It can be so easy to ‘go to the gym’ without actually working towards becoming jacked or achieving whatever goal you may have. I was a skinny kid from birth to maybe 18 when I got a gym membership, went for a year and was disappointed after expecting results and seeing none. One day I actually started to look at how much I was eating and researched specific weight-training exercises that target muscle growth (AND their correct form). Slowly I went from eating around 1750 calories a day to 2500+ (lots of whey protein) and comprised a gym routine that was broken into muscle groups- I saw muscle growth I didn’t know was possible on me. I’m 23 now and have slowed down on the workouts a tad now that I’m busier but I am in great shape still and the hard work I did initially allows you to slow down a bit without losing all gains. Great video, life always needs motivation and goals to strive for💪
One thing I learned at 30 years old after years of looking big without my shirt but looking skinny with my shirt on is simple, 3 things : 1. WORKOUT YOUR NECK (this is literally a look huge fast hack) 2. Workout your traps A LOT 3. Workout your shoulders A LOT I hope this helps kings 👑
I see you got an editor finally. Congrats Max, who is it btw? I have a weird feeling its Daniella, but truely idk. Anyway, for the rest of you all, get to MM, it will be worth it.
Yes, tracking your workouts is important. Every workout look back on what you did last time so that you make sure to do more or at least try to do more for every set.
As long as you're eating enough protein from real foods then you don't need protein powder. Protein powder is just an easier way to digest a lot of protein quickly.
Count your macros. I use Cronometer, you’ll see if you need the extra protein or not. Some days I fall short of my protein goal, so I take a shake. Some days I’m way past it and don’t need any extra protein.
I might make a video on my diet, but whole foods is ideally what 100% of your diet should be. Then the question becomes...what whole foods? Some people say "go vegan". Others say "go carnivore" "The Mediterranean diet is the best!" Honestly, I don't know which one is best, but this is how I do it: - Lots of meat - Lots of potatoes (for dinner) - Lots of eggs (for breakfast) - Some vegetables - Lots of fruit (because I like fruit) Other: Collagen protein powder for protein shakes Hope this helps
@@MaxwellRhoe thank you! great videos, been here since you started your channel and its been really cool seeing you grow in front of my eyes. very inspiring as i have been wanting to create content for years
@@MaxwellRhoethe eggs and potatoes should be reversed. It’s good to have eggs before bed for the cholesterol to become testosterone while you sleep, and potatoes earlier in the day so you have carbs when you lift for a good pump and energy.
@@thyden2k Carbs earlier definitely for lifting/athletics. If you're trying to focus and get work done in the morning though it's better to have low/no carbs at breakfast and mostly protein.

the free course as always is amazing!
'If you don't get this rep, your whole family is gonna die' is the most real as hell thing I have heard form a self-improvement video.
Most of my friends would say “If you don’t get another rep ur gay”
@@Randomthings394 same tbh 😂
is it helpful to record my weights and reps in a notebook/notes app? or do i go by my strength levels?

The abs can be trained the last day with the legs in the PPL split right?
I think Max meant to respond to another question lol.
I think it makes sense to train abs with legs.
Yeah they can. I train them on my rest day.
Uhh is this a good split? Arms and chest, legs, then back and abs
Arms and chest is too much. Do chest and back and just hit abs on off day. Look up arnold split
@@MaxwellRhoe Ohhhh ok, thank you!
Nah I would do full body every other day
