Dude I just did mine 08 CTS after removing the cover and crawling under there it looks a bit confusing takes a while to figure out the mechanics of what's going on 😲 I had to move the limit switch towards the floorboard to reverse the direction of the drive 🙄 but with your info provided really helped! Thx ✌
My wife's 2014 CTS Premium coupe has steering wheel issues. The car drives straight but the steering wheel itself keeps coming out of alignment. We can go back to the dealership and have them fix the steering wheel and make it straight, but within 100 miles the steering wheel will come off center again. Now the telescoping part of the steering wheel is fine, but if you give it a good nudge, the wheel will go up & down less than a quarter of an inch. Up and down as in the top of the steering wheel moving towards the windshield and the lower part of the steering wheel moving towards your lap. Do you tighten it the same way?
Sorry no. It’s a T 30 torx head with the markings ATC and 8.8 on the head. It’s very short 1/4 inch or so. Makes me wonder if the 8.8 stands for 8.8 mm. Which means it’s likely a metric bolt.
Hey Brother thanks for the video all 4 screws were loose and ready to fall out great video! 👍

The plastic limit stop is broken is it a issue or no
Absolutely an issue, it won't sense when to stop in either direction
@@wildwoodtop I cant find my plastic stop thingy. Mine will go backwards but not forward. Any ideas?
Did you ever find a solution to this? Mine is broken too and I can't find squat on the internet about resolving this....
thanks. Both bolts are out. I only found one. :( Ordered one from dealer for $5.50 .
Do you happen to have a part number for these T30 bolts?
