Yeah, that pentastar is a pretty good engine. I have the 5.7, and that v6 can keep up with me. With that supercharger, it definitely goes even faster
Oh yeah definetly you feel the torque and power and it still get good gas mileage. On top of making some pretty good power is lighter than the RT so it definetly has that advantage too.

its very easy just take off the dash panel unplug the old radio and plug in the new one. for carplay you need a new usb module too but its also not hard to install@@RbmBoogz

@@RacingPassionMovementhey, I watched a video of a guy installing this same kit on a charger. And in that video he never removed the crash bar. Is that only needed to be done for challengers?
They do not show it in the videos but it is required or else the air filter elbow wont fit

Was that coolant cross over you installed something that came with the kit? I replaced my plastic coolant cross over and the plastic oil filter housing with metal ones for reliability purposes. Just wondering if I would need to replace the cross over again if I order the Ripp kit. Been looking at either Ripp or Pro-Charger for a supercharger kit.
Good question. Yes that is a part that came with the kit and it has the RIPP branding on it

No it does not and the coilpacks are not necessary to have. The sparkplugs do need to be changed for ngk laser ones with a smaller gap for it to run smooth. When ordering the kit it shows you the option of adding the sparkplugs and coilpacks
Does it or can it cause any issues in the long run modding it like that? Or does it actually make it run better?
Good question. You are of course asking more of the engine so long term it COULD cause components to fail prematurely but these engines are really reliable if given the proper maintenance. I have not heard of any engine failing unless you try to push more than the kit offers safely. it does make it run better with a good tune and my MPG is also better when I drive it normally

Yes ,there tuner can will provide you with pcm.

Completely stock. Everything needed aside from final tune is provided in the kit
Can I run this with stock injectors and coils
Stock coils yes. Stock injectors no, the kit includes the upgraded injectors

Here in az they dont bother us. And it is a 50 state legal supercharger kit so it passes smog

People over oil those K&N oil filters and they gunk of all downstream sensors, MAF being the primary.
Some company should of came out with a twin turbo system instead of the supercharger for the 3.6 Pentastar. Because Dodge is coming out with a V6 engine called Hurricane with twin turbo setup.
I agree a turbo kit would be so great for this engines

WOW! Great work... I had a RIPP SC installed onto my Challenger last year over fall/winter. I just got it tuned spring. This is the first video i've seen of a comprehensive install.

Just buy a whipple supercharger for the 5.7 more power and torque gains coming moared to rip one

You do the first oil change at 500 miles and then after that you change it at the same interval as your engines oil change
@7:00 for anyone watching don't do this with a METAL TOOL. You can scratch the engine side or part side and cause it to where the gasket wont seal it and it'll leak. i literally cringed here lol

You’re about a decade late on this install I put one in my V6 challenger back in 2012!
Should have changed the oil cooler, it will fail.
Main reason for failing is during oil changed it gets overtorqued or the seals leak once it leaks its an easy swap for the metal one

I did all my own oil changes, and never tightened more than a 1/4 - 1/2 past hand tight, mine failed from a cold weather blast in NY on December 2022, as did 3 friends of mine, it was replaced by Jeep (warranty) with the “supposed” improved version called the “AB” unit,or something like that, as appears in the model number.
It takes half a day for new people😅
