    Thank you so much for this series. I'm about to go through this same build process after I purchased a used and very very abused SCX10.2 that I'm now rebuilding. Thank you thank you thank you

    You have to customize a lot of this stuff and Drilling and tapping and doing all kinds of different work

    • @thestuff6102
      @thestuff6102  Год назад

      Agree!! A lot of customization is require, that is was I found it a fun building project

  • @Dozern90
    @Dozern90 Год назад +2

    Hehe you ended up with the same problem everyone has with the Injora chassi. The damn front link assembly.
    I ended up replacing both the lowers and the uppers to get full articulation and a positive castor angle.

    • @thestuff6102
      @thestuff6102  Год назад

      I am thinking to do the same thing, what length did you use?
      Thank you for watching friend

    • @Dozern90
      @Dozern90 Год назад +1

      @@thestuff6102 I ended up trying lots of different solutions and they wont necessarily work for your axels.
      But the lowers are Redcat panhard's with some bendt ends and the uppers are from a trx4 again with bendt ends.

      45009 RER11352 Panhard Bar (53mm)
      RedCat - RER11352
      49173 Yeah Racing Steering & Suspension Link Set TRX-4
      Yeah Racing - TRX4-070
      And the ends are just mix of things that either came with this or some other failed attempt at getting this to work :)

      🤔 I think I’ll start the Treal and error process 😵‍💫

      I don't have any trouble with the front links on mine. The suspension on my injora/powerhobby chassis works great.

    • @Dozern90
      @Dozern90 Год назад

      @@rc-daily it really comes down to axle choise. Some work better then others.

  • @rc-daily

    You can also flip the transmission around to sit the motor on the other side and to the rear

    • @thestuff6102
      @thestuff6102  Год назад +1

      True, but then the motor blocks the rear links travel

    • @rc-daily
      @rc-daily Год назад +1

      The Stuff RC I've got the trans flipped around on a few 10.2 builds and I don't think the rear links touch but then again these chassis do have the links that rise up quite a bit. Nice build by the way!

    • @thestuff6102
      @thestuff6102  Год назад +1

      I was checking yesterday, and with the 540 can, there will be no problem with the rear links, so you were right
      Thank you for watched the video and your comments, definitely they are pretty helpful for this project and the ones to come 👍

    I would drop those front legs all the way down to the last hole therefore rolling the axle out instead of n if you roll it out it's going to give you a little bit of castor they're forgiving you better steering angle

    • @thestuff6102
      @thestuff6102  Год назад

    I would have just drilled the holes a little bigger and used some hex extension adapters.
