I’m waiting on my ESC to come tomorrow. Capra is in pieces. Hope I can figure out the ESC and Flysky receiver install along with the dig servo. I’ve been watching as many videos as I can find to help with this upgrade.
A LP or Low Profile servo is the same length and width as a standard servo. But it’s half a deep. Mini is small in all dimensions, and. Micro is small than the mini.
@@HobbyDrop Thank you! The only reason I’ve asked is because I’ve just ordered a Vader skid, and I also have to replace my dig servo, so I’m looking for the best option with the least hassle!
No bro you didn’t do anything wrong, the spacers supplied are not thick enough. I’m in the process of installing it right now and encountering the same problem. Directions are horrible, hardware doesn’t match what the instructions say what supposed to come with the kit. I have it figured out now with some creative thinking and the help of your video. This skid better perform after all these stupid issues.
Haha alright that makes me feel better! Well I’m glad to hear the video helped at least a little cause it is super dumb! I have loved it tho, no problems other than the install 😂
Very helpful. That old white 3d print looks like my model.
Glad it helped! Haha no way, is it really?? If so, well done. It was designed very nicely!

That’s exciting! I have to look up videos on setting up my receiver every time too! Haha hopefully this video helps with the dig!

Ohhh dang, I didn’t realize there were so many different options!
Do you think a full size low profile servo would’ve fitted better?
Yeah I’m sure it would have. But after the initial fuss I never had an issue with any part of it 👍🏼

@@Real_rescuer goootcha. Yeah man I always have a stock servo laying around so it’s nice to drop that in a not deal with the weaker micro servos.
@@HobbyDrop Thank you for providing a good video, I’m looking forward to giving it a go myself
Nice bench work dude 👍
Haha thanks man, I’ve got a lot of stuff I still need to design a spot for!
Donde comprar el Vader Skip en Europa?
The dig parts come with the spektrum servo that they tell you to use in the manual. And sadly it’s the only way to get it.
Not printed skid, it is delrin material.
Ahhh makes sense why it’s so much stronger!
👍👍
