Chase Bradley been there, done that, many, many, many, many times over the years. Performance cars with automatic transmissions today, 8 speed and above, are very enjoyable to drive, and they perform very well. So sometimes doing something different is a good thing, especially if your left knee is worn out from shifting gears so many times.
Wow I would’ve thought the V6 had more gas mileage . My 2018 ScatPack Challenger gets 18 MPG CITY and 28 HWY and I drive on Sport Mode pretty much all the time.

Agreed 100%. Rain, sun, or snow, I'm in my R/T. I have full confidence in the vehicle and my driving ability. The other drivers scare the crap out of me.
The challenger is a exceptionally balanced car. It's based on a sedan platform but that is for it's benefit. It's comfortable it's fast, It handles decently well and despite the gas mileage it is a near perfect sports/muscle car.
Thank you so much for sharing very much appreciated indeed…. Agree 100% 😃 Just got back from a ride in my 2016 Challenger HC. Took it out of garage having not touched it in months. 17.3k miles on it. Rides like new. Challengers are just great, firm, comfortable cars! Got it sitting where I can look at it out the window now. 😉
Hey man, you dont have to stress, you are driving and you have to make a video at the same time. You aren't an idiot man. Chill!, take it easy. Am I right people? He should just take it easy, no problen
I have to note tho, the 485 is an SAE rating, so that's an averaged out power but the scats are actually 500hp. I have to agree on the mpg tho, mi e gets 26+ mainly because I drive almost strictly freeway and I drive over 25 miles one way to work and the store.
i average 18-21 litres per 100km when i’m driving it hard, around 15 litre per 100km just cruising or in eco. My gt challenger had a much better mpg, but you can’t compare the two. smiles per gallon is what i’m paying for now.
If it were a daily car I’d go for the charger since the 4 door is more practical, I have a charger sxt for Daily and a scat pack challenger for pleasure
I daily drive my challenger RT. I figure were in the last 10 or 15 years of gasoline if the lefties get their own way... no sence in not enjoying the car. On a side note, a local guy with a V6 has it supercharged. Its a beast! Leaves my stock RT shift for shift and it runs with another stock scat pack... not beating it but the two cars are within a car length.
How would you compare owning and daily driving the R/T vs the Scat Pack ? Is the R/T good enough ? Does the R/T get better fuel mileage ? I will be getting a manual transmission regardless, in a Challenger or a Mustang GT. (2020/2021)
Good question man. I don't have experience owning the RT so I can't say for certain like I can with the ScatPack. It depends on what you're looking for. You will get a couple more mpg out of the RT but if you're comparing it to the GT I would say the ScatPack is the closer competitor when it comes to power. Mostly everything else is the same that I talked about in the video. 5.7 is still a great engine but you can tell it's less powerful than the 6.4
I had a challenger 2013 R/T and currently have a 2019 Scatpack so the R/T I’d say got better gas mileage but not by a lot honestly. Still Theres a difference and if you’re trying to save money on gas and the car maybe the R/T is a better idea. The R/T was powerful, had that nice sound, comfortable and nice to drive but the Scatpack is a different beast in terms of power with the same perks as an R/T. I mean it launches 🚀
I made a video about gas mileage ruclips.net/video/VEIKr1pevDc/видео.html Insurance is difficult to talk about because it depends on a million different things. My hellcat compared to my scatpack was about 25-30% higher. I imagine it might be similar from the SXT to the ScatPack but you can run the numbers on most insurance websites

I got a 2013 dodge challenger sxt plus love it best car i owned love the gas mileage and also plenty of power would love me a v8 sound but will prob super charge my v6 to get there
2019 Challenger GT, 3.6 L V6, 305 HP; 8 Spd Automatic; 19 MPG CITY, 30 HWY
Real car enthusiasts drive manuals.

I'm considering one for my next commuter car...unfortunately being in Massachusetts I'm pretty much resigned to getting a GT AWD which only comes in V6
And only in automatic which sucks.
In pa, have the same problem, though I'm going for the sxt.
bought a Dodge Challenger SXT Plus V6, Destroyer Gray. blacktop package, and i love it. it's a great first car purchase. i'll always keep it.
iam thinking of deleting the resonators tho to make it sound good when i'm driving
Did you delete the resonators?
@@cherrellbell9269 yes both the resonators and mufflers, i actually ending up trading it in about a week ago for a RT scatpack widebody
I daily drive my srt 392 challenger and I love it normal driving and very reliable ...back in high school I drove a 70 nova 396 ss 4 speed even in snow never had problems so I feel this srt is the same....its other drivers to watch out for in winter conditions not the muscle car power lol
What about if you get one of the r/t with better gas mileage in the 15/26
@@OceanicCelery99 I personally own the R/T. The gas mileage is passable most of the time except when having fun.
hey random question but i’m about to get a 2011 challanger today & im worried that i won’t have enough leg room cus i’m 6’5…
The Chally is a truck disguised as a coupe, which is why I love it.
Thank you so much for sharing very much appreciated indeed….
Dodge Challenger continuing a icon towards many years…I have a chance to have one plus the place I live the garage is on my living room together modifying into a circular automatic car platform which my Dodge just set as space ambience deco touch…
Great Car…Style..Safety..Beauty…and many more…
Drive in Beauty….
the sound system is fng fantastic
I would love to but im worried about during the snow. I currently have a 4x4 and never worry
KyleTVProductions There is a Challenger with an awd gt package available!
Agree 100% 😃 Just got back from a ride in my 2016 Challenger HC. Took it out of garage having not touched it in months. 17.3k miles on it. Rides like new. Challengers are just great, firm, comfortable cars! Got it sitting where I can look at it out the window now. 😉
Leonard Rice ooohhh wow L.Rice 1st world 🌎 problems! Lmao 🤟🏽🤟🏽🤟🏽with motion sensors cameras lights attack dogs guarding the HC! Enjoy 😉
You can never go by the trip computer for mpg they are always off . Thanks for the video, looking at an R/T..
I would love to have one I can definitely see myself and driving one definitely.
Great overview, really considering getting one, have 328i now
3:36 dumb question, but is there a way to decrease the amount of trunk space for added space on the back 2 seats?
theres no physical way , the seats are to vertically big for it to fit tru the trunk
Good video...thanks for posting!
Hey man, you dont have to stress, you are driving and you have to make a video at the same time. You aren't an idiot man. Chill!, take it easy. Am I right people? He should just take it easy, no problen
Just imagine if everyone in the world was like you. This world would be a better place!
I have to note tho, the 485 is an SAE rating, so that's an averaged out power but the scats are actually 500hp. I have to agree on the mpg tho, mi e gets 26+ mainly because I drive almost strictly freeway and I drive over 25 miles one way to work and the store.
I agree😍love my challenger
Are the insurance rates really high? I'm thinking about getting an SXT as my first car.
i average 18-21 litres per 100km when i’m driving it hard, around 15 litre per 100km just cruising or in eco. My gt challenger had a much better mpg, but you can’t compare the two. smiles per gallon is what i’m paying for now.
I wish I had the money to get one. My favorite is the scat pack widebody.
I need this car man…… I’ll get it this year, I subscribed btw
Thanks for the sub!
I love my scat daily driver ❤
If it were a daily car I’d go for the charger since the 4 door is more practical, I have a charger sxt for Daily and a scat pack challenger for pleasure
the sxt gets 27-28ave mpg
I daily drive my challenger RT. I figure were in the last 10 or 15 years of gasoline if the lefties get their own way... no sence in not enjoying the car.
On a side note, a local guy with a V6 has it supercharged. Its a beast! Leaves my stock RT shift for shift and it runs with another stock scat pack... not beating it but the two cars are within a car length.
I have a RT 345 & can average 26-27 mpg as long as I keep my foot off the gas pedal yet it’s easier said than done 🤷🏻♂️
I mean it launches 🚀
was looking for specific year. Should also be in the title
Best car for the apocalypse
My wife will be spending a lot of time in the passenger seat. Is that seat very comfortable?
Yeah both seats are very comfortable
20 thousand miles a year 4 oil changes and 1 spark plugs every year and it's still strong i actually do plumbing in it so she's heavy alright
Awesome video!
Love my Challenger
It really blocks all that exhaust noise unless you straight pipe it 😂 and even more if you straight pipe all four 😂
I heard they are expensive to fix used im thinking of getting a 2013 rt thoughts ?
Is it expensive to insure comparing to SXT?
What’s the mpg and does it require premium gas?
I made a video about gas mileage
ruclips.net/video/VEIKr1pevDc/видео.html
Insurance is difficult to talk about because it depends on a million different things. My hellcat compared to my scatpack was about 25-30% higher. I imagine it might be similar from the SXT to the ScatPack but you can run the numbers on most insurance websites
Show us how you park in shopping center with tight spots and get in and out of the car.
#1 cause it’s fucking sick
I know mechanically inclined people say dodges are garbage but gosh challengers are the best looking car ever made
Any short Dodge Challenger drivers?
