joe the traxxas big bores part #2660 are the same as the drav techs, you can save a little money and time by buying those and printing the shoick cups. the difference between those and dravs is the machined body.
Definitely agree with everything you're saying there bud... Great driving by the way very impressive and a great crawler there was one there I thought for sure you weren't getting... And up it went.... Amazing 🤩.... Love your content lately bro... Keep em coming. And thanks for your hard work on the vids...
Perfectly timed build series, I was looking at getting this chassis for a CJ lcg build I had in mind, kind of a scavenge the parts bins build... Thank you always for your vids, always a fav... I can send pics of the CJ if your interested
Everything is looking good, just looks to need some fine tuning. The more I drive these “KISS” style LCG rigs, the more I like them. I run the 90mm Element shocks with Mini T Springs. Very happy with them. Maybe try the Enduro trans for you OD?
Looking good! Great job, Goose! I believe they are threaded for the proline or power hobby thumb screw body mount. So you can hold the body down with knurled thumb screws or nuts with stud inserts.
Your new belly dragger collection has made some of your lines look way to easy lol. Might have to add some hardet stuff to the already awsome courses you have.
Joe what about trying a different set of tires & you should try the traxxas 2660 big bore shocks, they're lot cheaper & they do what the expensive one do!
What did you end up doing with the Shock Springs? The supplied springs in the builders kit were too stiff. I'm really liking this minimalist approach but the PowerHobby kit is sold out.
I think the rear HC link's are supposed to be the other way around, weird but it puts them in line with the drive shaft so it isn't hanging out like that.
That’s a solid build!!! Love the low profile! Do you think that sliders would help you out on some of those tougher lines? I think overdrive would go a long way, as well as longer travel shocks. 10/10 already!
Been looking at doing a lcg build and using a set of the Chy-Na rails, but looking at a different set, not like yours, or like any of the other common Evilzon rails. The kit I'm looking at doesn't appear to be like any other rig I've seen to date. Just waiting to pull the trigger as I just dropped a 300 for tools for work and a little rc. lol
ive had this chassis from injora for 6 plus months . please take those tires to the trash can , put a set a pro x tires on a set of ghost rims put bbs from a bb gun in the tires . the body mounts are threaded because you bolt the body on like 1/10 oval cars do . its for a reason to when you roll over you wont get caught on stuff . those shocks are way to short . integy billet shocks with viton o-rings and fox shock oil are key .
I'm sure Joe knows way more about RC crawling than any of us hardly will ever know. He runs vitavon on dam near everything. Is this your first time seeing his channel??
Great video I watch your videos daily with my coffee as well and I have to say I fully enjoy your content and btw I think you did a great job on the cut of the body it looks good to me.if you don’t want it I’ll take it for my gspeed lol 😂😅😊
I currently run this chassis with AR45p 10.3 axles, and I can say i love it. Get a low slung SOA mount (like one from Artful Dodgers), it really helps with the 10.3 axles.
Do to yours and other people videos. I am 64 in a wheel chair I want thank you. I have 4 rc. I work on it myself I soldering my own connectors and crimping my own servo connectors. I want you to know how much a difference in my life. Thank You Carl Reeves
EXO you know out of all the things that a guy could customize on our beloved crawlers and trail trucks the one thing I don't get I know you like the creep body and all and I guess it doesn't bug you as much but I know for some people having the tires rub on the body and have that tire on plastic body sound when the tires rub the body is just like almost like fingernails on a chalkboard to some of us, all of the trail trucks and crawlers I've built over the years that was one of my biggest pet peeves I guess you could call it I just every time I hear a tire rubbing on a plastic body it's like oh you could have cut it just a little better or a little different and or somehow but it just doesn't sound right bud, but hey I'll watch every single video I think building these chassis like you do is pretty cool you get to see what's out there but come on man let's give the bodies a little bit more care just a little constructive criticism still love what you do man thanks for the entertainment.
I watch your videos every morning with my coffee. I look forward to the videos every morning.
I got the 90mm yeah racing desert lizard shocks with full droop its amazing
The other flat rails have always been out of reach, but this one I can swing. Thanks for the review 👍

I luv my 2660 same thing as the expensive one, this is the way to go!
I like how you cut out for the shock towers

Love that little truck, pretty strong and very nimble...
It sure is!

Try the desert lizard shocks they work well and can be set really low
Amazing performance! I was gonna grab a RTR but I think I’ll have to build one up from scratch.

You could also do moded traxis big bore shocks with mine t springs
You should try out some Desert lizard shocks. I'd like to see what you think of them. I'm personally a big fan of them.
Joe what about trying a different set of tires & you should try the traxxas 2660 big bore shocks, they're lot cheaper & they do what the expensive one do!

front dravtech with soft and rear stock with shock bandz
Looking good! Great job
Impressive.
I think so for a first drive
Post are threaded so you can mount magnets easily.
That chassis seems to be a good performer
I think the rear HC link's are supposed to be the other way around, weird but it puts them in line with the drive shaft so it isn't hanging out like that.
I thought he had them that way first in the build video.
That’s a solid build!!! Love the low profile! Do you think that sliders would help you out on some of those tougher lines? I think overdrive would go a long way, as well as longer travel shocks. 10/10 already!
Not sure what length of shock you are wanting to go with, but the Traxxas 2660 Big Bores are 90mm long and are almost the same thing as the Dravtecs.
Been looking at doing a lcg build and using a set of the Chy-Na rails, but looking at a different set, not like yours, or like any of the other common Evilzon rails. The kit I'm looking at doesn't appear to be like any other rig I've seen to date.

cool
Put a trx4 axle in the rear since they both spin the same direction.
Just watched your video it's alsome mate great job 👍👏
I like the 2660s I have on my gspeed.
Awesome i rig i have a similar rig but in the rear use a scx10 3 portal is a better solution for rear long wheelbase 😉

Lol I for sure would listen to someone who says there rig is dialed with bbs in the tire.
I'm sure Joe knows way more about RC crawling than any of us hardly will ever know. He runs vitavon on dam near everything. Is this your first time seeing his channel??
I’d like to see this thing run these lines again but with better tires. I’m not a fan of the Krawlers when it comes to performance.
Krawlers are some the best performing tires in my experience? That said, I’d like to see a JConcepts tire. Landmines, Tusks, Ruptures,
Etc…
@@dezfan on the California scene they are mediocre at best. They look cool though. I’d like to see the Tusk or Hunks
@@clyde19770 on the Red Rock here in Northern AZ, there work well. That said, I still prefer JCon’s green compound tires.
How did you mount the steering servo?
Great video I watch your videos daily with my coffee as well and I have to say I fully enjoy your content and btw I think you did a great job on the cut of the body it looks good to me.if you don’t want it I’ll take it for my gspeed lol 😂😅😊
hello . do you know if there is enough room to put a hobbywing fusion engine. Thanks, Merry Christmas
Depending on your electronics layout, yeah it could have room for that
@@ExocagedRC Thank you, I have just received this chassis, there are things to change for the assembly
How Scala this it?🙏🏽
Hey Joe good morning! So what parts did you actually end up using from the 10.2 kit
Drive train components and skid. Oh and shocks. Probably a few nuts and bolts too
Has you tried this chassis with portals ?
What have you discovered with portals ?
I currently run this chassis with AR45p 10.3 axles, and I can say i love it. Get a low slung SOA mount (like one from Artful Dodgers), it really helps with the 10.3 axles.
I like it
Are the rear lower links in the wrong direction?
Those deez bands are awesome! I've got a couple sets and love them
Wow
Who sales that body ?
Nice 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
😁👍😁

Should paint that truck pink

Your making me want to build a cheater truck. This truck seems to be kicking ass and it looks like it isnt a stupid expensive set up.
You are correct. You can use a 1080 and brushed motor to power this truck. Whole thing less than $500 and it’ll crawl everything
What drive shafts length did you use for the front and rear ?
