Hi. I understand how worried you are. I was scared that my face would not be normal. My face felt numb and sore as well as my tongue. Start the exercise asap. I started to see results in 2 weeks. It's been almost 2 months since my Bell's Palsy and my face is back to normal with the exception around my mouth area which is completely normal. People can't believe that l had Bell's Palsy two months ago. Be faithful in your exercise. Massage your face muscles that is affected and be gentle with the massage because the muscles will be sore. I will keep you in my prayers and let me know how your process is going. 🙏

Well Bell's palsy recovery is a time-consuming process, I got it in mid of Oct 2023, and in 4-5 months I recovered almost 99%....Dr explained a very useful exercise in the video. Please be patient, consult with your primary Dr and physiotherapist, and give time to your muscles for recovery because it always takes time. Recovery time is different for every person but 1 month to 4 months mostly people can recover.

It will get better… I can’t even say I am in recovery anymore because well tbh I’m not, I’m 24 and I still HAVE Bell’s palsy. I got Bell’s palsy when I was 15 turning 16. 9 years later, and idk if it’s cause my family love me and don’t want to hurt my feelings, but they tell me they forget that I have Bell’s palsy. I still get headaches especially on one side, I have Bell’s palsy on my right side but my left side hurts a lil bit more when I’m stressed out. I still get watery eyes, and my eyes burn sometimes. It will get better for you guys. I guess I am that small percentage that have this for the rest of my life. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Hi, im Bruce, im 59. At 9:52 pm June 3rd my vision became blurry followed by double vision, body sweats, excessive vomiting then the right side of my face was paralyzed. June 4th at 11:00am I was rushed to the hospital and by 12:30pm I was diagnosed with Bell's Palsy. Not a stroke thank God. Today is June 18th. I can see straight. I can walk. My left ear is sore and sounds kinda hurt, my right side of my face is still 95% paralyzed but I'm improving every day. From what I've read this can all relapse in 10 years. Let's all keep in contact with our progress.

I was diagnosed on June 4th. Today is July 12th, I'm doing much better, still no movement on the right side if my face, my right eye still leaks tears. I can see better and the taste on the right side of my tungue is coming back. I'm doing these exercises daily, it has helped a little. I'll check back in at my 8 week mark.

Thank you for this video. Last May I was hit with Bells on the right side of my face. Doing your exercises has help greatly. The one question I have is when I do any of the exercises on my forehead I hear a cracking sound like my bones are breaking. Is this normal?

I woke up on 3/10 & realized something was wrong. Immediately went to doc. & diagnosed with Bells Palsy. They put me on steriods and Valtrex for 7 days. It seemed to get worse over the first 3 days. By the 4th day tingling in my face started. Its 13 days now & i was hoping to see improvement. Will try these exercises. Have fatigue, facial, jaw & ear pain.

Thank you so much for this! Would you possibly be able to tell me whether there's a cutoff length of time, after which recovery/improvement is impossible? I've had Bell's Palsy for 14 years, but I only recently found out that's what it is.

I had infection in my left ear and a little discomfort just opposite of the entire ear , went to doctor she gave me antibiotic ear drops but it didn't help and 3 days later felt funny drinking tea as I couldn't drink properly from the left side of my lips , next day went to doctor and discovered on Tuesday 12th March 2024 that its bells palsy , been on steroids since then and noticed some improvement. Will continue with these exercises.

This message goes to a new patient diagnosed with bells palsy. The game changer will be taking steroids (prednisolone) as soon as your diagnosed for with even you take as low as 10mg twice a day for atleast 2-3 weeks, 7 days aren't enough. I repeat , if you want to heal faster take steroids. The first week will be the worst but dnt stop taking steroids
