IN THIS VIDEO I TALK ABOUT THE DIFFERENCE AFTER INSTALLING RIPP COIL PACKS ON MY 2015 CHALLENGER. I TEST MILEAGE AND ONE 0-60 WITH A/C ON AND WHEEL SPIN.
You would have to contact Ripp ... you can look them up on the internet for theyre number ... also I wouldn't get them off ebay I would get them directly from Ripp personally because the ones on ebay could be a fake.
I noticed too that my exhaust note got a little bit deeper after installing the performance coil packs. But like you said, it ain't a night & day difference. I definitely would recommend it for any v6 owner lookin to squeeze out some more horsepower.
@@MoparDad84 I dont think it was mentioned in RIPP's videos that the coil packs would slightly deepen the tone. It was definitely a nice surprise to hear a little change in the exhaust note lol
Though they aren't required, I think a tune is really the only way to get the full benefit of the coil packs, as adjustments to the ignition timing would be where the gains would be found.
Those coilpacks give you the same effect a placebo sugar pill would. The hp will not increase with coil packs. Maybe the ignition in cold start is better and instant but i doubt increases hp.
Thinking about doing these coils on my 2020 V6 charger GT, did you change to different a spark plug?. My car has only 15000 miles with stock mopar plugs, don't want to change them if it's not necessary. Thanks
I would change the plugs to because I didn't notice much of a difference with just the coil packs. I think they recommend NGK laser Irridium I plan to change mine in the spring but didn't originally because only 40k miles but again I think the NGK plugs will perform better.
@@MoparDad84 I sourced my own...I got hose, clamps, cover, and can for under $100...it's very similar to the RIPP kit, but half the cheddar...even less if you can find a place to gift you the hose!
“I did unhook the negative battery cable before I did the install”
Finally, someone with common sense
my scat pack is all stock, runs and sounds sweet.
Thats a sweet car no doubt about it.
@@MoparDad84 hi bro please help me order those packs coils .on ebay can i buy them 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Zero HP increase, but other benefits, mostly for boosted applications
