Let me know what you guys think! Thank you for all the support guys 2021 is going to be awesome
I didn't know Muscle Rice was a thing 🤣
I own a 2011 Challenger srt8 has only has 100,900 miles. Great mileage for almost 10 yrs.
Build I’m doing . Any advice? On what to do. So far I have a whipple stage 2, BBk long tube, BBk 90mm T-body, leg maker CAI, BBk high flow cats , griptec pulley, Granitelli 180 stat.
Thinking maybe a comp cam as well ?
That’s over priced for a v6. I got my 2018 sxt+ blacktop edition with 30k miles for 23k
Before warranty... 😅
I owned a 13 Redline. It's actually an RT with a V6. Suspension, brakes, rear diff are all RT. Was part of the package for the Redline. Those wheels are $600 a piece too. Good luck
That dealership needs to remove those badges ASAP.
agreed
Isn't that considered "false representation of an item" since its for sale? If so they could be met with legal action but I'm no legal Scholar or anything so I honestly wouldn't know
No because it wasn't advertised as an SRT or even a V8.
Juiceboxx TM they’re gonna find a sucker to pay SRT price for it
Right
Nothing like the roar of an American 🇺🇸 V8.
Agreed! Sounds amazing
Especially the Crown Victoria v8 roar. ruclips.net/video/IlaDkxFKD9U/видео.html
I just bombed through 16" of snow in my V6 GT while 4 cars were stuck in my lot .... lol. Couldn't be happier ..... Not all V6 owners are in the 'can't afford the V8' club.
Nothing like having AWD! You rip through bad weather like it's nothing. My RWD Charger is brutal to use in the snow. Keep on enjoying that thing.
Tbh if they put a turbo in it (and probably a lot of other mods/work) and made it one of those sleeper v6s I wouldn't even be mad about the badge I'd be impressed.
I saw a turbo V6 Challenger throwing up some times the other day. I think it's called prodigy performance
@@RTLife I gotta look that up later then. Thanks for the recommendation.
Ripp also makes superchargers for the 3.6
When you want to determine trim levels pay attention to the brake system. All SRT models come with brembo brakes.
Ok, so this was like the first Chally "SRT" Walt bought his son in Breaking Bad, a 6 cylinder model LoL. The 2nd was genuine when he also picked up the black Chrysler SRT.
I loved that damn show!
Happy New Year bros! I'd imagined if BB was still taping, Heisenberg woulda picked up a new 2021 Ram TRX Hellcat to make his desert runs more effortless.
the twin turbo pentastar build look like a hell of alot of fun
Ive seen a turbo v6 & it was putting up some solid times
Lmao u got me fool i was almost about to buy it challenge some people and saying hey who wants to race my srt 😆😆😆😆
hahahaa - that would be really funny!
Ugh I can't stand upbadging. What's the point of making it look like an SRT when it doesn't actually have the power to back it up?
I agree. Don't make it look like something it's not. The owner did do a solid job of keeping it in good condition though.
NY to AZ that’s my dealership security dodge ask for Jonathan bought and leased plenty of vehicles there always took care of me just saying 😀
They have the best selection around me - hands down
I didn't like them when I went down and saw the PCP charger..just didn't get the feel that they would budge pricing. So ordered a 2021 instead from indiana
Everything is wrong with a v6....thats a chic car that even my woman wouldn't drive.....
I see a lot of that here in Alanta 😂You can just look at the Calibers and tell 😁Thanks for the video have a great new year👍😎
No dont buy it , there's a video of a guy that put alot of money into his v6 , supercharged , cage , etc , and he still got smoked by a stock scat pack , your better off with a rt or older srt8, the v6 is just a money pit and you'll get that v8 rumble
Funny, I saw the same video. Dude was talking serious stuff about smoking hellcats then goes and gets gapped by a scat. He'd have trouble with my cammed r/t
@@distantlogik he sold it and bought a scat pack
I like the look, but not the upbadging. LOL Be pretty expensive to do a 6.1 swap. Would be neat if you did, but spendy! I have been toying with the idea of trading my 04 Camry for an AWD V6 Challenger. I need a winter beater with AWD. This last winter storm dropped 8-10" and I couldn't get around.
The AWD is a solid option for us that have tough winters - no doubt about it.
Calipers, wheels and gauges
Yes those are key give aways
Dealership needs to take them badges off if they are selling that car just in case a person actually is misinformed and believes it’s a srt8.
I think that the 300s should atleast have a 392 option for the newer models. People like mopars and I think they would sell. I love my 300s v6 and its a fun car if you build it but you have to put a little bit of money into it. But if you just want to do some cheap mods to a v6 get a nice air intake with an ECU tune and a throttle body spacer.
Will soon purchase a hellcat ..
So exicted !!
It is disappointing that it wasn't an srt8. I almost had one but the dealer would not go down 2k more.
I always liked the V6 Redeye. However, I wouldn't trust buying a car from someone that slapped SRT badges onto it. If he (probably a 19 year old kid) pretended it was an SRT, he likely ragged on it. Also, the early Pentastars had cylinder head problems that may have been resolved by 2013 (like this car is) but I'm not 100% sure. My wife's 2012 Journey had the left cylinder head replaced under warranty once it developed the dreaded start-up death rattle. Thought I heard a bit of a rattle when you fired it up...not sure. Just be careful, bro. It appears to be in good shape otherwise.
But I've heard v6 isn't as good or as reliable as the hemi v8 those srt8 are legendary tho hard to find on the road since now all the new dodges are on the road
That up badging is gonna be the death of someone especially with people stealing all these Hellcats and scat packs!💯🤦 Still a NICE car none the less!
As soon as I saw the red rim, barrel and rallye stripe, I knew it was a V6 Rallye Redline. I Have a '13 R/T Redline, hence my username.
I hate people who do this. I understand kids who do it because they’re young and wish they had something they don’t but for a older guy to do it is just pathetic
I paid 17 for my RT but the only 40,000 miles on it and it's a 2012
that's a solid deal. Around me, I don't believe that would be available.
You got robbed!!! Got my 2019 rt for 21,000 last year. They giving them away practically.
@@bertoh5544 you got to remember it all depends on where you live. I live in California which it's a steal for that out here considering the low miles. most of the 2017 and 18 and 19 I was looking at had just as much or more miles as mine and I can modify mine a lot easier I don't have to worry about PCM changes or anything like that. plus mine had the Hurst Billet shift kit already installed K&N intake and full stainless steel exhaust with carbon fiber tips so yes i got a steal
@@rogergranville6668 SMH Bro I got my shit at Huntington Beach Dodge with 26,000 miles on it. You got robbed!!!
You got badge baited. I personally don't care if someone upbadges a car. I won't buy an upbadged car but someone can do it.
it was annoying me how I couldn't find that Challenger online. They always put their inventory on Cars.com
@@RTLife Mine was a different but similar struggle. Try checking the manual trans filter. So many shiftable automatics pop up it seems insurmountable.
Just saw a scatpat with hellcat badges a week ago
I mean scatpack😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I see a lot of 6.1 challengers in Texas.
Couldnt pay me to sit in the driver seat of that sxt. 5000lb slushbox auto powered by a 3.6 with a leaky autozone spec exhaust. Anyone thats willing to upbadge their V6 is probably not someone you wanna buy a car from next.
Lol no.
hahaha
Oh so its upbadged lol damn I see so many people doing that
Putting SRT badges on a V6 is ridicules. I wouldn't pay almost 20 grand for it either. If I paid that kind of money, I would get an R/T with the manual transmission. I wouldn't want a car that drives the same way you have now. Generic transportation that's no fun to drive doesn't do it for me. The V8 sound and 3.70 gears would make this car really fun to drive and you'd still have room for the kids. It wouldn't be a race car. However, the throttle response would be good and you wouldn't be doing 1 wheel peels. It would be a nice cruiser.
yah I would only consider that price tag (2013) if it had an SRT engine in it (6.1/392).
I've seen a v6 hellcat here in the town I live in. Huge decals on the side, the badges and straight piped sounds like a crappy weedeater
Have you said what's up to him?! hahaha
Don’t think I would try to mod it..🤪
i saw a v6 charger rt awd hellcat 392 lmao today
@@user-kj7hx6uj3e Sounds like the dude @ my job..!!!🤪
I haven't gotten a chance to ask why and honestly don't know if I want to know. I assume they might be inbred which is a common occurrence here in Southern Illinois along with ample amounts of meth
I don't like exhaust kits on V6s...I just don't.
Makes the charger/challenger sound very import like. is that why?
@@RTLife exactly why. Sounds more like a Honda civic. There is a guy on here who pimped out a chevy Malibu. He put exhaust on it and it too sounds like a Honda.
Nicer quiet 🤫.. can’t even hear them running...one of the ten best v6 ‘s ... 👍
In my opinion all v6’s sound the same no matter what exhuast you put on them
You can have a better sounding performance exhaust on a V6, provided you stay conservative with the "sound" / Example: Magnaflow Axle Back. Done!
The dealer must remove those badges. That’s just wrong!!
yah I told them they should consider removing them.
Well in the online sale it says rallye that’s a big indication that’s a V6. As long they didn’t say SRT on the online form
What gave it away was the redline rims them come on V6 and the chin spoiler was not Srt
My 2014 redline edition rt came with the same wheels.
You called it in the last video V6 - nicely done.
Imagine the previous owner watching this video 😅
That would be kind of funny
🤣
I mean..
it’s not you........... is it 😳
Way over priced for a 3.6L and 7 years old !
Inflation is real

@@Basem.FreddyI buy cars in cash, never finance, like most people do.
I always check the brake calipers if I’m curious because it’s always a tell tale sign. Stock wheels and calipers are not the easiest to change for an upbadger
Very true - when I 1st saw it, I did a quick once over. Didn't think to really look closer at that point.
Up badger...😆
The exhaust is a dead giveaway
Can’t really true that either; guys with SXT’s and R/T’s are starting to do SRT brake swaps.
Them little Up Badging Gremlins again! A Cute lil SRT 8 lol that was a classic car lot. It was a nice v6 the build the seats ect, nice color, that was a fun veiw appreciate it! Keep well Cheers!Bud.
That place has a nice selection of rides. This one really stood out - looks great.
Couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the price it said 18 G's that's insane that is way too much. I see those for sale all the time for about 9 or 10 thousand
yah the price tag is healthy - you can get much better deals.
Its all about the area its being sold in
Let me tell you, I was one happy camper when I traded my v6 for a v8. It’s only an R/T but man is it way more fun than the v6
Agreed.I did the exact thing
The notification caught me off gaurd

Don't they are weak
Def going to pass - look at that price tag!
The dealership needs to take those badges off sooner rather than later.
yah I told them they should - false advertising
@SRT HELLCAT they're talking about srt badges on the v6
In 20 or 30 years,you'll see a LOT of these,just like the classic R/T
yah these Challengers are going to be worth something
You right I have a 2010 rt with 80k just gone leave it stored
You see a lot now. Sad thing is that it don’t help when dodge puts out a new line up and upgrades all the v6s and rt trim levels and puts hellcat hoods on them. So now the one major body style of the hellcat and how to identify it being a hellcat on the road w/o looking under the hood, has been taken away. So now when you see all these challengers, you can’t tell the difference anymore. Just takes away the character and value of it. So what are they going to do next, put red eye hoods on the v6s?..I seen a v6 hellcat other day and asked the guy where his hood went? He didn’t know what to say. He had a SXT hood. I was like where’s the brembos😆 the hellcat badges weren’t even on right... smfh
Robert Hünter , yeah that was the meaning in my post. Guess I shoulda expanded on the thought, but you did so nicely. The Musclecars like mine, which is a decoded 68 R/T Charger that I've had since high school is genuine. However for every R/T, there is a Hundred 318 "Tribute/Clone" R/Ts out there. Hope these new ones have a fender tag like mine, coz its gonna lead to a lot of F'ery in 20-30 years when the prices for these are as crazy as the original muscle, like mine. Funny thing, bought mine the summer of 89 for $1,100 not caring about what was original & what wasn't. Only discovered the fender code meaning in the late 90s
No way these challengers are going to be running in 20 years
I had a 2014 V6 Charger. Excellent gas mileage and roomy!! 😊
They're solid daily drivers no doubt about it.
No, dont buy it, lol
hahaaha Def will pass on this!
Please don’t
My last vehicle before I left for Arizona was a ram 3500 dually 2017 still have it here in the desert 🌵 with my srt 2018 Durango the big dealership here in called Earnhardt always a big selection
Hows that SRT treating you? They're nice rides man
@@RTLife I love it I did the cat back from Mopar
Get a better price and maybe it could be good content for you. Even with all the hate, there are some people that would be interested. On the flip side, you'd be spending money on this thing when you could use it towards the RT🤔.
I wouldn't mind doing a swap on that Challenger - the price would have to come down a lot though. Imagine a nice hellcat swap in that - looks great.
@@RTLife Now that is some good content. I'll be all over seeing that. You should then badge it back to SXT 🤣 That would make people double take and break some necks.
I had one pass me on the highway
Challenger Redline?
@@RTLife that's what it looks like

R/T Life being too nice lmao. Just tell it how it is🤣🤣🤣
LOL - dancing a fine line! Sometimes these V6 videos get crazy in the comments section hahaa
The dealership needs to pop those badges off.
100% agreed. I told them - they def need to rip them off.
I like the older interior too, it pays homage to the 1970 Challenger much better; the gauges, the shape of the dashboard, the shifter -- where the 2015's and up have completely diverged. The interiors on 15'+ has nothing to do with the 1970 Challenger.
yah the prior gen Challenger has such a cool old school feel to it. Def noticed it while sitting in that Challenger.
New isnt bad. Cant always be stuck in tee he past
I don't know man I got my 2013 RT for just Under 20k are they really asking that much?
Yah the price is a bit much for that
Its a fully loaded V6 with only 56k miles you dont find many with the info screen. Ive seen 13-14 RTs with that many miles and they still ask $22-$25k for them
@@RTLife I agree, it has to be a really low mile car, like 20k miles or less with a mint interior. But here in Cali, they usually sell for like 14-16k
@ItachiTheSuperSaiyan Not so sure about that. Probably was a 3 year lease and thats a fuckton of miles for 3 years, probably got driven hard. my 2018 RT has 14k miles and bluebook value is around 32k for a private seller and 28k for trade. I will be buying a hellcat next year :)
What a bunch of clowns! That, is so misleading! I know guys that would have got hostile about that! Then again......if he had saaaay... A couple of turbos , and bottles under the hood.... who knows!?!?? He probably could blow off ah Hellcat!

@@nathanielheyward , I agree, but, you and I, like true enthusiast that we are, think about horsepower gains, no matter what size the engine is. I belong to several clubs, not only MOPAR, and seen EVERYTHING dealing with size's, turbos, ect.!

There is nothing wrong with the 3.6 but shouldn't have SRT BADGES
Read the title three times before I finally watched it 🤨
hahaha
Interesting... perhaps if it wasn't for the SRT-8 badge, it would be more acceptable. Don't upbadge people, it's just not right.
the upbadging is the reason most criticized this Challenger. def a big nono in the car community
Hilarious!!!🤣🤣
I was stumped trying to find this thing on Cars.com - they always put their cars up!
Yeah that's kind of deal breaker I have a v6 as my daily driver but I own two three hundreds ones SRT the other one is a limited I have done some work to it I have a badge on it that says SRT design it is influenced by SRT I do have SRT performance pages but it is no SRT try to point that out to people. even to my mechanic who was like your brakes are a little too small LOL
yah I've seen that - SRT style badging. I don't think there is anything wrong with that, just like SRT powered. Just having SRT or SRT8 on a non-SRT is a big NO-NO.
Stick with V8s. They have more customizations like performance cams and headers unlike the v6......but....you could build a sleeper.
I agree - the V8 is a much better platform because of the aftermarket support
That's a 2013 redline rallye. V6 engine that has been upbadged. How I know, I owned a car just like this one without the srt emblems added.
Nailed it. That's exactly what it was - good call. They're good looking rides
I cant believe that dealership puts the Redeyes on the lot like that. Crazy. Our CDJR dealership puts all SRT vehicles in the show room.
That place has the best selection of used chargers & challengers. I doubt they have room for all the SRT’s inside. Only new cars are displayed inside.
Read the title on and by PURE uncontrollable impulse blurted out, "Bitch, what the fuck?!" in the middle of a work meeting. Thanks, man! (p.s. fml)
hahahaa - I hear you on that! When I found out what this was I was like WTF
Is this AWD? I say buy a V6 in AWD and twin turbo it, but definitely not a V6 in rear
No this is RWD. Twin Turbo AWD would be a nice setup!
@@RTLife The awd is possibly the only reason to buy the v6. The RT isn't much more expensive, and you get a v8.
I rode in a "stock" awd v6 charger at a car meet last year. We raced a whole bunch of different cars and the only one that beat this guy was some Asian dude in a 350z with no hood, a big ass turbo, and a clear driver mod and he still got roasted off the line. He was beating 392s and r/t's all day off the line. Swear to God. He told me it was stock and I never got a chance to look under the hood, but I was shocked, and I own a 392, so I have a decent point of reference for this.
@@asthecrowflies1201 Definitely wasn't stock😂. Unless you got gapped after the launch. AWD will always launch faster than RWD.
I don’t know why anyone would take this car and upbadge it to make it look like it’s a different car. That’s so stupid.
I’ve never understood upbadging. Makes you look silly to other car guys.
Probably had a procharger at one point got up badged then saw your video about a procharged v6 and traded it but kept his procharger 😂

Yah upbadging is a big no-no
It’s a Dodge Challenger 220 Fake Pack.
6.1's HAVE A HEMI BADGE ON THE FRONT FENDERS
Maybe the owner was planning a 6.1 Hemi swap one day..found out the cost bailed&traded it in.
In the early 90's my buddy had a like new orange 318 Challenger,he added the duel exhaust rear valance(he had single still) He bought the RT hood and added 440 Magnum badges and RT badges on the side...we laughed even we were Mopar guys..2 years later he added a very wicked 440 Magnum, duel exhaust and well we didn't laugh at him anymore! He beat my 68 440 Charger RT that ran high 12's..I then swapped my cam did head work and still couldn't catch him lol..He was low 11's when we finally went to the track!! I was 12.0's oh well..
Reminds me of my first car. It was a '91 firebird with a jammed good latch, was a clean car and guy told us it was a 305 V8. I was 16, didn't know diddly about cars or checking VIN numbers. Turned out it was the 3.1L V6 with an exhaust. I got duped, coulda' had a V8 🤦♂️
As a V6 owner...Debadge all day but NEVER NEVER upbadge ..for this reason🤦🏽♀️
That’s overpriced. I got a 2011 RT fully loaded with 67k miles for $15,500. This car is almost perfect except a couple little knicks on the fender. Just an extra 8k miles, 2 years older, and $5,400 less for an upgrade in my deal.
I have a V6 Blacktop edition Challenger.
On my "lottery list" is a 426 create motor to make it an incognito car.
Since it is "lottery list" I would care if it cost more than buying a new 392 Challenger. 😄😁😆
Selling point would be that VIN links to V6. So lower insurance and "property tax." 😉
140mph on the dash gave it away😭

Bought my Mongoose BMX there at sunrise cyclery in 1985.
Bought my 09 Ram Hemi brand new at Security Dodge in 09, and will very shortly be going back for a 20 or 21 challenger!
Just disappointing and sad really. Just adds more fuel to anyone who tries to race this and wins thinking they beat an srt when in reality they beat a 4200lb brick with a v6.
Did it have the 4 piston Brembo's? That would be a dead giveaway. Most people won't go through that expense.
My son bought a 2017 Challenger GT so got higher trim level, with 4weel drive, so drivable in the winter, only 8990 on odometer, for same price earlier this year. He loves his Mopar but your dealer is doing a price rip-off on a much older & higher milage vehicle. I suspect the dealer did the rebadge to SRT. I wouldn't trust these guys if their tongues came notreized.
Idk why people are ashamed of what they have. I got a v6 challenger and wouldn't up badge ever.
It does its purpose and it's still a fun car to drive, but if I ever want a V8 and have the money I'd get one over up badging. A V6 challenger is still a very nice car - much better than my old 07 Mini Cooper S. That thing was unreliable and overall a money sink.
Personally I probably wouldn't buy it. If the guy upbadged it, I wonder what else he did. I'd go for the red one for sure!
