As someone who has grown up continually pursuing art and always working to improve upon the knowledge or skills I have, I can personally say that in any art form observation of a subject or topic is an incredible tip and one that shouldn't be overlooked. Its a key component to improving and understanding so many different things in art. So without a doubt I would have to say that would be the most important tip from these 10. I am enjoying your channel so much, this is my first comment on one of your videos so I hope my perspective/feedback was helpful and I have to say I'm always looking forward to the next video to come across my feed. Keep working hard and giving your best!
Great tips! You're one of the few artists that made me inspired to try sculpting in Blender and I'm so thankful for that. You made me realize sculpting in Blender was very possible
Honestly? These are just nice tips. I'm there, you can say that I'm learning to sculpt in Blender (I passed it for a long time and I regret it) I will gladly use them, thanks Yan
I think he did a video on it, I believe it's a newer model of a Kamvas tablet, I have a Kamvas 13 and haven't seen any cons myself (although I probably don't use my tablet as much as he uses his), so I'd assume a more updated model could only be better
Hey, muscles look different when in they're in different positions, so how would you animate a sculptet character? Would you also sculpt it differently when you're gonna animate it?
Super late but i wanted to ask if i get your patreon, will i get older sculpts? Your gumroad doesnt have all of your sculpts and there are specific ones i wanna study how it was made
yan can you help me please, i made an eye ball in cycles and it was pretty big so i scaled it down too fit inside the eye socket of my model, but when i scaled it down it makes th eye color of my eye disappear and turn black, when i rescale back too how big it was the color comebacks.
Thank you for the video, Yan ✨ May I ask you what model of computer do you use for your works ? When it comes for more details in process my computer starts glitching unfortunately , so high-poly works become super complicated to create 🥲
Hey Yan, just a quick question to a fellow display screen graphic tablet user :) What tablet are you using right now? I apologise if you have that info somewhere, I might have missed it! I remember you were using XP-Pen and wanted to ask you personally, did you not scratch the screen within few months? I just recently learnt the hard way that XP-Pen does not have etched glass and mine (12 Artist Pro) is very badly scratched right now, ive had it for 3 years though. I wonder if you used some screen protector you can recommend or did you not have that issue at all? :o Thank you for your time in advance! 😊😊
@@yansculpts I see, it's a bit difficult if I only use the mouse, small details are difficult to do,, Thanks for the advice I will start collecting money 💪💪
I have serious issues falling back to what my “memory” says something like a hand should look like, compared to what a hand ACTUALLY looks like from reference. It’s easy to get lost in the sculpting and forget that you have a reference right there and should be looking at it and comparing.
very handy indeed✋

More than, I don't understand why some think you can't? Thanks and glad i was able to inspire!
Great Tutorial! Really helped we out to get better at hand sculpting 😌. Just one question how did you get that human look texture?
Would you mind explaining how you do the Shading on your Sculpts? They have some subsurface scattering etc.
Fantastic stuff! Not enough videos for 2D or 3D properly convey the difference between proportion anatomy and why either are important.
Honestly?

Glad you liked them, welcome back to sculpting!
Ohhh man i've just discovered your channel and u've already saved me 🙌
Glad to hear it!
I’m a fan of Yan’s handy hands.
Always explained so well! 🤌
Love your content Yan! Keep this type of thing coming!
Thanks, will do
First video for me to watch in this channel.. subbed quicklyy
Nice!
For a long time, I have been afraid to add detail to my hands. Now that I've seen you do it, I'll try to get more comfortable with it.
Gotta hand it to you....these are definitely gonna come in handy !!
Thanks, glad you had your handful tips for the day
Thank you !
Very helpful tips, thanks!
Thanks for the tips
No problem!
Do you have a vid on setting up the UI for sculpting, with a tablet?
Awesome tutorial. What’s the skin shader you were using near the end?
normal principled with .3 sss, the sculpt looks realistic which is why it looks like that
The hands look so realistic😮
Thanks for the hand
scuplting and after posing? or scupt in pose? which one i should do for my sculpts
Each is it's own thing.
Amazing sculpture 😍😁😁😁😁😊
Thanks
please tell me what drawing pad that is and the pros and cons you have discovered in using it... thank you for this video also...

One day probably!
@yansculpts ok thanks 🫡
Just in Time, Currently practicing a Hand. I Think only head and torso its not enough. Its good to have hands xD

Sorry hard to say from your comment, maybe apply scale with ctrl a, usually causes issues when you scale in object mode
What a handsome hand
Hand this man a cookie 🍪
Can you share shader details 😅 shader look so real ✨👌👌
Its simply cause the sculpt is, its a default principled shader with .3 sss
Wow thankyou 🤘

What is the website called
How do you remesh without the fingers joining up
Low value for remesh should do, so join them later in the process.
Amazing
Thanks :)

I'll keep this tutorial in hand's proximity
I want to be able to sculpt, but I only have a mouse, is that possible??
You are better off getting a cheap tablet tbh

Can u please suggest me the sculpting degree?
Nice
I just need an updated computer
how cant i find a video from how to make a fist with NO rigging
You would be able to find a video on every situation and sculpt, you learn how to generally sculpt then sculpt whatever u want
Why is your outro super distorted? Making a bass boosted jumpscare at the end in an informative tutorial kinda video is a choice haha
😂🤷♂️

Was anyone else earaped by the outro? lol
