  • In this video I will show you how to perform training load calculations with an exponentially weighted moving average (EWMA). This will allow you to calculate the Acute Chronic Workload Ratio and look at trends with your team for the data you are collecting. The ACWR has been shown to be sensitive to workload fluctuations which may lend insight into injury trends across a variety of sports.

Hey mate, thanks for your work, and sharing it to us!
I wanna ask you for the references that you used to discriminate the range of days for calculating acute and chronic load.
    Thanks you!

Hey mate thanks for this great resource! I have a question: at @7:57 you say to take E3 in the formula, however since we are in Row 4, is t x(t) the TL for that day, which would be E4? Thanks!

@DSMStrength if I have a data set w/ multiple athletes how would I build out a name selector to filter out on the graph similar to your excel ACWR dashboard?

hi there, I need some help calculating Exponential Chronic load. Can anybody help me out?
in this formula: Exponential acute load = Load today x ƛa+ ((1- ƛa) x Exponential load from yesterday) - does anybody know what Exponential load from yesterday means? and how to calculate it? thanks
