CUTE KITTY I WANNA PET HIM/SHE also hi and this is kinda helpful but still takecare
Which graphic tablet you use?
PleaseHow are you drawing on your screen?
I remember like a year ago or more I commented under one of you’re speed sculpt videos if you could do a slower video we’re you break down you’re process and you actually did listen , thank you you’re a great artist for being nice enough to teach us you’re skills.
broo just wanted to ask a question my blender crashes everytime while doing sculpting and my pc is also good but while sculpting the software gets fuked up
@@Aryan-cc4lw it’s most likely a bug, one way of proving this is downloading previous versions of blender and retrying the same thing and see if it’s stable. If it works in previous versions then yea it’s a bugg, how good is the pc? Like intel i9 13thgen and a 3090 with lots of ram?
This was an excellent and perfect tutorial with very good and detail explanation. I will do more like this and many people will follow.
thanks a lot for this. helped me ton to just get a grip of how to start any part of the body while sculpting. love the little details and tips.
i got your course on how to sculpt human heads and now just by watching this you helped me out a lot!
I really enjoy your videos, your explanations helps a lot. Continue your great work, I'm a big fan 😍
Thanks, will do!
This video is so clear, and simple to follow through!! Learning a lot from it!!
What a lovely cat 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Starts with a sphere
3:30 remesh at 0.1
Symmetrize from sculpt mode instead of a mirror modifier (how come I didn't think of that lmao)
28:05 remesh @ 0.025
36:26 remeshing - joining the arms with the torso
Undisputed king of Blender Sculpting! First rate stuff, man!
Thanks you! This really helped me a lot in blender.
THANKS Sir! you are an amazing teacher❤
Loved all the little tips along the way. Great video!
Thanks!
I love how you don't use Dyntopo. I will apply your tips and I know that surely my sculptures will improve a lot, thank you!
You're so welcome!
Very cool explanation of this, thank you!
Thanks for this lesson, Yan!
Thanks for the tutorial!
Thank you for this tutorial❤
This is Amazing Thank you so much
thanks a lot for this. I'm gonna have to buy your courses because you explain really well!
My pleasure!
Thank you very much for your lessons! They are very helpful and not only to learn the Blender, but also to understand the principle of sculpting better! Thank you 😊
Loved this great video (Commenting this before watching ;)
thanks so much!
Welcome!
omagas thanks , I am so excited
Thank you for this tutorial.
Welcome!
Super inspirational, thank you 🙏🏼
You're so welcome!
What is your basic *"setup" for sculpting?* for the head please.
Subdivide / subsurface settings. etc, for the first object?
Your talent is utterly incredible. Fantastic tutorial, thank you. 💯
perfect!
very cool!
Thank you very much
my pleasure!
Thank you
Cats have such good taste, lol
Great vid again, Yan
Cool I would post one on my instagram thanks for the video.
thnx
10:50 - (Alternative) If you have the native blender addon "Bool Tool" on, do ctrl+shift+b after selecting the parts > 1ST UNION > then go to sculpt mode and smooth it out
thanks for sharing!
Hi Yan. Thank you for the tutorials and sharing your workflow videos. May I ask if you have your 4K pen display set to any resolution scaling for this tutorial? I'm trying to decide over a 2.5K or a 4K display.
Tips for people! : Shift + D Allows You To Duplicate
yup!
I'll use that in game development such as making a sequel with the same character but in a different appearance saving time.
Sure, I like it
nice!
@ 9:50 when you symmetrize , when i do it, it does not go to the other side it just mirrors on the axis of the arm. how can i get it to the other side like you did in the vid??? thank you
If you duplicate and move the neck while in edit mode instead of object mode it should work (in edit mode the origin point doesn't change after moving the object)
So inspiring!! But now I honestly dunno if I should pick up 3D sculpting or hit the gym to get ripped like this xD
😂
Nice Video! Can you please do a video on clothes and accessories like that one so users can learn how you make your beautiful costumes, clothes and accessories?
Will see!
Hello I am new to 3d art. It is something I absolutely love and really want to get into. Can you help me answer a few questions? What would you say the best laptop , pc or monitor would be to buy? And I am thinking about getting a stylist as well. Anything else you would suggest for me to buy?
Wow 😺
Hey, if you having issue focusing on commenting, one thing I see the other content creator does is that they will record the session of what they are focused on, then they will go over the video and comment on them that way.
Just a suggestion.
I do that on other videos, it yields different results. When talking while sculpting i think of showing stuff i wouldn't otherwise.
Can you make video for coin design sculpture please
Thanks very much
I do love you job and skills
Can you do a uv unwrapping tutorial on a complex character? I would buy it personally.
Please 🥺🙏 make a tutorial of how your texture your 3d models
how can i symetrize that way? 9:50
do you have any video's that shows retopo, from your sculpting style, so it could be used for animation?
How did you get the duplicate centered?
Love this video! What is the screen and pen you are using?
Huoin
I'm trying to learn how to sculpt and all I've created are monkeys and Neanderthals... 😂
Cool.
You are a blender artist so this might be the right question. Is there an option in Blender to create a 3d model, adding details by sculpting it and then baking a normal map out to apply back to the low poly model? This is something necessary in gaming and animation because higher polygon counts dramatically increase the rendering time, especially in gaming. I saw people make 3d models in Maya, bake the normal map out from Zbrush after sculpting the model. I wonder if it's possible to set up that production pipeline in Blender.
There is, there are plenty of guides to help you do so, just search blender baking normals and you should find solution to your problem!
I wasn't able to find it in your other videos but I'm a very new blender user and was drawn to the idea that you could sculpt. I want to animate the models but I'm told you don't want to animate a model that's been sculpted. Is that true? Your work is fantastic and inspirational.
You don't want to try and animate a sculpt directly, mostly because it has so many polygons. What most people do is first sculpt the character, duplicate the model, then you "Retopologize" it, at a much lower polygon count. You can then "Bake" the detail (as a normal or bump map) onto the high poly sculpt onto the low poly retop'd model. This will give you the look of all the detail you sculpted, but the lower polygon count will make it easy for your computer to animate.
There is a bit to learn to do it, but there are lots of great tutorials for Blender, so don't be discouraged.
I think you're referring to retopology
I think i need to try it....but what about baby or female body are u gonna make a tutorial about it...and monsters too yeah🤔
Is it also good to sculpt bones and muscles and end up with torso
Can I please ask what pen stylus you use? I really want to learn how to 3-D sculpt for my 3-D printing hobby
Do you use a app for this or no if you do then what is it I just saw your channel and I liked it alot❤
This character was giving me mj vibes at some point😂…cool tutorial though ❤❤
Can u do how to sculpt clothes and the female torso
how do you changed the brush radius with pencil?
please help me
Can you do one for the female torso? There are no quality 3d sculpt videos of female body or torso as I can find on youtube.
What is this device you are using?
Hi im new to character sculpting, i just wanted to ask if i wanted to texture paint it like you paint the lips and posing, animating the character sculpture do i need to retopologize it or is there any other way? Because i never seen you retopologize a sculpture in your tutorials.
Check ahri, she wasn't retopologized
i came for a quick tutorial and discovered a whole new world.
check out the lastest video haha! Thanks for the comment!
Genius in 3D. Can i buy ur course if im from Ikraine and dont have American Card. And if i can I better start with the first and second block of texturing and sculpting or buy Jinx or Vi right away
Yeah shouldn’t be an issue, these are character packages without audio, not courses. It will depend on what u are looking for
may I ask what devices you are using?
What tablet and pen set are you using?
What you use pine mouse ya just pine?
Which graphic tablet you use?
Cool job. Tell me please, what are your components and what brand of tablet ?
check my last review!
Excuse me, what model is the pc?
Vii practicarlo XD termine armorzar xd
How did you join the meshes? When choose all the parts and press CTRL+J to join them all the meshes become blurry.
Blurry? Ctrl j is the way, then remesh but higher the poly count or lower the voxel density if it is getting blurry
what laptop did you use?
What tablet do you use?
I really want to know ur pc hardware specifications.. plzzz
So I tried to symmetrize the arms but it doesn’t seem to work, and when I try to mirror the object and duplicate it, it only works on one side, is there something I’m missing?
Yeah check ur origin point
cant symmetry arm to other side for some reason, it just symmetrieses on its own axis, how do I get arm on other side of body ?
Look up origin point in blender, it has to be centered
The symmetrize option is not working at all unfortunately. Ive tried looking up solutions but it keeps duplicating the arm side by side instead of across the axis
Make sure the origin point is set properly, symmetrize uses that as the mirror axis
When he duplicated the neck again for the first arm, he moved it down in object mode to middle torso, then in edit mode, placed it where he did. Moving objects in edit mode keeps origins in location moved from. So when he hit Symmetrize, it was based off torso location.
One thing to remember with volumes is you need to have a hollow underneath the shoulder where the arms touch thorax.
Good video, nicely presented.
Just one little thingy:
The hands (if you would add them) should just below the hips, meaning your lower arms are too long in proportion, especially since you have bend them quite a bit.
In reality: straight down arms, next to your torso, the hands are just below the hip. With yours, if you would bend the whole arms staight down, you can see how much lower the hands would be. Common little mistake many make. (no biggie ofcourse, since most people won't notice at all, anatomically it's a difference)
Mate wicked video am just starting blender but my pal is saying I should use zbursh how come you choose blender
I have a video on blender vs zbrush, it’s just a tool at the end of the day, and both are powerful so u can’t go wrong either way
Do one without a pencil now please
please tell me in games such as mobilelegends on mobile 3D models of heroes about how many polygons consist of? so that the performance is good on mobile, but the model is also beautiful. How is retopology done there?
Sorry not sure
Hey man I just want to say I really enjoy your videos but I just I have one question I know you sculpt really good but can you also model too
Sure, I am currently working on a modeling course for beginners ;)
@@yansculpts can’t wait to see it
Great video, I cant seem to get Symmetrize to actually work, I have reset cursor to origin, I have reset objects origins. It will not create a symmetrical arm sadly. I am new to blender and I followed this video as exactly as i could and still get the error..
your origin point isn't in the center, you moved it without knowing so. Look up origin point and how to recenter it, it will be easier than explaining here!
Wait i am re reading your comment, your origin is in the center or your 3d cursor? The symmetrize takes the origin point into account as a mirror line, not 3d cursor.
@@yansculpts Well yes but I set the object origins to geometry and still no mirroring on the x-axis. I have started to never move in object mode because of this.. edit mode is for me until i can learn what im doing wrong
Okay come to my stream today at 5pm CEST, tell me you came from here and ask your question there, I will show you how to do it live ;)
@@yansculpts ok will do!
Do you get freelance work for game studios?
Nope i create content
Can you make a female anatomy course too please?
Maybe in the future but right now I have a lot already planned
how do you start with a lower poly sphere?
It’s default
@@yansculpts Interesting. My default has many more surfaces.
ahh, subdivide it!
Це намік на те, щоб ви, змоделювали котика 😺
What's the model of the drawing tablet?
Huoin
Hi bud I'm thinking about buying your course on human anyommy just wanted to double the. Version of blender that would be nest used would it be the current version or the version you use in the corse if it is the one you use could confirm the version please :-)
I don’t think It would matter for this course but I always advice to use the same version during a course to avoid any confusion! You can switch back to newer versions after finishing it!
@@yansculpts ok cool thank for letting me know
What version of blender do you use in the course my dude
It is said that sensei Yan is slowed down by nearly 600% when talking
hahaha!
damn you really make it look ez
- le serraphim -
thank you haha!
Remake jinx
Great video! But i feel like whatever i do i can't make it look anywhere near yours.
Think about the experience difference, you can ofcourse just don’t be in a rush !
@@yansculpts Thank you!

Bro how? you only used 1 brush mostly while im here using all brushes and a hail marry and i cant even make a decent torso.
