Shell or Exxon..other stations I've used the gas seems to run out quicker..Quick question whenever I use sport mode it seems as if my car lags a little or picks up high rpms without really taking off any suggestions or reason you may think causing this?
SXTSIMMS Sport Mode in the Dodge Challenger SXT changes the shift intervals in the ZF-8 automatic transmission. When you activate the Sport Mode, you will notice that the transmission will hold gears for a longer amount of time, it will hold you in lower gears, it will shift slightly harder and it will allow your engine to rev higher in the RPM’s. What you are experiencing seems pretty normal for the SXT’s Sport Mode.

hahaha i got a '17 sxt, gas prices in cali are 3.12 to 3.70 a gal depending on what octane you run. i commute to work every day and spend about 45$ every 4-5 days to fill my tank. i call it smiles per gallon instead of miles per gallon 🤣

If I kept with the hard runs I have I would spend about 200+ a month on gas with an sxt plus. I use mid grade ( 87 octane ) and get about 30mpg when I am nice on it

Drive easy man. I get his mpg in the city and 30+ on highway trips. And I be pushing that 3.6 from time to time. I have a 2019 sxt with a mopar cai and a resonator delete. If you watch the mpg cluster, try to figure out a sweet spot where for the majority of the time you’re out driving to be over 25mpg. On the highways it’s easy to stay on 30+ cruising at 75-80. Now if every time you take the chally out and take off traction and drive it in sport mode, you’ll be averaging 13-16mpg easy like the scats lol. With the muffler and res delete, do you get a lot of drone? I did the resonator and the car sounds nice with them gunshots backfire popping when I drive it on sport in the first 2 gears.
