I didn't know bill burr was a mechanic
My Toyota Corolla has the power steering lock up occasionally, but it's not stuttering or consistently locked up. I replaced the hoses and flushed the fluid; no leaks or kinks. Since the issue doesn't happen often, it's hard to diagnose.
Good morning Juan. Thanks for all the information. I'm just bored a Honda Odyssey with power steering and door problem. Thanks again have a great day.
An excellent video. Thanks a lot bro.
Do you have videos teaching you how to purge the older fluid from the whole system ?
Great tips
Love the video, reason i smashed the like button.
Thanks👍
cool am gonna try that good job
Luv yur opening. Not all parts are created equally. Amen to that but where in the USA ca you find OEM made here ? 🤔😥
Is there a video you could make by chance of a Front Right Tone? Usually it’s something to do with your ABS
I have an Honda civic 2010 that has same issue with this video, can you help do a video on that
Hey I have a 2005 Yukon SLT 5.3L automatic with 218,000 miles. All stock equipped.
Doesn't make any noise of any kind, that's abnormal. Well kept and daily driver.
I drove it out on the highway for 300 miles and when I exited Interstate it was in manual steering mode...stiff to turn like it had no pump at all. And the brakes were not boosted either. It's not the belt or fluids of steering or brakes...all good. No leaks. No codes. No smells. No noises of pump failure. It only does it at low rpms when coming to stop, under 700 rpm. It works fine when above that. And the brakes are unboosted when it does it also, but work.
This is the pump I assume? Remove and replace eh?
Suggestions of what pump brands you had success with? I'm eyeballing the O'Reily $72 special.
Thanks!
I have a 2000 dodge ram 1500 , I hit a bump and randomly lost power steering . Noticed no bubbles, or movement inside the reservoir or whining . I put a new pump in from autozone and it’s the same result … steering is still really stiff, no fluid movement inside the reservoir and no whining. The new pump I just installed from AutoZone is a reman, do you think I just got another faulty pump? Or is this a steering box issue?
Electronic steering faults?
After I brought my truck to the shop for alignment .I have the same problem my steering wheel is hard to turn.
Could bad camber cause this issue too?
I recently did my water pump on my 2008 nissan altima 3.5 and i took it for a drive and the steering was good but after it locked up and its really hard to steering. anyone know what it could be?
Have a land cruiser 1988. Have not got refill tank. Steering VERY hard to turn. .... why?
Awesome
What about electric power steering on ford mercury milan
I just changed my steering box and it is very much stiff, is it a normal thing ? like will it be losen after some time?
+@theuntolddiaries1499 We wouldn't be able to diagnose an issue like that here, you may want to have a local mechanic take a look at it. Thanks for checking us out! 1aau.to/m/Shop-1AAuto-c
I have a 2009 subaru legacy. Just replaced pump with OEM pump. If i jack up the front end and the wheels are straight i can turn it easy a little in each direction but the closer i get lock to lock it gets stiff. And when its on the ground very stiff all the time. Proper fluid level and fluid. No wines or noises. What the heck.
I am stuck at my school, wheel locked, blazing hot outside with difficult steering. Don’t know why. What do I do?
What about these issues talked about being done/replaced, yet still having issues most of the time. No noise. No leaks detected.
Turning right is stiff, like a power steering issue. Pushing on the gas helps very little. Steering box? Ever so often I get lucky and it turns so nicely 😌
4:50 Wiiiiiiiiiii 😂😂
What if it’s hard to turn but makes no noise?
