Thank you for a budget type LCG build. Want to try my first build but not sure how to track all the parts down and get everything to work on a budget. Don’t want to spend a bunch of money to see if I’ll like this type of rig. Thanks again sir!
I built 2 of these! Used custom front links on both, run super short on one with a stealth x trans. The other I run longer front links, and 2speed with dig. Managed to push the trans far enough forward on both I managed a 59/41 weight split.
1st time I got to see a crawler build. The motor and transmission setup is also completely new to me. Always to fun to learn new things especially in the rc world. Great video!
I also have the injora carbon kit and the LCG trans plus the Injora short metal driveshafts. It will be on the injora metal portals axles that i have. I used the "Z" links in the front but by placing them outside of the axle lugs, the binding went away and i get full movement. the other ends are outside of the frame still. If they don't work out i will try your method
@@rc-daily no not really... I love bashing and speed... purposely going slow and such is not in my veins... I have grown to appreciate the science and setup behind some good ones but overall I'd pass all-day
Brilliant chassis , recommend them highly, recently built one on capra axles, made my own shorter upper front links. It Works so well i Decided to sell my gspeed gshot chassis.
Main differences was in climbing ,the foward chassis weight bias helps alot and belly clearance was more with same length shocks and weight of the chassis overall was less . Running 324mm wheelbase , not quite as long as the gshot.
When I built this chassis, I posted some pics and I got told that I had the rear lower links on the wrong way round (same way you have them here and the way that Injora show them on their website). I’m relatively new to the crawler game and this advice was from a seasoned LCG rig builder, so I took their word for it and switched em round. The argument was that with the bend right behind the skid plate, it creates an unnecessary hang up point. Also, after looking at lots of other high clearance links, they do all seem to sit with the kink nearer the axle end. You’ve obviously been doing this for a long time and are very knowledgeable, so I’m curious to know what you think about this? Did Injora get it wrong and have people who bought this chassis got it set up wrong as a consequence?
Sweet build!! Just ordered one after seeing yours. Would you mind measuring the rough length of the rear driveshaft pin to pin? Would.be much appreciated. Top work.
I’m gonna get this kit. For the motor I’m gonna use the HobbyWing Fusion SE 1800kv Also I have some injora drive shafts but they aren’t gonna be long enough I don’t think. What size drive shafts do I need for front and rear?
I know this is a pretty old video but any chance we can get a measurement on that front and rear driveshaft this kit has me interested in trying to build one I’d like to see if I can buy some driveshafts first though
Lovely build Exo! Whats the lenght of the front upper links you swapped into the build? Its amazing to se the performance of this kit in your later video's 😃
Just ordered that chassis for a 10.2 that I too got on sale from A-Main. 🤣. What length are the front upper links you ended up using? I’ll get some on the way, hopefully they’ll arrive about the same time as the chassis kit. 😮
Hey I am having trouble with my front upper links. I’ve been working on piecing some together. Was wondering what length center piece and ends you used on yours?
Do even 1:1 vehicles get full shock compression? Like this 1/10 kit gets. Why not try out the front links before switching them rodends don't stick out that far?

I put small springs on either end of my inner driveshaft to keep it centered but still allow for flex.

Great build looks awesome, I'm glad you finally fixed the rear HC link and got it turned around in the correct position, sweet build !!
Yeah it wouldn’t fit the other way
I can't wait to see this chassis on the rocks. I've been thinking about buying one myself
Looks like a sweet piece of kit. Makes me wish I was into crawlers.
Ain't it past your bedtime
@@mikep.9338 yes. Yes it is
@@JustCallMePCra you ain't into crawlers?! Whattttt

I liked what you did with the front links
Yeah I did not like the way they had it.

what was the Main advantage that you saw in the Real world ?

I got this chassis and the Injora portals. I like what you did with the front upper links. I suppose I will be doing the same. RIP Lundsford*
Thanks for posting JOE this is a great value chase sir. Looks well made 🇬🇧🇺🇲🕊️✌🏼👍🏼

Good question I’m not home to do that right now. Email me at exocagedrc@yahoo.com to remind me this evening.

This is rad I just bought this chassis and a spare time hobbies kit to build up thanks for the video. what motor was that?
Dlux and Exo make cut to length driveshafts that work great for skid-forward chassis. While you are at it check out Exo's El Capitan rails.
I got the same only the S angled links are rubbing they need some extra bending when mounting ar 45 portal axles
Hello,nother quality video 🙂
Do you know if this chassis can fit 550 size motor like the Fusion Pro?
I know this is a pretty old video but any chance we can get a measurement on that front and rear driveshaft this kit has me interested in trying to build one I’d like to see if I can buy some driveshafts first though
Thanks , very interesting 🤔🤔🤔
Have a nice day ✋✋✋✋
Where can I get the small links like you used for the front?
Thanks Joe for the cool videos!
where did you get the upper front links from?
Would this work with Scx10.3 portals?
Lovely build Exo!
Whats the lenght of the front upper links you swapped into the build?

Need them vitavon driveshafts for my smt10?? Joe let me know
I would like one too .

Did u keep the plastic rear drive line?
Great show
What size shocks you running? Also will I have any issues installing the hobbywing fusion se will it fit?
I'm about to build this in a similar way but with scx10 III portals do you know roughly how long the drive shafts are
Hey I am having trouble with my front upper links. I’ve been working on piecing some together. Was wondering what length center piece and ends you used on yours?
I have a bin of random links and ends. I had to make some work on this as well.
Which chassis do you like better the injora or the dirty south chassis ?
I have one otw ! How long is that front drive shaft Joe ? 60mm - 65mm?
Brilliant video mate 👏👍
Whats that IFS build behind you at the end of the video?
What size motor did you using there
Man thank you Joe
Will a Capra skid fit this kit?
Love your channel and hope it grows happy Halloween 🙂
Hi Exo. Do u think this chassis would work on a 10.2 RTR ? Thanks. Bill
Super curious on that motor !!!
Peep the customer tube chassis IFS bouncer at the end🧐🧐🧐😳😳😳😎😎😎
can i have the link to buy the body?
I think you got the rear lower links direction wrong. The bent should be closer to the trans.
how long are those front links you made??
hmm good question, I don't have the truck here but they were kinda short
Superlight V3??
Nice video 👍🏻
By looking at 8:23 I don’t think my HobbyWing Se is gonna fit, probably be to long🙁
I have the same chassis I built.with the 10.2
What transmission is at on a snub nose
I know this is an old video but how much run time do you get from 650 or even 500mah batteries?
Depends on how I’m driving. Could be 25-30 minutes or 5-10 depending on the terrain and how much OD/UD it has.
Hello , I have élément etco , I want buy new shock , but I don’t know which one ???
What Servo is that?
I want that purple revolver! How much??? Lol
One day i'll take the plunge and build a crawler from scratch. Good work Joe 👌👏
Nice…
👍😁
Nice👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
😊✌️
wow cant belive you got this .... told you all for 53 bucks its a awsome kit ! its injora not power hobby
Sould get a flat skin for that

I paid 50 on Ali Express . a little tweaking and she kicks Aaaaaaaaa
