This was actually a better match than I expected... Berlanga gave and took well. The hook-down was beautiful, and no doubt Canelo won every round by a healthy margin, but he didn't absolutely dominate. What's more, it seems that Berlanga actually even seemed to get more comfortable and hit a better stride, later on. He's just starting his prime, and I wouldn't mind a rematch after Berlanga makes some training adjustments.

I think it was more he was trying to show his trainers he was still in it. Cause in the last 3 rounds his trainers asked him if he is okay. Cause he wasnt responding and then he closed his eyes for a moment and then shook his head. So they were thinking of stopping it at one point.

They all can say that they're going to hurt or knock out Canelo, but once they're in the ring with him is different, Benavidez is no different, yes he is better than Berlanga, but he hasn't being hit by someone like Canelo.
