You had me at #1. Last March I bought a 2018 Challenger GT. Premium sound, Torrent Red V-6, black out pkg. I live in Wyoming. Love it. Let ppl think I'm fast. That's fine.
Yes I just bought a sxt all black 2021 and every car pulls up beside try to race me. Then I have purple mods on it and the men thumbs me up everyday ! But that v8 would have got me hella tickets bro that engine do something to you 🤣🤣🤣
@@FM69831 I have custom stripes that go along the hood scoop and a wicker bill spoiler and the Lil end pieces that goes on the edge of the front splitter guard and purple pieces for the steering wheel and gear shaft . It’s dope but I just traded it for a RT SCAT 🤣 I’m ready now !
I was skeptical, thinking you were gonna say the V6 is good for new/younger drivers, but I can actually agree with what you said about wanting more. Haven't had my SXT a full week yet, but I totally see how someone could have one and already be thinking about what's next especially when Dodge has so many trim levels, each with their own "extras". The SXT is a great car for ANYONE, regardless of age, who wants to be stylish, comfortable, and wants to press the gas and feel a lil' somethin'. Just be warned, it might get a little annoying when everyone at the stop lights seems to want to race you
I have no idea if you will see this a full year later. But I really admire how much you care about your family and how much you simply want your daughter to be safe on the road. While being stylish at the same time. You are an awesome parent!
I bought a charger SXT cause I wanted a daily beater that was not going to kill me On gas like my other daily (hummer h2 ) I now love the charger but after 2 years im itching to get a V8
I was originally gonna get a Challenger SXT, I love dodge enough that I would’ve been ok with a V6. After a good raise at my job tho I was able to bump up to getting my RT and I’m happy with that choice.
I just retired and jumped right into a 2020 50th Anniversary Scat Pack. Love the Shaker Hood. I've owned or driven every muscle car from the 60's and 70's. Trust me, they were NOT made better. They WERE easier to work on. The Chargers/Challengers are fantastic and I'm so glad that the muscle car craze is back. Great content and message.
I am glad I've never driven a hellcat or I probably would bought one instead I got me a used low mileage scat pack with a shaker hood on it. I have it a year now and still love it for my daily driver . I do think the new V-6 are sharp.
Before I got my 2019 sxt I was going to the dealership for a 2012 Charger R/T with 60 K miles, I got there and they told me it sold (can’t be mad at that) so I asked to check out any other dodge and in march it’ll be a year with the sxt, I love it. I don’t race or take it to the track so just to have the body and car I love is enough, everything else is an extra, plus it does have some pull, it’s not as boring as one would think because it’s not a V8
Thanks for starting your video with me in my Challenger. I had a 1971 & 1973 when I was a kid and am really happy to now have this one. Great message to the young folks out there.
Bought my SXT February this year after coming from a 1999 Nissan Altima I bought in cash, had it for about 2 years as my first car. I love my SXT because its what I worked hard to save up for and I was able to obtain it on my own without help at 20 yrs old. All in All there’s always something faster and at the same time it’s always someone who wishes they had that thing that we may take advantage of. Of course I’d want a Hellcat or a Scat but I love my car and in my eyes due to all the work I’ve put in to it, and How hard I worked for it there is nothing that beats it.
Loved my SXT. It was great. It definitely wasn’t a slouch. After 10 months and my insurance lowered I traded it up for an RT. I absolutely love it. If you don’t feel like you’re ready for a v8 get the SXT or GT. The v8 is powerful no matter what size engine it can be dangerous depending on weather and road conditions. Once people hear your exhaust they all want to race. So a v6 is a great car if you can’t handle the v8. Also the upkeep on the v6’s is cheaper. As soon as you get your v6 you’re going to want to upgrade it and you’re going to be motivated to get the money to get one. It’s a great daily and road car. Plus it’s super sexy and no one cars about the engine unless they’re a boob who has no life.

Love my ‘19 SXT. It’s AWD which makes it my daily driver up here in Indiana, plus its no problem heading up to Wisconsin to visit the in-laws year-round. When I bought my ‘21 Scat Pack I had no intention of trading in the SXT. They’re rooming together in the garage!
I know this video was put out about 3 years ago but It's still on youtube so I watched it. I am retired and used to live in a area where it snowed a lot and I needed a 4 wheel drive most of the year. A few years ago we left that area and now live in central Washington. Weather here is a huge improvement over North Dakota. Anyway I have always loved the body style of the Dodge Challenger. So Last week I traded off my 4 wheel drive and bought a 2023 Dodge Challenger GT Plus Last Call RWD in Plum Crazy. I absolutely love this car. The V6 is plenty for me, Being retired I have no need to race anyone and it get me where I want to go and I'm not spending a lot at the gas station. Thank you for the Video, You are very informative.
I have a 2016 sxt challenger and it’s fucking great. (Went from a 101hp Honda Fit) When your racing you obviously wish their was more power but for me it’s the best first car I could’ve wanted. Great daily and faster than most cars on the road. Wish I had a parent who wanted me to have the car I want and would work on it with me. She says I bought a spy car😂😂
I bought my first challenger this year. I bought a 2020 challenger GT blacktop edition. Where I live we get tons of snow. So I decided to go with the AWD. I love it! Sure it’s not the largest engine, but it’s good enough for me now. Thanks for the great videos. Happy holidays!

I bought a 2020 Challenger SXT back in September and I love it. I was really determined to buy the Scatpack, but my supervisor who owns one talked me out of it and told me start off small then go big. Even though it’s an SXT I get a lot of nice comments
Just rewatched this video after a few years. I realized that your Redeye was my favorite car on your channel. Your new Demon will be nice, but the Redeye was a better street car. I owned a Scatpack for a while but always wanted a Hellcat. I figured that the Hellcat was not attainable because of markups. Eventually I was able to order a base Hellcat and actually get it under sticker. Traded in my Scat, added some cash and was able to get my dream car. I would love to have an SXT as a daily. I just drive an 06 Maxima for my daily. Hopefully it will last until the Hellcat is paid off. Maybe then I can get a gently used SXT. Thanks for all the great content!!

Having a Mustang GT, it’d be hard for me to ever get anything less than a V8, but if any one of my friends or family told me they were getting it, I’d be all for it!!
I got a challenger sxt as my first car! Its an amazing first car! My parents got it for me around a year before I got my full license so I could practice in it and like you said customize it to me! Its got plenty of power for someone just starting off like me and just is an overall awesome car!
I have a 2020 charger gt and it has every feature, don’t get me wrong I like the car but I wouldn’t recommend a v6 to anyone, every time u see and hear another v8 charger/challenger or when u have to constantly explain that it’s a v6 and not a v8 you’ll regret not getting the v8
I had a v6 2015 before it got totaled and i agree 1000% with this statement. What also gets me is just saving just a little bit more, or spending just a little bit more per month, you can get the hemi / scat pack, get exactly what you want and be happy. Only reason to get a gt v6 is if you absolutely don't care about power and just want something that looks cool.
@@qaaziir6724 look up on IG papasmurfgt.... you can make the gt look real dope. Since its a 2020, you'll probably be upside down trading it in, dependingon how much you put down and how much is paid off. If your able to eat the loss (with the negative equity added) and trade in to get exactly what you want, do it. If finance doesn't allow, make it your car and enjoy it knowing in 2- 5 years you'll be able to trade in to something you want.
As a former sailor when I was an E nothing, I wish Dodge would of had the sxt. I agree with you about the motivation to work harder to improve your situation. Work hard whioe your young enjoy your spoils when you get old.
I really appreciate this video bro u drove my motivation more I am currently stressing out on getting the car I really wanted which is exactly what you’re talking about cause am into cars myself my current pathway of study is automotive technology and my teacher has told me things that killed my motivation but I got back up and my parents somewhat it may be the base model with those gray wheels and all but ik I can make it mine am trying get it for under $30,000 myself in great condition with good mileage 💙🙏🏻💰
Than if I really want more like the v8 ik I can go for it when that time is right cause am only 18 bout to be 19 in few weeks or I can upgrade to something nicer, more luxurious if I want like a newer caddy or infinity if I want a change
I own a 2013 300S AWD and looking at either the Challenger SXT or GT AWD for my next car. Need AWD here in New England. And in spite of how a lot of people feel about the V6, it has more than enough power for daily driving. Plus, being almost 70 years old, I’m not out there trying to race anybody.
i test drove an SXT a couple of days back and even tho it's significatly more expensive here in Sweden than in the US, i still couldn't believe how a car like that costs less than your average Volvo or VW. im def gonna buy one in early 2022.
I will be owning one in a couple weeks. Challenger GT AWD. All wheel drive because I live in a state that gets all 4 seasons. I can't wait to get it. Just can't decide what color...lol
Came back from a quick trip to Death Valley National Park the day after Christmas and enjoyed the trip in the Challenger! (also fuel at the Nevada state line if you seriously hate the California gas prices!)
Living in East Harlem NYC in the projects. I need to make stickers and post this video and direct the people here in my community to this powerful gem video. Peace and Love my brother and salute to your daughter I wish her the best of luck and she have a super dad facts because I'm a super dad myself.
I'm new to your channel. Racer X recommend it. I'm a socal local. I have been racing an Ice Cream Van for almost 10 years. I have raced at Barona, Banning, and irwindale. If I do move out of state where it snows I'm going to get the awd charger. I don't want another truck
Very good inspiration! In my family line which I have 7 siblings, and also including my own members, are all foreign domestic car owners. I'm the only owner of a different type of vehicle, Dodge Durango SRT. Goes to say I would go outside the boundary of safety into a hostile exilerating experience! 😎👍
I want to get a V6, been bouncing between the Camaro V6 or the Challenger V6. I already have a V8 4.6L Mercury Grand Marquis. Like hell im going to be able to fuel gas for another v8! Plus I would use it as a heavy daily driver. Going back between work and stuff, road trips, etc. I am also moving out of Florida for a bit so I might get the AWD.
Thinking about getting a R/T probably Charger (but I have always wanted a Challenger) in a few years when I go on recruiting duty, or if my Escape poops out on me. I think they are the perfect balance for a fun daily that is still practical.
Love the videos man! They are inspiring and motivating! Not in any position to tell you what to do but I really Feel like charger content will be a huge spike!!!!! Plus i own a charger 😎lol
The only downside I can see is how difficult these cars are to drive. My son loved his SXT Black top and he could never afford insurance on a Scat Pack. I drive a Scat because it’s a lot of work being cool Dad.
I bought an 18 sxt plus and absolutely love it! The V6 is more than enough for me. I do have a question for you though. Is it possible to make it sound “angrier” or “tougher”? Totally new to these. I’ve added the tint and remote start and plan to keep it as clean as possible but I’d love to have a little beefier sound to it.
I love my sxt. I'm retired and just use it for daily tasks. I'm not out to race in it. However the kids think it is funny how many people always tell me how much they love my car. Just make it yours and own it. Haters are SAD people.
I’ve always wanted a Charger. Does anyone have any issues or frustrations with parking or driving in larger cities? I’m coming from a small sedan so I just wanna know what to expect
Had a 2015 sxt challenger added remote start / changed the stereo to tounch screen 7 in / added rear spoiler with back up camera / fog lights / homelink console/all upgrades were oem then traded it in on a 2019 r/t challenger biggest mistake I made this year the r/t only has 750 miles on it had it for almost a year now. it just sits in the garage
Dude I like the help you teach others. It is sad that everybody doesn't know those things about others. If you hang out with 4 lowlifes then you'll be the 5th lowlife and if you hang out with 4 rich people you'll become the 5th rich person.
I'm seriously thinking about buying a Charger GT as a 2nd car maybe in 2023 or 2024. Are there alot of aftermarket performance parts for the V6 Charger?
I would not say there’s a lot of performance parts. But of course if you wanted to you could look hard and find stuff. I’ve seen people turbo them but anything you do performance wise other than air intake of exhaust, you risk voiding the warranty and for very little return. The GT is a great looking car and great daily driver, so I’d say just get it and add some modest cosmetic mods to make it look nice and then leave it alone. 👍
Maybe consider buying your daughter a new 2021 mustang ecoboost convertible.. add more value and content to your channel for growth and the mustang is also a very nice safe car for a good value. Just an idea.. either way both cars are amazing 🇺🇲😊❤

Brian Kasozi III I’m contemplating trading it in for a 11 mustang gt or camaro ss but idk if it’s worth it
@@qaaziir6724 look up on IG papasmurfgt.... you can make the gt look real dope.
Im still savin fer my awd challenger. There finally at the buy me price. Pretty wild 50% off at 75000 kms. Stay safe and take care
These tips help lot. Thank you so much 👏😇
Great recommendations brother, couldnt have said it better
I own a 2013 300S AWD and looking at either the Challenger SXT or GT AWD for my next car. Need AWD here in New England. And in spite of how a lot of people feel about the V6, it has more than enough power for daily driving. Plus, being almost 70 years old, I’m not out there trying to race anybody.
I bought a 2022 torred red gt. I love it
I wanted a challenger for a long time. I just bought a 2014 100th anniversary sxt with a sunroof. 40k miles beautiful car and different than others.
i test drove an SXT a couple of days back and even tho it's significatly more expensive here in Sweden than in the US, i still couldn't believe how a car like that costs less than your average Volvo or VW.
im def gonna buy one in early 2022.
Good advice. Hope you and your family had a wonderful Christmas!
Cheers to you for spending quality time with kids. Wish I had that.
I will be owning one in a couple weeks. Challenger GT AWD. All wheel drive because I live in a state that gets all 4 seasons. I can't wait to get it. Just can't decide what color...lol
God bless you sr ! 🙏 i’am gone get my self a dodge challenger GT AWD , I really love the classic style of the Dodge Challenger 🙏..thanks again…
Amazing video! Love all your life lessons, will watch all your videos asap ! Thanks 😁👍
I’m staring to love this channel 👏🏽❤️
Would really like a Charger or Challenger. Would take the base model no problem.
Very good inspiration! In my family line which I have 7 siblings, and also including my own members, are all foreign domestic car owners. I'm the only owner of a different type of vehicle, Dodge Durango SRT. Goes to say I would go outside the boundary of safety into a hostile exilerating experience! 😎👍
I love your videos man!! Please keep doing them
I want to get a V6, been bouncing between the Camaro V6 or the Challenger V6.
Great content! Great idea about doing the dad/daughter thing on a vehicle, will be much appreciated in the years to come guaranty. #teamoc
Love the videos man! They are inspiring and motivating! Not in any position to tell you what to do but I really Feel like charger content will be a huge spike!!!!! Plus i own a charger 😎lol
Thanks! I really would love to get a charger too eventually. 👍👍
@@ocmotivator no problem! Well if you do i will be a part of the likes and views!! 😎
Delete the rear mufflers, replace with vibrant #1792
Put in drip in AEM filter.
No probs at all and I’m from Jacksonville Florida
Came here for car stats, left a changed man.
Why is it just sitting in garage no good in gas as daily driver compare to the SXT!
I am thinking to buy one and this helps alot.... thanks man
Dude I like the help you teach others. It is sad that everybody doesn't know those things about others. If you hang out with 4 lowlifes then you'll be the 5th lowlife and if you hang out with 4 rich people you'll become the 5th rich person.
Thank you man this really helped me
The main reason why I dont like the charger sxt is the stock bodykit ... the bodykit of the srt/hellcat is way prettier.
MerryChristmas !
Another year done
Chin up!
@@ocmotivator Thank you! :)
I'd be open to a GT AWD, if you could get a 6speed on it. 16 & Challenger, yikes on that new driver's insurance quote. Lol. Gr8 content.
I love my 2021 sxt
GREAT advice!!!!!!!
I live I NY and only GT comes in AWD . we get snow. So no higher trims for me.
Great choice and great car! 👍👍
My wife is getting me a new car for my birthday at the end of this month.
It's going to be a challenger or charger
I have a 2019 SXT im debating on a GT or just modding my SXT
Same
You should be sponsored by them
Maybe consider buying your daughter a new 2021 mustang ecoboost convertible.. add more value and content to your channel for growth and the mustang is also a very nice safe car for a good value. Just an idea.. either way both cars are amazing 🇺🇲😊❤
Came for a car review, got life advice instead 🤙🏾😎
Damn I wish my parents would have got me a car 😭😭. Anyway congratulations if u ever gave her the car
is this a reliable car, i wanna buy a nee one but there are many negative reviews, what is your opinion buddy?
Not sure what reviews. But I’ve owned 3 challengers with literally zero issues and everyone I know is happy with theirs too.
