My great aunt is VERY religious, she's always posting things related to religion, or how being gay is a sin... My best friend is bi... I have 2 friends at my current school that are bi... And 1 or 2 at my last school... And one of my favorite singers is gay...
Also, even though it is in the bible that god says that being gay is a sin, "he created everyone, we are all his children, he loves everyone,". This means he doesn't hate gays, in fact that means he loves them, which means it isn't a sin. Don't believe me? Then if it was a sin, why would he make people like that?
And no its not a choice. People are automatically given a sexuality from the time they're born. Its who they are. Its how god made them. And remember, "God loves you" and "Jesus loves you".
People choose their sexuality. God gave us a free will, which means we can do anything we want, and He won't stop us - not including His judgment upon our death. While it's a sin to be homosexual, He still will love everyone no matter what, but just because God loves someone who sins, that doesn't make it no longer a sin. If you consider that every sin has been broken at least once, then you're saying that sin can't exist, which is not true. You don't have to agree with someone living in sin, but you should never hate someone no matter what, for the Bible states, "Love thy neighbor as thyself."

No, fr'ick that, he heals the guy's lover and even is like, "Wow, dude, your male lover is so faithful and that makes me so happy.
Also, the centurion's male lover is not mentioned as his male lover in the modern English text of the Bible, it's in the Greek (and the Greek version is RIGHT from the Dead Sea Scrolls, so it's the closest translation we got) version of the Bible and there the centurion explains that he has a sick male lover.

At that time I was really young and those thoughts of an indifferent god(s) led to my acceptance of no god. I thought "How could a child, such as myself, have such a messed up life under the purview of a 'benevolent' god?".

I think they shouldn't go away. Not that i'm a homophobe or anything but I think its important to understand what were arguing against. Its important to challenge each other's opinions no matter how backwards they may be. Basically, its important to understand what we disagree with so that we can advance our own opinion more. Getting rid of all of these people would most likely confuse people overtime.

The one thing I don't agree on, is all the hate on any religious people. I don't care if you're gay, but, why attack the church? They follow the bible, of course they're not going to accept anyone who is gay oh so easily.
