All new the 2023 Acura Integra hopes to rekindle a long lost love and appreciation for affordable, low powered sports cars, like the Volkswagen GTI, BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe, and Audi A3. Built on the same chassis as the Civic Si, can the 2023 Acura Integra A-Spec find its groove in a market that's had trouble gaining traction in the US? Let's find out!
Huge thank you to Ira Acura for letting me stop by to film the 2023 Acura Integra A-Spec!

I just paid a deposit an A Spec package today. I found this video because I wanted to see a review of one without the technology package specifically. I feel like I may be missing out a little on the 9 inch touchscreen, but this video convinced me that I will be more than satisfied with what I'm getting. I definitely identify as someone that could not get a Civic hatchback. I've tried for the past 6 months and the dealers told me it would take 6 months to get and marked those up so much that I am literally getting this Integra for 3K less than the prices quoted to me by my local Honda dealers! I'm excited. I just hope the the stereo on the non tech pkg is at least slightly above adequate and I'll be more than pleased.
I got one in stock. I work for a Honda/Acura dealership in Illinois!!!
MSRP, taxes, title and fees only
Excellent Review Mike!!!
Nice job on the review!
Great review should
Be getting mine next week!
It's not a car without a clutch! Thank you Acura for keeping manual alive
🙄
acura is one of my favorite brands, def gonna get one in the near future
Great review
Great review. I bought this model a few weeks ago, and it's awesome.

9th day in and I love it and my wife loves it and children too. I loved my 1992 4 door white with all blue interior and I love my 2023 Elite a spec Canada 🇨🇦 version and love it for what it is not based on other brands or past. Fast enough, luxurious enough, more than the awesome SI enough, technology enough, ride handling and performance more than enough....fun factors...amazing and awesome.
You forgot fuel efficiency
I went there today. The integration looks even better in person
Thanks
Great review! Love the car!
I love Acura
I bought a 2024 Integra base model to replace my 2015 VW Golf 1.8 TSI S 5MT 2-door. I like the extra power the Integra offers over the Golf; how the car feels a bit more premium than mainstream offerings; the controls are quite easy to use; the convenience features like the keyless entry, push-button start, Apple CarPlay and five-door hatchback practicality; and upscale features like automatic climate control, heated seats, and a sunroof. I also like how I am driving something uncommon as I see a lot more 11th-generation Civics on the roads than new Integras, along with the free routine maintenance that comes with the car. Overall, I feel the car is a good value package for those who are looking for something fun to drive, reliable, upscale, and practical.
The standard CVT doesn't bother me as much as I thought it would. I like the Brake Hold feature for the stop-and-go driving that's typical around the Boston area, and I actually feel refreshed when I arrive at my destination, as I wasn't working my legs and arms out by shifting gears (that said, I loved the manual transmission of my Golf and if the 6MT was available in the base Integra, I would have bought it).
Hey do you ever feel any regret buying the base model and not the Aspec with technology package? What was your out the door price for your base model?
@@longpham5802 I have no regrets. The car has what I was looking for to replace my Golf, and the technology is upgraded enough from my old car to satisfy me.
I paid about $32,800 before any taxes, accessories, and any fees.
is the mini integra on the gauge cluster only in american versions? it only shows up for me when I turn on lane keeping assist
Talking in that theirs not any other good options of cars out their except c class worth buying this probably the best so far 👌
At the time 5:21 you mention that it has folding side mirrors, is this correct?
Nice reveiw turtle speed
Just bought one, an A Spec Trim in liquid carbon with red interior.
I wonder if Acura will bring back the Legend name?
I can’t wait to own one day! My love of cars began with the 89 Integra.
234hp is awesome for it
Disappointed with ambient lighting. It should be like the MDX. As a luxury brand, it should have a panoramic sunroof and a larger infotainment screen. The dashboard should be inspired by the MDX in order to create a distinctive image from the Civic.
Why the need to revive the Integra? How's it different from the TLX, RLX, ILX?
Less than 3000lbs, so fun handling. Has an LSD and manual trans which other cars in this class don’t have. The TLX is super nice but too heavy for what a lot of people want.
@@darrenmathias9384 my old Integra was 2645lbs, we going backwards
What kind of rationality is that. Name one modern car that weighs less than its predecessor from 20 years ago. If you had an accident at over 50 mph in this car, you could walk away without even a concussion. If you had an accident at over 50 mph in your old Integra, chances are high you would be dead.
Yet this car is faster than an Integra type R which had 200hp and weighs less and still is fun to toss around. Would you rather buy one of the German competitors that weigh 500-1000lbs more than this?
@@ThatGuy-qg4ww it was also only 130 HP and 120 ft lbs of torque
Get this, someone told me when they discontinue the RSX in 2011, Acura would bring a better sports car. I was excited. I was stoked. Turns out it was the ILX. Complete disappointment! Finallllllly 2022, Acura restored my faith in Acura.
Test drove this A-spec model with CVT. From a start, only comes to life above 20 mph. Noise level only passable. AC fan too noisy. Bumpier than I like. At 6’4” in back seat my head hits roof. Leg room is fine. In driver’s seat, no problems. Steering is fabulous. Don’t like sitting in back - no AC , can’t see anything forward unless you lean into center and peer around front seats. Lots of cargo space with back seats folded down.
at 6ft 4 you really shouldn't even be in the market for sport sedans or coupes or really even cars in general lol. go get an suv or truck ya giant
Lmao go get a bus bro
@@FabricateFrog bout made me spit out my coffee.
Basically a 10th gen sports touring civic
11th
Nice looking car but I wouldn't buy it or any vehicle with a cvt transmission.
I will wait for this used. At 35k I would get the new Kia Sportage.
Getting a brand new car these days is only $3k-5k more; might as well get brand new if you can wait
@@clifflaw yea it’s crazy right now. 100k cars in the high twenties
@@RicTone that’s stupid. Crazy times.
this car used is like 41k in today's market lmao good luck with that bud
35k you can get a 2023 sportage hybrid that would tear this up
i guess kia has a better facility and technology available. like heat and air-vent at rear seats. blind side showing, more horse power. better in and out design. i just saw yesterday. calling something sporty but for US some function are not available as same. i guess will be available later
On paper they have the same HP. However dynos are showing around 230 for the Acura stock. The Kia may look nice at first but after a couple of months take a look at the paint and you will see exactly where Kia went "cheaper" on. The same goes with Hyundai. In order to be so competitive against the big boys they had to cut costs somewhere and it is clearly the paint and even the interior plastic parts feel cheaper.
🤔 all I see is a renamed ILX. the Integra should have came back as Honda's coupe to replace the canceled Civic coupe. in Japan, the Integra was always badged as a Honda so it would have been cool if it returned to the U.S. market that way...
TLX rear seat room is even worse.
Tlx is Looooooong af did not like it
The gr Corolla will blow this thing out of the water. Such shame they brought to the name integra
GR Corolla?? Really.
The Corolla is an ugly little car.
Is the GR better looking?
🤦
I thought about the gr Corolla but black interior and no sunroof led me to buy the Integra with MT.
This is nice of youre looking for something sporty but I feel like you're paying for the acura badge and perceived performance . A hyundai sonata provides more features at a better price.
It should be kept in mind though, that the is a premium vehicle, and many people like this appearance. I will agree that many may choose this for the nameplate and badging.
hyundai is notorious for not honouring warranties and having shotty transmissions so nty. they also just got sued for 20m over dinging peoples credit scores so much and lost that case so theres another reason.
This is a Brand that ll keep fan-boys but not enough to mass produce …10yrs these will be Pennie’s .
F the Integra They destroyed it when they brought the RSX. They should of kept the 3rd generation with the K-motor. This new crap design just to bring the Integra wording back? I lost all respect for HONDA's. I was a proud owner of a modified 1999 Integra with a GS/VTEC (JDM/OEM). I do not want to know what the price tag on this new crap Integra.
Well I do agree with you but I’m 30 and I need a nice daily I just ordered this in apex blue full spec it’s a little pricey but it’ll be fine atleast gas powered and 30+ mpg sure! I’ll keep my f250 for snow season lol
My stock 2007 Camry has MORE horsepower than this car. Such a trash platform.
the base model 2007 makes 213 horsepower. this base makes 234. also different companies so it really shouldn’t matter considering it’s 16 years newer.
@@willgainor6229 it’s an SE v6. 268 horsepower.
I love Acura
