Because for some reason, Glock designed their magazine where you can’t disassemble it without causing damage. Even if you do it carefully, it will cause damage to the baseplate and the little teeth on the magazine body over time.

Until I bought my first glock I was all for my Xd-40 which I love because I can covert the Xd into a 9mm from a .40 to a carbine with the conversion kit and it’s a damn fine pistol I still like more then glock but after buying my first glock winch is the 43 I’m seeing why glock is so liked.
That being said the only issue I have with the Glock is price and plastic clips.
I think if they had the metal clips like the Xd it would be even better but in any case there both damn fine pistols though I will always pick the Xd if I had to pick one it will alwasy be the Xd.
I think the xd can also convert into a .357 sig which is a useless caliber on my opinion.
