I’ve got two Challengers, a 2018 SXT Black Top and a 2023 Scat Pack Plus. I love them both and both are a lot of fun to drive. The SXT is my daily and the Scat is my weekend toy.
Such a great all-around car with all the Challenger styling and can actually work in foul weather. Also, love that SXT Plus interior…wish they’d keep these coming👍
The V6 with the 8 speed auto is fine in the snow without AWD in my experience as well. Snow tires of course are a help as well. My hemi Magnum I had previously? Not so much lol.
Got a 2016... going on 3 years... had chances to upgrade to a RT, but I grew attached to my 6. Don't see myself trading it. But I will add a RT to my collection after this is paid off.
I drive a 22GT with nothing upgrade on the inside and it's nice gas mileage is great. I'm 12,000 miles in 1yr owner road trips are fun ... paddle shifting with the borla Exhaust system is a beast down shift.. also I'm a mountain driver so going off road is nice and I'm mean off road mountain edges water on both sides 40 60ft drops... travels though snow good as well... I live in the north of NY so dodge has a Northeastern package its nice.. out side car I don't baby it... all around good car. Sound system sucks.. but I got 2 old skool kickers in mine..so I bump
Great review, just what I was looking for. Have a Charger GT AWD Special Edition waiting to be shipped. Was debating if I should just go up to the hemi, but I live in MI and wanted the AWD. After watching this, I think I will be just fine.
Wisconsin boy here, i just traded my 19 sxt plus for a 23 sxt plus. both awd . you will not regret it! anyone that thinks these arent worthy is a fool. do yourself a favor and hit some twisty backroads in sport mode and manual shift it, they shine!
I've got an 09 SXT AWD Charger that I've put 160k miles on for a total of 190k. Has a 91 octane tune, otherwise it's stock. Been a bulletproof car, awesome for road trips.
I like the sound of it. I am impressed for the sound even though it is a V6. Most 6 cylinders sound crappy unless it’s Italian. Did you put special exhaust on it?
Ive always wanted a challenger, and i set my eyes on the 2018 challenger sxt plus, cant wait to get it. Onky question is, is the blind spot monitor and optional package
the hood can have good visibility if you dont have the shaker / hood scoop, if your sitting straight up in your seat and or if your his height 6'3. me with back issues, i have to recline my seat to relive that back pressure, otherwise every bump hurts with my back being straight up. and when i test drove the v6 with the hood scoop, it was blocking quite a bit of my view, the hood length/squared off corners IS big. i have a honda accord, those kinda cars have slanted down hoods for parking lot visibility when you swing in or out. the challenger hood is long and stout because of its aggressive profile. my lexus ls400 having a big v8 4.0, its hood is big and long, however, pretty slanted, no custom aftermarket hood scoop. me being relined into my seat i have great visibility. always good to test drive any cars, trucks, suvs BEFORE you make a purchase you might regret. another thing is, people complain about the small side windows of no visibility for blind spot. those people have their side blind spot mirros facing in so glamorize down the sides of their challengers and see the wing they have on.. your rear view mirror shows whats behind you, side mirros needs to be kicked out to show the blind spot on the sides of you. sitting in the seat, you shouldnt see the sides of your car. leaning your dead left or right should reveal the sides of your car giving that full coverage. absolutely nothing wrong with a v6 challenger. its a daily not a race car, you wana constantly race and possibly loose your life, others lives, or prison wrecking it, go for the v8 ect higher performance modals. otherwise the v6 have plenty of power, low end torque. when i barely pushed the gas, dam thing wanted to go fast, its crazy
It looks too nice outside for it to be in Awd and not Rwd. AWD only kicks in with Rain, tire slippage, or a outside temperature of 40 degrees or lower. Scroll through your Dash, it will tell you what you're in at the moment.
Tbh on low dodge move sum v6 to the hemi line so it not all that bad like old v6s that moved like saturn... I 2 had an RT and now GT. It just makes sense....don't fight it... the way I look at it. The kids who won in there Science fair at school... went to nationals and made fun daily drivers with better gas mileage
rented two for 1.5 months now 2023. Props for looks, expecially the purple, engine, handling, trunk, interior is beautiful as it gets. But, as daily driver a lot that's annoying to irritating. from uncomfotable seats for 2023 to too thick a steering wheel. hard to reach and find controls on the dash, a computer that repeatedly does what it wants instead of what u want, is it e.g. really necessary for the windows to partially come down when you get in, or the lights to come on when you get out, etc. things ud put up with on the drag strip that become a repeated pain. hard to reach seat belts. and the coup just fails to cut it if you transport anything in your car. lose a credit card in one of the crevices, good luck ever finding it. More props to Dodge engineers for low torque in the lower gears, makes it much safer to drive, and they avoided the eye damaging headlights. now, if they'd send 'em to ergonic college wed have something.

Wow!! Love it! The more the merrier! SXT is a great daily
The awd v6 is better than people think, and you still get the looks, it’s just the stigma of not having a v8 bandwagon, that deceives people
Exactly well said

Agreed!!

I get it - the 6 is a great daily!! I miss it

I'm going on 3yrs with my '18 GT awd. Bought it used, huge lessions learned.............
I gotta ask cause I’ve been looking up a lot about this car. In a good or bad way?
I got the 22 gt hellraisin purple. I love it so much.
Awesome choice!!!!
Just updated from my 2017 SXT Blacktop Contusion Blue to a 2023 GT Plus Blacktop Pitch Black. Some nice discounts out there, especially for the V6s.

they are truly awesome cars@@mattpaparella8821
“Drives smaller than it looks”. Was waiting for the zinger.

Amazing! Great testimonial!! Thanks for that!
I have a 2018 Chrysler 300S AWD 3.6L same color dual panel glass roof...LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!
It’s a fantastic machine!!!
Can confirm, in the manual Challenger the cup holders are in the way. Always hated that about mine.
Dang . . . Seems like a major inconvenience
Lol yup shit suxs
Second that.
I can attest this car is really impressive!
Thank you 🙏🏻 sir!
Where’s the race with Shane’s Camry. Would be a good one.
Good idea

I know you mentioned Borla. ( I commented part way into watching the video)
Yes exactly the BORLA ATAK
My N/A Taurus v6, i always say i wish it was louder. Has a deep throaty sound to it
The awd also is a 3.07 gear ratio.
Ive always wanted a challenger, and i set my eyes on the 2018 challenger sxt plus, cant wait to get it. Onky question is, is the blind spot monitor and optional package
Yes and I feel like it’s a critical thing for any coup - if possible get it
What kinda exhaust set up is that ? I just got a GT and got a rear res delete but was wanting a deeper tone similiar to this one.
This is a Borla ATAK cat back exhaust. Very happy with it

Where can i get that " Challenger " lettering that you have on the side?
Actually ordered it on Amazon! Let me know if you have trouble locating it.
I have 30xxx miles on my 2022 sxt plus and love it minus the rear spacing for my kids lol but they still fit in there 😂
Yeah these things run forever !!

Sport mode drops it into AWD as well. I would not have bought it if I could not manually select AWD
Just very curious why you went from a scat to the v6 , I love my scat I can’t imagine going with less power ?
Oh I did not (Jared). I had the scat AND the V6. Shane did sell his scat for financial reasons.

Nice. I'm racist. But still like it! Keep up the great work 👍
It sounds like a 350z 😂
it does!
