This is quickly becoming my favorite YT channel. Kelsey you have such a gentle spirit and soothing voice, not to mention the incredible recipes and advice. Thank you for all you do!
Thank you for this. I know it is so easy to make up dressings but quite often I can't find it in me to make them because most of the time I end up making more than what I need for 1 serving. You saying to do a batch that can be kept certainly gave me that little kick on that backend of me I needed.
Kelsey, I love all of the close-up shots ..... so artistic !! Perfect timing for the homemade salad dressings. What brand of mayo do you use? or is it homemade also? After watching a LOT of your videos, I bought a thrifted bread maker and have been making my all of my bread since January... thank you so much for taking the time out of your busy busy day and making these wonderful videos to share with us.
Can’t wait to try these. I infused three vinegars the last few weeks, one with blueberries, and it has made some fantastic vinaigrette. Have a blessed weekend!
Awesome sauce! Steak, baked potatoes and salad for dinner tonight. I had mayonnaise I made earlier this week that needed to be used up so I make thousand island dressing. I used seafood cocktail sauce instead of ketchup because it’s what I had and it adds a little zip to your dressing. It is so yummy.
This is wonderful! All the dressings I’ll need for the Summer in one place and a video to boot! Yay! Thanks for sharing these. I can’t wait to try them. Blessings to you. 🌺
It’s salad season here too! Thank you for the dressing inspiration! This time of year, I love dehydrating or freeze drying garden herbs which I then make into seasoning mixes and homemade ranch dressing mix and things like that. This makes it so my kids can whip up a batch of dressing and most of the work is already done. Chive salt has been popular here for on top of potato pancakes and eggs and a myriad of other things. I love your channel and appreciate your calm spirit. 💗
Oh those sound fabulous! Chive salt is something I’ll definitely try, thank you! I appreciate you watching and taking the time to comment! Have a lovely weekend 🤍
You’re a lifesaver! I’m all out of store bought ranch and it isn’t worth the trip for just that one item. I have all the ingredients I need. That fruit vinaigrette is calling my name. I’ll substitute for raspberries. I’m so excited! Thank you another wonderful video. May I ask what brand of mayonnaise you use? Or do you make it from scratch?
It’s always a great start of my day when I see a new video from you.. these recipes look so good. I quite often have to make my own dressing gs since the closest grocery store is over an hour away. I will definitely be making some of these. Thanks so much 🇨🇦🌷
Thank you! Love your videos I made my own Thousands Island dressing a few months ago. I loved it. One of those times when I had cooked corned beef and wanted to make Reubens with the left overs. It seems like when I buy Thousands Island dressing for this reason, I use it for Reubens but then I never use it after and it goes to waste. When I made it homemade it was so good that I used it on other things. As you said can do it to your taste and amount you want
You are a natural at making videos and teaching your skills. I wish for your channel to grow and grow, you have so much knowledge to share! Love your style! Blessings!
OMG! I was looking for ways to improve health by what I eat and was looking for home made recipes-thank you for posting the recipes I actually put all 8 on a sheet an going into my cookbook I've created of wonderful recipes. Thank you!!!
I've never made homemade dressings b4 but been wanting to try lately. These will be great ones. Thank you for ur videos. Found you about a month ago and watched all of them.
One thing I really appreciate is how she precisely measured most of her ingredients using the SWAG method! For anybody who doesn't know what the SWAG method is, it's, a "Scientific Wild Assed Guess", a pinch of this, a squeeze of that, a splash or 2 of something else! AND, it is perfect! (edit) I just noticed she didn't have a recipe for blue cheese dressing, which is my favorite salad dressing. I shut my brain off when she got to the ranch dressing recipe because my wife does not like blue cheese, anything! I want the ranch recipe because, while it's also a very good salad dressing, she will have a good ranch dressing for a dipping sauce when I make fried chicken tenders, which is what we both prefer for a dippin' sauce, it's pretty good on the fries also. I absolutely like ranch dressing, but, given my choice, for my salad dressing, I will always go for the blue cheese first.
Thank you so much for sharing homemade dressings I am going to make all of them. This will also give the reason not buy them at store I have already stopped buying bread, buns, English muffins, and bagels because of your channel thank you so much for all that do.
You got me at thousand island! Hard to find throw back dressings and that one was a favorite from my childhood. I hate all the 'stuff' in the bottled dressings. Thank you so much. Just subscribed.
Never done my own salad dressings but definitely going to give some a try, never seen a fruity one, lovely colour, thank you for sharing, 1st video I've seen of yours so will have a look at your others (Jackie, uk)
I have been making a my salad dressings and marinades for awhile but these are some fun new ones I will have to try soon. I am currently out of apple cider vinegar. I made pineapple vinegar from scraps which has been amazing to use. I have a bunch of red wine vinegar to use up which has been sitting because I guess I never reach for. I had a orange champagne vinegar which was a favorite but it was discontinued. I think the vinegars make so many versions of these dressings. My biggest problem is we like creamier salad dressing but don’t keep mayo on hand so I guess I am going to have to get some. Thanks for sharing!
Mayo is fairly easy to make yourself if you have eggs and oil on hand. Personally I prefer to use a more neutral oil when making mayo but you can totally use olive oil if you want.
to make that fruit (blueberry) dressing, you could just throw the blueberries in a vitamix, to liquify them, then pop it back into the massioairy jar, and add the rest of the ingredients. ;)
Do you have a website so we can print the recipes? I see them linked below but not sure if there is a way to print them. These look good! Thank you for sharing. I found your channel recently and look forward to your videos.
We are on a staycation this week. Trying to wrap up some yard and garden projects. That being said, my husband watched the video with me and his comment at the end was, “blue cheese matters” 🤣 can you tell what his favorite dressing is? Anyway, great video and thank you for always including the recipes. Have a wonderful weekend!
Hahaha! I was trying to go with the most popular but I’d have to agree that blue cheese matters! It’s one of my favorites 😁 Have a lovely staycation, how fun!
@@seedandsparrowhomestead I had a similar thought, but then I was thinking along the lines of people freezing meat in marinades and how that works out. Maybe this could work the same way? I might just have to try it. Thanks again! Mother of two here in Minnesota, I enjoy the inspiration you leave here. Especially with littles!

It has nothing to do with her "throat". It is the quality of her camera/microphone you are hearing. I'm pretty blunt her voice sounds fine. Audio sounds fine. Not the best but nothing that would make me change watching the video. Let her show us how to make some healthy salad dressing.

These all look amazing I can't wait to try them! P.S. the music was fine and I could barely hear it. Thank you 😊
How long do your salad dressing have to stay refrigerated?

Thank you so much for these receipts. I have made a few homemade salad dressings before but now I have many to choose from especially the poppy seed.
Really great video! I just watched your meals in a jar video! Glad I found your channel,
You can also check cleaned peanut butter or mayonnaise lids, many of these will also fit as well. Also Parmesan Cheese Shakers fit wonderfully.
Great tip, thanks for sharing! 🤍
Thank you so much, I definitely shared this with several people. You made it look so easy.
Will be looking for my 1/2 pint mason jars this week. They all look great and easy to make. Thank you.

Can you can any of these for long term storage?
These would not be safe to can ☺️
I use mason jars for everything.
Thank you 🥗💕🥙🌼🥬🌷🥦
Thanks so much!
Thanks for watching! ❤️
Question: can you make and freeze in freezer bags for down the road this summer? I can't wait to make these!
Hmm I’m not so sure these would freeze well, although I’ve never tried! Something tells me it wouldn’t work but perhaps others have tried ☺️

Love these recipes! The fruit vinaigrette looks especially delicious. Now off to harvest some lettuce. 🥗
What would you use instead of mayo?
You are terrific
Nice video ❤
Thank you! 🤍
Turns out, a mason jar opening is the same size as a blender. Just screw on the base to the jar, and blend to mix.
3:56 Those look like some big teaspoons of honey.
Hey, no essence of tractor? or maybe it was naptime. Your photography is really great!
LOL! Sometimes nap time is the only time mama can get filming done! Thank you ☺️
Can we store for longer????

If we're not new here, is your name not Kelsey?
Everything has oil or mayo, even for salads. No, not for me
Ok. Goodbye. I’d have let this go but it was obviously a value judgement.
Is her throat OK? Her voice sounds like it keeps cracking out all the time hard to listen to

Get to the point
Ketchup? Maple syrup? Mayonnaise these are not healthy salad dressings. I bet they are tasty though.
Actually much healthier than store bought! Definitely tasty ☺️
