Disconnect the battery negative terminal and wait 30 seconds. This will reset the code. Reconnect the negative battery lead and it will clear the limp mode condition.

I have replace mine and now the idle has gone from 1-2k rpm bouncing to 200rpm. I don't know how its even possible to idle that low XD

If you want to live much longer you might want to invest in some jack stands. NEVER trust a jack alone!

My wife's 2014 CTS Premium coupe has steering wheel issues. The car drives straight but the steering wheel itself keeps coming out of alignment. We can go back to the dealership and have them fix the steering wheel and make it straight, but within 100 miles the steering wheel will come off center again. Now the telescoping part of the steering wheel is fine, but if you give it a good nudge, the wheel will go up & down less than a quarter of an inch. Up and down as in the top of the steering wheel moving towards the windshield and the lower part of the steering wheel moving towards your lap. Do you tighten it the same way?

“Prime the oil system”? Unless this engine has an electric oil pump turning the key to on, without actually starting the engine, will do absolutely nothing as far as priming the oil system.

You have any issues with it being so close to the pulley since?

In the meantime, I just tilted the hidden coin door forward slightly as I push the door closed, when it springs back forward, the bottom of the hidden coin door blocks the ashtray from moving forward. Doesn't look too odd if you don't stare at it, lol. But looking for a real fix.

Dude I just did mine 08 CTS after removing the cover and crawling under there it looks a bit confusing takes a while to figure out the mechanics of what's going on 😲 I had to move the limit switch towards the floorboard to reverse the direction of the drive 🙄 but with your info provided really helped!
