillie Man Reviews not when you’re paying $60,000. If they keep it “Simple” they shouldn’t charge the same price.
So, what I hear being said is that the Nissan Titan is more of a luxury vehicle and the Toyota Tundra is more of a working vehicle. Is this accurate?
Close, but we'd say less working vehicle (at least in TRD trim) and more fun-time vehicle.
How is the turning radius compared to each other for the Titan and the tundra?
I REALLY LIKE THE TITAN THE TUDRA NEEDS A UPDATE ! I JUST wish THEY would UPDATE the FRONTIER like the NEW TITAN and I'd Buy the FRONTIER LOADED (more for less)
All new Frontier next year
Another guy who looks at gadgets and tech and bases his purchase on that! I’ll base mine on reliability
i own, the 2018 titan pro x. is a dream truck. has all the great thins expected from a full size truck, with the modernity of a 21 century luxury car. for me a vehicle is made to serve the user, toyota thinks that the buyer need to serve their trucks. maybe that is the case in africa or third wolrd countries. but here a 10 year old truck is just a liability, junker. i want fuel eficiency performance and overall driveavility. the Titan 4 Pro X is a really big GTR that is happy to do 60 miles on poor dirt road, or 100 mph in a bumpy highway. the tundra trd pro is just a hard riding prerunner for jumpimg sand dunes in baja california. Titan's 2020 9 speed transmision gives better MPG. Because of Toyota's old 6 speed, tundra has the wost MPG. their excuse is relability, but tru is profit.
I like the screen better in the Titan. Both good trucks though
Can the traction control on the titan be turned off?
Yes.
Toyota has done a great job marketing the Tundra TRD PRO. It does look much cooler than the Nissan, except the dashboard the Titan wins!
But ain’t the new Titan is built here in USA
Mine was built in Canton Mississippi
I hate road noise. My 2010 Silverado is so loud. I’m on the fence about what 1/2 ton to purchase.
In this video, the Tundra was much louder inside riding on the back roads (before the rear window was opened). The Tundra was definitely taller next to the Titan. I agree, aftermarket options abound for the Tundra. I dislike the light steering on the Toyota. There’s a pedal commander for the Titan. That would help with throttle/transmission response.
Great job guys! 👌🏻😎
Good review except for the off-road test. That’s where I’d take my Honda Civic to test traction control.
False your honda civic couldn't break traction even if you poured oil all over the tires
I wish Honda made a full size truck, I’d buy it in a heartbeat
On the next show, we will take a Corolla and a Sentra off road and let you know which one we like best 👍🏻
:D :D
Tundra All Day, Everyday... Just a better built truck.. Best, most bad ass 1/2 ton the road.
tundra has wost fit and finish interior
Nah... I'll take the Titan.
Do yourself a favor skip this and go watch TFL on the Nissan Titan or Toyota Tundra.
Lies the exhaust never gets old lol
And then there's Reliability.........Need anymore be said?
The Nissan V8 is bulletproof.
structurally, tundra is getting way too old. Titan is a better choice. I'm excited to see Toyota's offering for 2021-2022
The pro-4x has a locking differential in the Toyota doesn't
Yes very true, however most people won't even put these $60k trucks in 4x4..
