Yeah, we really wonder why the night king ever gave a flying frick about Bran since he did shit to stop him. Never saw that artillery as frontline would not work, or that frontal charges to an enemy immune to fear never work, or that there were people burried IN the crypts of Winterfell... like, i mean, DEAD people....He could have left ambush parties around the castle to stop them from resupplying, then march his entire army south, eradicate all Westeros, and keep sending a few hundred thousand dead up north to keep them busy while he made sure no food would EVER reach Winterfell again...

1 year ago I would have said watch it it's fantastic, now it's like "don't fucking bother." Visually stunning and 1-4 are genuinely great seasons of Television, but I'm going read the books.

Imagine if: the WWs somehow pushed Danny and the gang down South, allowing most of the north of Westeros to be taken. Jamey then betrays Cersei (because 'they all need to stand together' and she isnt having any of that and is batshit insane. Maybe also killing all her aids but being unable to kill her, because he still loves her) and forcing her up North to die at the hands of the WWs. Have her ambition, madness, and sheer hatred for humanity (since she has nothing left) warp her even further. And by the time the Night King or a general finds her, they dont register her as a human or just recognizing her malice/hatred of everything, and decide baptise her (Kind of like what they did with the kids but ++ version). Making her 'the Ice Queen' (but never giving her that name or saying it aloud, just having her be a WW with a sense of self or something.
Though all that might ruin the political drama.IDK.
