Also, glad to know I wasn't the only one who thought the axe looked nothing like the original one, or you know like an axe at all.
Excellent job conveying an extremely underrated Optimus Prime design in Lego. Not to mention, this is above and beyond work for a "B" build MOC. It nails all the angles, even the subtle ones above the hips, (I imagine that had to be a pain since the original set is NOT heavy on technic parts). Not only that, but you still worked in details, and barely sacrificed the color scheme.
I tought this was the set plus some extra pieces, but after finding out you used just the set I was stunned, great job.
I'm so glad I bought 2 Optimuses ... I just finished your model and couldn't be happier with the end result! Thanks man
You know, I actually wouldn't mind if Lego makes another set based on IDW designs, Stealth Bomber Megatron would be a banger of a set

Back in 2019 I built a 3ft tall Optimus Prime based off the version seen in the Bumblebee movie. I submitted my design to Lego, but they said it would be too much to get the licence. At the time, I believe Mega Blocks had the Transformers licence. It's nice to see they finally obtained it and put out a model, but it woulda been really cool to see my massive model as like a UCS set.

Got done building this a couple hour’s ago. Man! The robot mode is such a beast! I much prefer it then the G1 version. I never was fond of that one in robot mode. Much preferred it in truck mode but found your video here and bought the instructions and built this one up. Had to disassemble him from the stock which was no fun lol but think it was well worth it. One thing to note though and this was on me i think. Was missing some part’s but ended up winging it and just using other part’s from the set that didn’t necessarily need so all is good. I do also wanna say what’s kinda annoying is definitely build this brand new cause left with piece’s that have the sticker’s on.
I’m glad you enjoyed it! It required the spares that comes with the set and also bricks from the accessories, including the base of the plaque

So the beauty of YT of me seeing TommyCBricks video a few weeks ago about his 5 mods the the new 10302 set and talking about his "dream" look to this set. Then fast forward to yesterday and me seeing his new vid review on your alternative build mod for the set...this morning, I purchased your instructions, was at the door waiting for the Lego Store at my local mall to open at noon, and got the 2nd to last OP set they had to build your Alt build moc!
I do have 1 questions starting off is: "do your instructions go with the Numbered Bags OR just open bags, sort part, then build?"
Awesome job on the build and looks sick! I wasn't planning on purchasing this OP set but once I saw what you did with it... I had to purchase and build it myself! This is my second alternative build set I've done for the first one was the new 2022 version of the Batmobile you had to buy the Lego 1989 version set to build it.
So I'm looking forward to building this!
You’ll need to open all the bags and sort the bricks. I do recommend sorting them one at a time though… Chubbybots made a great video about sorting for MOCing and I think it works for building MOCs too: ruclips.net/video/OLvOwXZ2rxI/видео.html

The part about him can’t transform, that mean he not only IDW Optimus Prime but he also Action Master Optimus Prime since AM Optimus looks really slim and have more articulation than Truck Optimus.

What I would like is for someone to figure out a method to allow the original Optimus to have working knees.
looks more like a gundam now
Kind of Figueroa's style. He applied more anime mecha proportions and decals to transformers. I think it fits seeing as several G1 character designs were by Japanese artists or retools of other Japanese mecha.
