I bought a 2016 dodge charger SXT V6 and I was kinda sad that I didn't have an extra 15k to buy a V8. This video gives me hope. I'm gonna start saving some money and hopefully in a couple of months I would be able to order a kit from you.
It is a certain game changer. We daily 2 of the vehicles in house.
The suspense is killing me! Ordering forged pistons so I can push this kit to its limits!

Jay Are don't trust Tim Arnold, and my buddy's car is in the video. spoken with Ripp a few times now and their explanation to their products superiority over tidalwave is evident in the RnD performed. if I wanted a system that would stress out my powertrain and bug out I would go to tidal, if I was longevity I'll stick to RIPP. What is the exhaust setup sounds good? I have a 2016 blacktop sxt i know i will have to get better brakes, new intake and a tune Diablo more than likely to go along with this super charger.

Much respect for you guys creating a bad ass supercharger system for the pentastar line. There are definitely some hemi owners trying to explain to there wives what just happened when a sxt just blew there doors off in front of the local Jack in the box!
Well, the RT at least, the 6.4 would compete.
This is exactly why the V8 challanger isn't worth it. You could pay $5,000-7,000 for a RT for 333 rwhp. Or buy a v6 and pay the 5,000-7,000 for 425 rwhp at the wheels. The SRT 392 has 437 rwhp. With the right tires, exahust, and the tune with RIPP you can definitely get 437 rwhp from a v6 which is way cheaper than the SRT 392.

Hey guess what you've got glass pistons and a big ego, the 392 is a shit-pile engine unless you go into it and build it up. Pound for pound the V6 is a better engine and can take 17psi stock producing 500 whp and 360trq. But cool of you to stop by and shit talk a fellow Mopar and call him out instead of joining the movement. You HEMI owners and your egos..cute.
Love seeing the 425HP in the lighter 3.6, but am I missing something? TA hood, spoiler, grill emblem, and wheels...but it has the 3.6???

As I see it the big issue with the 3.6 engine is the cast in heads alum. log exhaust manifold. Thus this engine cannot really breath or get help exhaust wise. No to mention I wonder how long the alum. exhaust manifolds hold up to the the hotter heat ?
I came to watch these videos because a couple friends of mine are obsessed with my 392 and they have the V6 so I told them I'll look around for reliable ways they can get more power, and as I'm watching I realized you guys in the V6 models have a lot of respect or at least a sense of competition with us! Wich is cool to know that other people are modifying their cars to able to keep up with us. I hope all of you trying to make those pentastars faster reach your goals and go out there and beat those V8s!
It was never about competing with the V8s, but the V8 guys seemed to get threatened real quick. We do the 5.7 and the 6.4 SRT Jeep.. 600awd-hp all day and 650awd-hp with A little meth, but we all know the 6.4 cant take that power long due to the weak pistons. The V6 can go 450-480whp safely.
just curious, have you had anyone's engines fail from these modifications ? is the V6 designed to handle this kind of power ?@@RIPPMODS

This is my only wish left in my life. I'm not buying another car in my life when I, through some jackpot win or miracle, will finally have a chance to add this to my car. But... those miracles and jackpots will never happen in this part of the world ...

any complications coupling the setup with the GT awd edition... you know for us enduring winter snow and 4 season driving...
The AWD system is the same as the Grand Cherokee and Durango, we already supercharge those - No complications at all. Additionally we are the number one supercharger kit for the Jeep Wrangler from 2007-2017 which uses the same engine and depending on the year, same trans.
I ordered my ripp supercharger about 2 weeks ago...I'm so excited...can't wait to put it on my challenger
and this was one of the main reasons i didnt spring for a scat pack. i knew someone out there was going to eventually offer a super charger allowing me to get scat pack power for the total price of a base rt. i cannot wait to throw one on my '16!

You are correct however 6.4's have a weak piston for boost. Most reputable mopar shops will always recommend going to a forged piston before even thinking of forced induction.

RIPP Superchargers....you don't need to supercharge a scat pack....headers, tune and a hellcat air box will suffice and push it to about 550 crank...more than enough power and the motor is NA

Any plans to put an S/C on the Challenger GT coming out? An AWD Challenger with say 375AWHP would be a pretty wild car to have.
kmac720 Oh Yeah and combined that with a ported intake manifold, Menteral bent down pipes, an X pipe, and a free flowing cat back exhaust and it'll well over 462 HP at the rear wheels and with the AWD it can even beat a stock Hellcat.

Yeah but u got to be at 6500 RPM to get that 428HP. You will never see that on city streets.
Actually when you floor a car... it goes to redline. Doesn't matter what it is 4, 6, 8 or 10. When you're racing it's just that simple. These cars are hunting 11s now, so don't sleep on them.

Only other question I have is what extra upgrades will I need for the car to be able to handle this power increase after the Ripp Supercharger is installed even if tuned? I assume my stock transmission isn't gonna handle the power for long on stock, or maybe not, I would love some feedback thanks guys.
Nothing else needed, every part of the supercharger kit is designed to be bolted up to a completely stock vehicle.

I have to say I am surprised that you got confused between what you are describing as GROSS HP and NET HP and rear wheel HP. They are all different. A 3.6 Challenger should put down 250 Rear wheel HP, which is about 300 NET HP. That would equal about 375 GROSS HP. The equation from Gross to Net is about 25% less and from NET to Rear wheel about 20% less. You said that the challengers actually only had 275 HP which is incorrect. You also said that the 305 HP is measured without any accessories, exhaust, etc...that is incorrect, NET HP is measured as the car is running, with full exhaust, all accessories, alternator, pullies etc.Gross HP prior to 1972 was measured the way Nick's garage does it...with no water pump, no alternator, no full exhaust, just headers or exhaust manifolds.To prove the car has about 305 HP or about 245 at the rear wheels...I typed in a HP calculator and MPH in a quarter mile.. I put a weight of 4000 lbs and 305 flywheel or net hp and it came back with a quarter mile time of 14.5 sec @ 98 MPH. Most times I have seen including my own car is 14.5 sec @ 96 MPH, which is close, however I put in 255 rear wheel HP and I get the same numbers. A difference of (305-255) about 20 %..in this case 17.4%. (robrobinette.com/et.htm). So if the car is now making 425 REAR WHEEL HP the car should do a 12.93 quarter @ 110 MPH., assuming traction is optimum. Ive seen 13.3@105 (ruclips.net/video/QoeNgjitebw/видео.html) and a 12.3@112 MPH (ruclips.net/video/_HpJ97grPo4/видео.html).
Well, we only have this really fancy machine that tells us the Rear Wheel HP of the vehicle in question... here's a capture of the same car making exactly what are "claiming"... ruclips.net/video/o1_9EyO6t7o/видео.html additionally we have had more Pentastar powered vehicles on dyno than anyone else on the planet, we have now affirmed our own numbers and consistency's, we do not need the aid of an on line calculator. Our clients are now going 12.1 @ 112mph.
Thats fine, I was only commenting on some of the things you were saying as they were misleading,..if a stock challenger makes 275 rear wheel HP on your dyno then your Dyno is over rating the HP numbers unless that particular Challenger was modified. AT 4000 lbs and 275 rear wheel HP the car should do a 14.2 @ 100 MPH and I have never seen a 3.6 go that fast stock. ( 100 MPH). Motor trend tested a stock SXT and it did 14.5 seconds with a trap speed of 96.9. That equates to 245 rear wheel HP. If you know the weight of a car and the MPH in the quarter then you can calculate the HP, if you know the weight and the HP you can get how fast the car will do in the quarter. By the way, if that Challenger had 275 NET HP it would barely get in the 14's at 94 MPH

Sports mode does not make more HP it charges transmission mapping and throttle response.
Correct me if I'm wrong but going from 283rwhp to 425rwhp is not a 200hp gain...
If you follow the video series on these cars, they start at 220-230whp before mods. This had mods in place before and was a base number of 283whp. We are at this point generalizing that the mod has proven itself to be the better part of 200 as a bolt on.

Hello, we've now sold over 15000 Supercharger kits for these cars, Jeeps and SUVs, the 3.6 Pentastar with RIPP kits have proven to be very reliable.
Throttlebody, exhaust from the manifolds back, RIPP ignition coils, and High Performance injectors, and a RIPP catch can (because the pentastar is notoriuos for blowby) and you could probably eclipse 500 HP

I got a new 2021 challenger sxt and really wanna supercharge it :| but I spent extra on warranty and don't wanna have to argue over a supercharger if something does happen...
guys, you should make your own aftermarket Ripp Hoods that make any challenger that has this supercharger get recognized as such.

Will I need a new trans or does it just need to be tuned?
No drivetrain modifications are needed and the transmission does not need to be tuned either. Just tune the PCM for the supercharger and that's all.
Could we still and a Turbocharger with the RIPP package? Supercharger for low rpm and turbo for high utilizing a bypass valve?

went to google, and from what I can find adding a supercharger does not increase emission output? would love that confirmed as it's a huge thing here where I live and something they check yearly.

well, the vendors advertised as selling your products, from RIPP Superchargers, in California, are all either not selling your products or non-existent. oh well.
