    Love the idea of not trying to get better/improve but letting the body naturally improve as an outcome of the daily practice. A small shift in mindset but very profound and contrary to our “push harder” culture which leads to burn out and injuries.

    That was a really nice perception about yoga. Sometimes I feel so lonely being a man who practices it. It changed my entire life, and I have nobody to talk about it. It's nice to see people around the world find themselves just like I did.

      @sergiomurilo758 I find it weird that so many souls including myself, feel lonely on this planet, and yet there's so many people that resonate with each other and can find so much if they connect. I know many men that do yoga, maybe join a class? :)

      @craftiestcraftstress 5 месяцев назад +4

      @@gala_mars Thank you! I want to say around the three week mark was when it became a apart of my joy... After that I didn't even think about it, it's just something I do. I also should point out that at that same time I began cycling syncing, doing that helps me to understand what kind of yoga is best for any given day. There are a ton of great videos on the topic all over you tube if you haven't heard of it before. It really is a game changer to health and wellness, it even helped me to loose 10 pounds. Before I began all this I would try to work out about 3 days a week for a few years, it never really stuck before.

    Thank you for this video Caro. I tried yoga a while ago but, suffering from Multiple Sclerosis, after a few weeks of practice I was still stiff, clumsy and just let myself get discouraged of not seeing any progress. Hearing you say ''you don't have to get better'' is really something I needed to hear. This alone has inspired me to try again. Much love, and a happy and healthy 2024 to you!

      Hallo ich finde sehr schön was du machst und wie du es machst. Ich habe auch vor ca. 10 Jahren angefangen und mit Videos geübt . Habe derzeit auch manchmal pilates geübt, was mir auch gefiel. Meine Zeiten waren auch fast immer am Morgen vor der Arbeit, dann war ich fit für den Tag und meine anstrengende Arbeit als Bedienung. Ich sah es auch immer als wohltuend und wichtig für mich auf allen Ebenen.
      Als ich eine Diagnose bekam, dass ich eine Krankheit an den Füssen habe bzw. Der Plantarfaszien habe ich erst bemerkt wie wenig wir auf unsere Füße achten. Du sprichst mir sehr aus dem ❤️ mit deinen Empfindungen uns es sollte wirklich Freude machen und ohne Druck geübt werden, denn sonst könnte man ja auch ins Fitness Studio gehen.
      Ich habe vor 3 Jahren eine Ausbildung zur Yogalehrerin gemacht, obwohl oder vielleicht weil ich 58 Jahre alt bin und fit für meine Enkel sein möchte . Bin dreifache Oma und zum Glück sehr beweglich das ist es was ich mir gewünscht habe. Gebe 2 mal die woche Unterricht und sonst mach ich was für mich wenn ich mag.
      Ich wünsche dir von Herzen alles Gute und bleib drann❤

    I made a New Year resolution 21 years ago to do yoga everyday and I have stuck to that, even if it is 5 minutes. Thanks for sharing your journey. Yoga is a life saver.

    That was a really beautiful explanation of your experience. No fancy goals or poses, just getting in touch with yourself, allowing yourself to just be where you are...I love this. I find I put a lot of pressure on myself to practice at specific times or for specific amounts of time. Or to choose 'the right' video to follow along with or just get too in my head about getting on the mat. Thanks for sharing your experience...I'm going to try to change my perspective a bit on some of the points you touched on in your video that resonated with me. Thank you and good luck on your journey ! ❤

    Caro, this was so inspiring! Thanks a lot😍365 days of yoga got me through the first year of the pandemic - such a difficult and challenging time for me and for many people. I am slowly returning to yoga - I do a few minutes once a week. It calms me and cleanses me.

    Thank you for this video! You made me realise that showing up and doing what feels "right" at the time is much more sustainable than the chase to achieve certain poses or ignore how I feel in order to follow what someone else is doing (class/guided). Thank you for reminding me of the importance of me ❤

    I love this Caro! This last week of the year I've been doing yoga every day and I now feel even more inspired to keep going. What are your favorite online classes/teachers that you would recommend? Thank you for all you share!
