As someone with a lot of food allergies, I absolutely hate when a nutrition label says “flavors” or “natural flavors.” Flavors of what?? Am I going to get a rash or feel sick?? It sucks that companies don’t have to put everything that’s in a product on its label 😔 personally, I don’t care if something is “natural” or not… I just want to know what it is so I don’t accidentally poison myself!

When it comes down to the ingredients in Cheez It’s and Simple Mills, I would definitely agree that Simple Mills is the “healthier” option. It’s not just the nutritional labels that should be compared.
    Cheez Its
Enriched flour (wheat flour, niacin, reduced iron, vitamin B1 [thiamin mononitrate], vitamin B2 [riboflavin], folic acid), vegetable oil (high oleic soybean, soybean, palm, and/or canola oil with TBHQ for freshness), cheese made with skim milk (skim milk, whey protein, salt, cheese cultures, enzymes, annatto extract color).Contains 2% or less of salt, paprika, yeast, paprika extract color, soy lecithin.
    V.S.
SIMPLE INGREDIENTS: Nut and Seed Flour Blend (Almonds, Sunflower Seeds, Flax),Tapioca, Cassava, Organic Cheddar Cheese (Cultured Milk, Salt, Enzymes), Organic Sunflower Oil, Sea Salt, Organic Onion, Organic Garlic, Rosemary Extract (For Freshness), Organic Paprika, Annatto

    TW: funky eating habits
I'm really glad I found your channel because you offer a balanced perspective on food that doesn't aggravate my orthorexic/OCD tendencies.
The word "healthier" put a lot of foods in a Pandora's Box for me and im kind of rediscovering what I actually like eating versus what I can allow myself to eat.
Anyways, thank you for your meme filled videos. I appreciate you.

A trigger for "funky eating habits"? This the dumbest trigger warning I've ever seen.

@@michellelee7846 OK we have trigger warnings for dumb shit and now accusations of privilege. We really are looking to fill out the bingo card. I've struggled with food a lot but come the fuck on, no one needs a trigger warning for someone talking about weird eating habits.

    A Delicious Oatmeal Recipe
In a microwave safe cereal bowl combine the following--
1/2 cup extra thick rolled oats (I use Bobs Red Mill extra thick organic oats)
    1 tsp. olive oil
2 TBSP. Craisins (or other dried fruit)
    2 TBSP toasted walnuts
    2 TBSP shredded coconut
    2 packets of Truvia
    1/8 tsp. cinnamon
    Water to cover ingredients
Microwave 1 minute, stir well. Microwave another minute. Add 2 TBSP almond milk, stir into mixture. ENJOY! So very satisfying, nutritious, and filling! I sometimes eat this breakfast for dinner. SO delicious! You may sub monk fruit sweetener for the stevia (Truvia). The oats are beautifully cooked without being slimy.

I really like this episodes because your knowledge and skills really shine through. You comment on what Kate’s eats but you say what would you add in and why, very informative and inspirational. Gives me new ideas on my meals! Thank you 😊🙏🏻

The best ice cream I’ve ever had was probably this Rasberry dark chocolate one- it’s actual dark chocolate ice cream combined with Rasberry ice cream and then you get toppings on it and BOY WAS THAT GOOD

Ideally I would have a bit of all three: salsa, guacamole and sour cream 😍😍
