Soundwave would be the best pick in my opinion. It's a Decepticon that's easily recognizable and wouldn't be offensive either because Megatron would have to be a tank or a gun, either of which Lego wouldn't want to do. Starscream is also a military jet, which would be against their logic too. Plus with Soundwave, he could be the same price as Optimus and have all of his cassettes for a smaller cassette player.
I believe that Lego can make a g1 megaton gun mode because it's a big scale other content creators build a small megatron that transforms into a gun but I think it will be old toy accurate to make it not complex transformed just like prime since Lego prime is almost similar to his old toy counterpart but with more articulation
@@Thisdogsoviet bumblebee has a 50/50 chance of being good or bad since kids appeal characters always get bad toys if you non transformers fans that only got into transformers because of lego collabing with hasbro didn't know

2:15 Megatron can transform into a lego helicopter like his animated counterpart it would be a wonderful tribute to Derrik J Wyatt the art director of Transformers Animated who passed on last year
I assumed starscream would be a no because of a fighter jet but then I remembered I have the ‘F-14’ fast flyer which isn’t a million miles away from him. I don’t know if they could do a good looking cassette that also transformed in a small size but I’d accept separate builds for those that you could swap out
The only problem with Starscream is that making a transformation for a G1-style model would be pretty difficult, considering specifically how his chest and head transform into the jets cockpit
But remember , they made a proper Nazi fighter plane with an accurate Luftwaffe pilot for the Indiana Jones set, the set also has a revolver pistol , they also have a F-35/F-22 hybrid for stunt planes, they surely won't have a problem implementing a fictionalized F-15 for StarScream.
I don't necessarily expect them to put out another lego transformers to be honest. If they do, Soundwave would be the most logical option in my opinion.
My number 1 honestly goes to Soundwave. I'm sure I'm slightly biased as he is my favorite Decepticon. But I think he would be incredibly easy to make as a transformable set. And he is one of the most recognizable characters.
I wonder if shockwave would be possible. He turns into a gun but it’s more like a space turret rather than a real world gun like megs. Honestly as much as I’d want screamer he’d be borderline impossible in lego. Hasbro has difficulty now doing him right and the ones that do get it right are more complex than anything lego could replicate. Anyways the ones I want the most are Soundwave and jazz.
It’d also be an 18+ set, too. Like Optimus was. Not like they’d be promoting that content to kids. Helps that, at least with Megs, he’d be a sci-fi tank. LEGO’s done plenty of those in LEGO Star Wars
Lego analogs already have this feature and... You know... This thing works bad. Combiners always have two ways to combine: 1) All models of robots should be took apart and then from their parts you build the "combiner" 2) All models really combine into one big robots, but their connection so weak, that any part of the building can just fall off. Or even robot can fall. I don't think that Lego will make Devastator as real combiner. I'm sure he will become just a monolith figure, without separation to Constructicons.
i have made my own version of a lego combiner, unfortunately it broke down easily. Even though i used some of the most sturdy lego pieces to combine then it just was either unable to stand on twos and even on all fours or it would just 'uncombine' it self and break apart
Yeah if Devastator aka the Constructicons does ever appear in Lego for 2024, I say that he would most likely to be based off of Transformers 2 Revenge of the Fallen.
I’m deeply saddened people are taking some random person we have never heard of’s statements on future product as truth. Nothing is confirmed at all and there have been no future announcements in any official capacity.
I myself am a sucker for Combiners. Whether the 5 robot (or 6, in the case of the Constructicons) teams, or Duocons, I just like the whole concept of making one robot out of more-than-one vehicle. Though, it _would_ be a plus if the team of 5 (or 6) vehicles could also transform into robot forms of their _own._
for a bumblebee speed champion i wouldn't mind a 70s camaro with a sam witwicky minifig. i feel like a 70s one would work more than a modern one because we've gotten modern camaro builds before
Soundwave seems like a reasonably logical next step. But if he's at the same scale as Optimus, I'm not too sure about how well they could handle his cassette minions. A simple brick-built cassette is definitely workable. If they're going to do transforming cassette minion at that scale, I think it would have to be Rumble or Frenzy, since they also benefit from being fairly boxy in their design. If they really want to do the cassette-bots, though, I think they need to be willing to sacrifice consistent scale and make them a bit larger - maybe about 1/3 to 1/2 the size of Optimus. That would put them comfortably in the $60-$100 price range, depending on the exact size. If it's at the small end, the might sell them as two packs and, as much as possible, take advantage of characters that are just recolors of one another (similar to Optimus and Nemesis - exact same design, just different colored pieces). If we include Blaster's companions, I can see five two-packs: 1: Ravage and Ratbat 2. Rumble and Laserbeak 3. Frenzy and Buzzsaw 4. Rewind and Steeljaw 5. Eject and Ramhorn Stagger them to release over a period of time - maybe one every six months alternating between Autobots and Decepticons, or one of the Decepticon packs to test the waters and, if it goes well, just release the other two pairs at an interval of a year or so.
My issue is that you would have to keep them in in the same scale to each other in form robot mode like they where. IE bumble bee would need to be able to find it primes trailer but megaton would be the same size as prime. Devastator would be epic as a combiner
Making that build any bigger is a risk as much as it is. However, I'm still shocked they haven't made a Nemesis Prime recolor yet that's exclusive to some specific store
Soundwave will be the best build for the next lego Transformer. His transformation is simplistic and I would love seeing Lazerbeak as a transformable casette in the set.
I pretty much agree with everything you said here. Megatron & Starscream are hopefully next but Soundwave is a safe bet for public relations. Honestly, I don't think they would really get flack for doing the sci-fi take on a tank and a jet. Star Wars is way more hardcore than Transformers so if LEGO just sticks to the source content with room for alterations on a couple things, it will likely be successful.
I want to see several Lego Transformers mashups with several Lego themes like Lego Ninjago, Classic Space, DC Comics, Marvel, Star Wars (for example Mando transforms into the Razor Crest with Grogu), Ultra Agents, Jurassic and more.
I worry the designs from those movies have too many fractal pieces that would be hard to perfectly translate in LEGO. Maybe as a figuring, but I would be shocked if they could figure out how to make it transform
I think the issue with picking is they have to pick one that can actually be turned into both vehicle and robot mode otherwise it won't work at all as long as it doesn't take any taking apart to make them into said mode
Megatron’s P38 mode shoots lasers rather than bullets, what has Lego made before under that same description? A minifigure scale pistol that looks identical to Megs (if you removed his attachments) that is presumed to shoot lasers so I see no issue with a Lego megatron that turns into a gun. Yes, and as the current Lego Megatron VA like they did in G1, TLK and Prime for a possible 8 movie-based Lego Transformers Game with the sequel of Transformers Rise of the Beasts alongside Peter Cullen as Lego Optimus Prime.
In terms of my top 5 Lego Transformers - 1) Soundwave w/laserbeak; 2) Megatron (with laser gun), 3) Sound blaster (rival of Soundwave), 4) Sideway (from Transformers Armada) and 5) Starscream. Of all 5, my personal favorite would be Soundwave w/laserbeak as one of minions.

Jazz because his head sculpt is a simple part of the build for the visor use transparent blue parts and the helmet use the black semi circle parts... And lastly Number 5 is. cliffjumper because he looks exactly like bumblebee but in red!
I personally would have Grimlock be the next since he’s an iconic transformer, has beef with Optimus Prime so we could imply a battle, and his dinosaur form is decently blocky
I think that would be fun. I gotta say tho, I think if they make more, they'll stick to G1 shapes, just because of their simplicity to make out of LEGO. I'm excited to see what they do next, tho.

I know this is 2 years old but I personally think it would be cool if we got a G1 Diorama to get minifigures or something like that. I know it’s similar to the Kreo stuff but I honestly think it could be really cool.
One day I gotta extend this to a Top 15, and maybe reconfigure placement of characters because the more suggestions I see, the more exciting options I’d love to see
Bumblebee and soundwave are definitely in my top picks. I think shockwave would be really cool down the line, but i highly doubt they would make him anytime soon.
I would like to seen a Lego Devastator, yeah, big optimus means Bigger Devastator, but the bootleg says that can be possible with the green version, but made with individual form and Combined form
If it’s any other version of the character, I am open to him being a tank or a jet, but if you’re gonna make the G1 Megatron, it’s got to be a gun or nothing. I heard that they’re planning on releasing a studio series 86 Megatron figure either this year or next year and if it’s not gonna be a gun, I’m not buying it. They have him be a voyager size with Optimus prime, and they can have him come with the stock and silencer to justify the lead class price point.
If LEGO were to ever do a set with two bots in one, Arcee's *ahem* slimmer frame makes her top candidate for an easy choice in such a set on the autobot side. No clue who or what would be against/paired with her tho.
Lego has policy against all forms of modern warfare so a tank is also impossible so mega tron, and maybe even star scream are off the table, although like you said he might be just a stunt plane. The only way I can see Megatron being executed is to make him a Galvatron or futuristic four leged Cybertron alternative mode
Thing is, Meg's interpretations have all been steeped in Sci-Fi. LEGO has done plenty of Sci-Fi tanks in their day (see Star Wars). Sure, it's not G1 specifically, but the War For Cybertron Trilogy ran with the concept real well, while retaining Megatron's look
@@PenPlays like you said there are alternative modes which could be adapted but these are few and far beween ,but look at most of his modes, star wars is a fictional setting with completely independent tech with tank which aren't commonly used as tanks don't look like tanks and aren't advertised as a semi real life tank Lego won't go further they already had a massive backlash for introducing a fairly unknown vehicle of war which was patched up with search and rescue stickers, imagine what would happen if they released an actual tank
@@n_ex13 Not making any military stuff is a wasted opportunity for the Transformers line. They should at least make them as 18+ sets. Parents may protest abt War themed Lego sets but grownups would absolutely love it. Lego should know already that there's more adults playing with Lego than childrens.
Personally, I just want more LEGO robot statues. My top 5 is the MMPR Megazord, Mechagodzilla, the original Gundam, Gaogaigar, and Ultraman (I know he isn’t a mecha, but don’t ruin my Christmas!)

Soundwave would easily be my #1 as he was always my favorite Decepticon. He would look great in both modes and awesome next to Prime.
This is my personal list
5. Wheel jack
4. Grimlock
3. Megatron
2. Hot rod
1. Shockwave & Soundwave 2 way tie
I NEED MORE LEGO TRANSFORMERS‼️
ME TOO‼️
Bumblebee and soundwave are definitely in my top picks. I think shockwave would be really cool down the line, but i highly doubt they would make him anytime soon.
As a plus, at least Shockwave has some easy to capture shapes with LEGO pieces
I want to see a g1 shockwave cause it's my fav deceptecon
I think megatron might be next it makes sense if not then bumblebee
What are the thumbnail box cover sets from? Those Mocs look incredible
the bumblebee is from hachiroku24, the soundwave i have no clue but i want it
I would like to seen a Lego Devastator, yeah, big optimus means Bigger Devastator, but the bootleg says that can be possible with the green version, but made with individual form and Combined form
No clue who or what would be against/paired with her tho.
how about shockwave not his gun alt mode but maybe his spider tank
What about the constructicons
In my opinion I think that the best would be hotrod, shockwave, soundwave, megatron, ironhide, cassette cons should probably be pollybags
We can have all characters
Of course.
My favourite transformers characters are lazerbeack and sounswave
And if they do Bumblebee I’d love to see some bayverse characters in the Lego lineup with him since I loved his Chevy Camaro alt mode
I think a technic peices would be really cool for an age of extinction grimlock
@@PenPlays like you said there are alternative modes which could be adapted but these are few and far beween ,but look at most of his modes, star wars is a fictional setting with completely independent tech with tank which aren't commonly used as tanks don't look like tanks and aren't advertised as a semi real life tank
Lego won't go further they already had a massive backlash for introducing a fairly unknown vehicle of war which was patched up with search and rescue stickers, imagine what would happen if they released an actual tank
2024 Bumblebee lego is a reality
No Megatron?
I agree with 1, 2, 4, and 5.
I think the jet plane would be the only one besides optimist I’d get.
Screamer would be cool.
YES I NEED ALL OF THESE PLEASE
IKR?!?
Jazz would be great
Yes, and I think the Pontiac Solstice version would be really cool!
Would love nemas prime or a shoke wave
