An I really like the axles you can make them portals that's what I didn't do I f9 Currie offset portal axles Capra axles and now I have to get me a straight set now they are built great my friend
45mm turnbuckle works perfectly on the front uppers. It allows you to get full compression and lower cg. Nice choice on the shocks and yeah the 540 is big as you can go,unless you flip the skid. That will mess up the cg. I have one with all axial. Now I'm getting some trx4 shocks.
Im just building the same chassis so these tips are great thanks. I have both 540 and 550 motors so I will ise the 540 as recommended. I also don't like those weird top links. Im looking for an alternative even if I have to go longer. Off to watch part 3 to see how you complate the build, thanks again
It is not better, in the part 3 of the series you will see that I had to replaced those links and use standard ones, thank you for watching friend, please subscribe 😃👍
Sorry for my late response friend, there are the ones you need: www.injora.com/products/injora-lcg-carbon-fiber-chassis-kit-frame-girder-for-axial-scx10-scx10-ii-90046?variant=40430275657776
@@thestuff6102 sorry i didn’t mean axles i meant drive shaft 🙄yea ive switched to normal 4 link style links. I have tigged a shaft for now but it pops out occasionally. It seems on most shafts the cv and the female ends are quite long.

Best thing u can do for that rig is get rid of those crazy z bent links and replace them with straight links.. I have 2 of those injora chassis builds , they are by far my favorite for the money spent !
Use silicone around the cables after u run them in the box

the C clip on the axle is what holds the pinion depth setting. without it you may get some extra gear wear and drag.
Thanks

Man that thing is sweet. I got a scx10 chassis coming as well as a 2sp transmission and 1080 esc. I like the receiver box thats a great idea

Is there a front axle that works straight from the get go without modification?
I don’t think there is one, you will have to play with the links regardless what axles you get
Thank you for watching friend

Looks like a knockoff of the vanquish Currie axles
Agree 😂 thank you for watching friend

Thank you Eric, right now I am doing exactly that for my final episode of this series, are you using a 540 or a 550 can?
ditto.....
What length links did you replace them with?
Unless your planning to chop the front of the frame off those links are wrong . That is the worst approach angle I've ever seen..
Go with belt driveway smoother
Thank you for your advise friend
I would have learned something, but I can't understand a single thing you're saying.
Thank you for the feedback, take care
