Doctor, I wish to express my appreciation to you giving a comprehensive & concise explanation of Bells Palsy. I have this condition about 18 days ago. An ENT doctor suggested I could have a tumour or something malignant, which made me very worried. After your explanation, I now know that what I have is Bells Palsy and the cause is the Lower Motor Neuron. I am very much relieved. Thank you Doctor Waqas.

This was a very well explained and easy to understand video. Thank you.
I have suffered RHS for over 4 mths now.
My facial drooping is 95% better, but the eye won’t fully blink or close yet and my mouth is still immobile.
I do have a contracture of the muscle up to the right cheek, but if I press on it in the right spot to release the muscle, my mouth moves much easier to talk. I’m going to try acupuncture for that. 🤷🏽‍♀️
I wanted to clarify something. When someone says their face is numb, I don’t think they understand the difference between paralysis & numbness, because I didn’t have any numbness but called it that at first. My dentist showed me that my face was not numb but just paralyzed. He explained the difference in ‘motor’ & ‘sensory’ nerves.
Thank you again for the very thorough explanation!
The diagrams helped and were excellent!

Thank you for your clear and thorough explanation. I now know that this is the condition I have. I have had Herpes Simplex since a child and the doctors could not find a cause for the cankor sores I experienced every month until I was 28. At this time, I visited a dentist because my whole mouth was sore and I thought I had some major dental problems.

I'm so glad I found your channel. Your videos show how much you love teaching. It all in your expressions. Such glow when you are explaining something. Sir can you please do symptoms to diagnosis type videos. Sometimes in OPD when the patient comes with no previous history and vague symptoms. Which are yet to ve investigated. I am mostly lost when majorty of female patients here in Pakistan arrive with symptoms like generalised muscular pains especially in the upper back and muscle spasms. Their labs usually come out normal. I would really like a video on your approach to such vague symptoms which sometimes make you clueless. Thanks in advance.

Dear Dr. Mubashar Abrar, thank you very much for your kind words. I will surely make video on the topic you mentioned. It is one the most common thing faced by doctors. In such cases always have the approach to rule out all major pathologies. You are doing the very right thing. I will try my best to cover this broad topic for you. 😊

If a patient with a history of high blood pressure and chronic renal disease comes to the emergency room complaining of one side, the right side numbness and tingling sensations ( from the face to the leg) and the BP is 220/110 mmhg and only presents Ataxia in physical findings. And the TAC is negative.. what is the level of the lesion in the brain? And what could be the presumption diagnosis?
