the challenge is to do all those calc in power bi, because let's say I was doing it for 1000 stocks, then I am sure you wouldn't recommend these calcs in excel right?
Hello, how do you handle the problem if a new player joins the squad? Do you keep 3-4 "test players" within the database which you can fill with a potential new player without any problems in the database structure?
If the problem you are facing is that you don't have previous day data to calculate the EWMA, maybe you can manually calculate the first value (LOADtoday x alfa) for the first day and then for the next dates you can use the formula as normal
Thanks! Can't know for sure where it went wrong, but I recommend watching the entire video carefully as I mention important details during the process. Also check that the DATE column is in date format.
Hi! I saw one issue here. Your ACWR calculations show the values of around 3.1 or 3.2. Then how does your graph show ACWR values of the range 0.8-1.3? i also tried doing the same calculations and found the same issue. Please let me know about it. I will be highly obliged!
Hey! The 3.1-3.2 values are only from the first few dates, later on the values start to level at around 1.0, that is what is shown in the graph. I honestly don't know why for you and a couple others the formula didn't work, since I am able to show in the video that it does work! Please ensure you are following the steps carefully.
@@powerbiforsports9518 Hi, actually i am an athlete and i had a 7 week report of my last years training which was being monitored by my strength coach. I used all the load datas of mine and put your formula but couldnt get the same result. is there anyway you can help?

Why is the Acute & Chronic EWMA value zero?
I entered the formula well.
