Crossfire/SRT-6/SLK: Ashtray Repair

Today I will show you how to fix the notorious ashtray/coin holder issue that plagues all Chrysler crossfire models, and Mercedes SLK. A comman issue with the unit is that it will not stay shut and is constantly in the open positions, well today we will fix that for good! Thanks for your video, I'll give it a shot soon. In the meantime, I just tilted the hidden coin door forward slightly as I push the door closed, when it springs back forward, the bottom of the hidden coin door blocks the ashtray from moving forward. Doesn't look too odd if you don't stare at it, lol. But looking for a real fix.
